Straight Stairlift

Bestseller

The workhorse of Maricopa’s master-planned two-stories — Rancho El Dorado, Alterra, The Villages. Over 70% of the stairlifts we install in Maricopa are this model. A single straight run, the rail bolts to your stair treads (never into the wall), the seat and footrest fold up out of the way, and the battery backup keeps you moving through the next monsoon-season power outage. Most Maricopa installs wrap in under four hours. Every unit ships with the Arizona heat-spec package — high-temp lubricant, UV-stable fabric, sealed gearing — because anything less fails by the second summer.

Starting at $3,150 installed

What's Included

  • Battery backup for power outages
  • Swivel seat with safety lock
  • Two wireless remote controls

Stairlift Service Across Pinal County

Pinal County, AZ

From Rancho El Dorado — Maricopa's first major subdivision with nearly 5,000 homes, mostly two-story with tile-over-concrete stairs and open foyers built from 2003 onward — to Cobblestone Farms across John Wayne Parkway, where roughly 40 Fulton Homes Crystal models include the only basements in the city, with interior staircases running three levels instead of two.

We know which Alterra tracts have the 14-tread straight run that installs in under three hours. We know which Desert Cedars floor plans have the L-shaped staircase requiring a curved rail. We know Province — the active-adult community where “single-story” marketing conceals sunken great rooms, raised master platforms, and garage-entry steps that are the real accessibility barrier. And The Villages at Rancho El Dorado, where Richmond American built nearly 2,000 homes from a limited set of floor plans — if you live there, we have likely already installed in a home with your exact staircase geometry.

2005 Rancho El Dorado two-story — straight rail on dark oak-laminate treads

Rancho El Dorado, AZ Installed March 2026

A 2005 two-story in Rancho El Dorado with dark oak-laminate treads and a wrought-iron banister running the right side. Mrs. Garrison’s orthopedist told her the stairs had to stop or her second knee replacement would come ahead of schedule. We bolted the beige straight rail into the treads on the open side, positioned the seat so it parks at the bottom landing against the wall, and had the whole install done before lunch. The heat-spec motor handles the attic-adjacent stairwell that pushes past 95°F every July.

Cobblestone Farms basement home — curved rail through a 90° upper landing turn

Cobblestone Farms, AZ Installed February 2026

A Cobblestone Farms home with a full basement — one of the only subdivisions in Maricopa where Fulton Homes built below grade. The staircase runs from the basement den to the main floor with a 90° turn at the top landing, past a half-wall balustrade. We laser-scanned the full run, fabricated a curved rail that bends cleanly around the turn, and installed a swivel-exit seat so Mr. Lindquist steps off onto the hallway floor. The brown-upholstered seat blends with the warm interior. Two framed family photographs hang on the wall above the landing — untouched.

Desert Cedars cottage floor plan — compact rail beside the hallway sideboard

Desert Cedars, AZ Installed January 2026

A smaller Desert Cedars home where the staircase opens directly into the front hallway next to a wooden sideboard that Mrs. Ybarra’s mother brought from Hermosillo. Moving it was not an option. We fitted the slimmest rail in our catalog with a folding footrest so the lift tucks flat against the wall when parked and clears the sideboard by four inches. The stone-tile treads took standard masonry anchors. Her grandchildren still run up and down around the parked chair without a problem.

Province 55+ community — weather-sealed outdoor lift at the stone-paved garage entry

Province, AZ Installed December 2025

Mr. Driscoll retired from Luke AFB and bought into Province in 2018 for the single-story floor plan. What the brochure did not mention was the three-step rise from the garage to the house — stone-paved, uncovered, and fully exposed to the Arizona sun. After a hip replacement, those three steps became a twice-daily hazard. We installed a short-rise outdoor rail with a cream weather-resistant seat, UV coating rated for 110°F+ direct sun, and sealed dust housings. He qualified for a partial HISA grant through the Phoenix VA — we prefilled the form and had authorization back in five weeks. The Province HOA architectural review was approved in three days using our standing template.

Alterra carpeted stairs — swivel-exit seat for safer top-landing step-off

Alterra, AZ Installed November 2025

A two-story Alterra home with 14 carpeted treads and a tight landing at the top where Mrs. Pace’s husband had caught his foot the previous month. The brown-upholstered swivel-exit seat was the deciding factor — it rotates 90° at the upper landing so she stands on the hallway carpet instead of balancing on the top step. The carpet simplified the bracket installation. The sealed battery has been running through two monsoon seasons without a service call.

Platform Lift

The Villages at Rancho El Dorado — indoor wheelchair platform for a service-connected veteran

The Villages at Rancho El Dorado, AZ Installed October 2025

Mr. Reeves served 22 years in the Army and uses a power wheelchair after a service-connected spinal injury. The family’s Villages home has a five-step rise from the garage entry to the main living level — a layout shared by dozens of homes in this subdivision. We installed an inclined platform lift with yellow high-visibility safety edges along the indoor stairway, a fold-up deck when not in use, and a keyed call station at the lower landing. The HISA grant through the Phoenix VA covered the full installation. The platform has been in daily use for six months without a single service call.

Common Questions

Everything Maricopa Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift actually cost in Maricopa right now?

Straight rails in standard Maricopa two-stories — the Rancho El Dorado tile stairs, the Alterra open foyers, The Villages tracts — run $2,800 to $5,500 installed. Curved rails for Cobblestone Farms basement homes and any staircase with a landing turn run $9,000 to $15,000 because the rail is manufactured to your exact geometry. Outdoor models for garage-to-house transitions and raised entries run $4,000 to $7,500. Every quote is written, honored for 30 days, and includes installation, rail, seat, battery backup, and the first service visit.

Are prices different in Maricopa than Chandler or Gilbert?

Equipment prices are the same across Arizona — we do not inflate quotes based on zip code. What varies slightly is install labor for unusual conditions: drilling through the tile-over-concrete stairs common in Rancho El Dorado and Alterra, compensating for uneven slabs in the older pre-boom housing stock near the original townsite, and the desert-heat motor upgrade that ships standard on every Pinal County install. We tell you the line items upfront. No surprise premiums.

Do you offer financing if I don’t qualify for ALTCS or HISA?

Yes — three lending partners with 0% APR for qualified buyers and low fixed-rate plans from $79/month. Application is a soft credit pull (no hit to your score), takes about 4 minutes, and approval is usually instant. Many Maricopa families combine financing with the IRS medical deduction or a partial VA grant to bring the monthly payment down further. We walk you through the math during the free assessment.

Does the ROC license matter for my install?

Yes — and in Arizona it is a criminal offense to perform residential work over $1,000 without an active Arizona Registrar of Contractors (ROC) license under ARS § 32-1151. Our ROC license number appears on every written quote. You can verify it at roc.az.gov. ROC-licensed contractors carry a surety bond, liability insurance, and workers’ compensation. If any company gives you a quote without an ROC number on it, show them the door.

A word from Luis

Most Maricopa families call me after the second close call — a stumble on the tile stairs in a Rancho El Dorado two-story, a parent in Province who stopped going upstairs after a hip replacement, or a Cobblestone Farms homeowner whose sunken living room steps became the most dangerous three feet in the house.

I have measured every common floor plan in The Villages, every Alterra tract with the 14-tread straight run, and every Desert Cedars layout with the L-shaped landing turn. If you tell me your subdivision and square footage, there is a good chance I already know your staircase. My job is simple: drive to your house within 24 hours, measure once, and give you a written price that is honored for 30 days. No pressure. No upsells.

If you are a veteran connected to the Phoenix VA, I will walk you through the HISA paperwork before we talk price. If ALTCS covers your situation, I will handle the authorization packet. You worry about your family — I will worry about the stairs.

— Luis Ramírez, Maricopa
