We moved into a house in The Woods in 2022 and my father-in-law moved in with us last fall. The stairs to the second floor are oak, beautiful but unforgiving. Our Goldsboro home was built in 1840 and the staircase turns at a 90-degree angle partway up. Three other companies told us a curved lift wouldn't fit. My wife can get to our bedroom without me carrying her up the steps anymore.
