Stairlift Service Across Sacramento County

Sacramento County, CA

We install stairlifts across Parkway and South Sacramento's 95823. Parkway Estates — the 1950s ranch subdivision — is where most homes have a single straight flight off the living room, ideal for a tread-bolted straight rail. In Valley Hi and North Laguna, 1960s–70s split-levels need curved-rail measuring for the half-landing turn. Florin and Meadowview homes run from compact single-story ranches with narrow 32-inch stairwells to broader two-story layouts. We also cover Fruitridge Pocket and Lemon Hill next door. Elk Grove, Rosemont, and La Riviera are 10–15 minutes out and we're there weekly.

Straight

Parkway Estates — straight rail on original oak treads

Parkway Estates, CA Installed March 2026

1958 Parkway Estates ranch with original oak treads — narrow at 30 inches, tight against the living room wall. Luis set a straight rail in three hours, bolting into the treads so the oak stayed untouched. The cream seat tucks against the bottom landing. Mrs. Martin uses it to reach the upstairs bathroom without her daughter walking beside her.

Valley Hi — curved rail with a 90° upper turn

Valley Hi, CA Installed February 2026

1968 Valley Hi split-level with a 90° turn at the upper landing, framed by a half-wall and a chandelier. Luis ran a one-hour laser measurement to capture the exact turn radius, and the curved rail arrived custom-bent four weeks later. The brown seat parks at the top floor, out of the downstairs sightline. Mr. Chand uses it six times a day.

North Laguna — straight rail on tile treads

North Laguna, CA Installed January 2026

1962 North Laguna cottage with stone-tile treads and a wooden sideboard at the base — tight quarters. The straight rail runs 12 feet, bolted through the tile into the sub-tread beneath. The brown seat folds flat when not in use, leaving the sideboard fully accessible. Mrs. Okonkwo uses it three times a day to reach the bedroom level.

Outdoor

Florin — outdoor lift on stone porch steps

Florin, CA Installed April 2026

Five stone steps at a Florin front entry, with an uneven rise on the top step. The outdoor lift is IP55 sealed — gasketed motor housing, UV-treated seat cover — and the rail anchors directly into the stone with masonry bolts. Mr. Herrera had it installed after a knee replacement kept him off the front steps for three months. He uses the front door again now.

Meadowview — straight rail on carpeted stairs

Meadowview, CA Installed February 2026

1978 Meadowview two-story with beige carpeted stairs — the pile matched the brown seat upholstery almost exactly. The straight rail runs 14 feet over the carpet, bolted through into the treads underneath with no tears or adhesive damage. Standard-width staircase, no complications. The Garcias' teenage son can still walk up beside it.

Platform Lift

Fruitridge Pocket — indoor platform lift for a wheelchair user

Fruitridge Pocket, CA Installed November 2025

A Fruitridge Pocket split-level with a wheelchair user and no safe transfer. The indoor inclined platform lift carries a power chair up 14 feet — flat black deck, yellow safety edges, white handrail on the wall side, 600 lb rated. Mrs. Washington rolls on from the lower landing, presses the constant-pressure toggle, and rides to the upper floor without leaving her chair.

Common Questions

Everything Parkway Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

How much does a straight stairlift cost in Parkway?

Base price starts at $2,800 installed, covering the rail, seat, DC motor, battery backup, and installation. Most Parkway Estates ranch homes have 12–16 foot single flights. Extra rail beyond 16 feet adds about $150 per foot. Financing begins at $79/month with no prepayment penalty.

What does a curved stairlift cost for a Parkway split-level?

Curved models begin at $9,000, with pricing set by the custom rail fabrication. Valley Hi and North Laguna split-levels usually have a single half-landing bend. Full 180° turns cost more. A firm quote follows a one-hour on-site laser measurement.

Are there financing options for a Parkway stairlift?

Yes. Financing starts at $79/month through third-party partners, with 12–60 month terms. Most Parkway homeowners qualify, and there's no prepayment penalty. Veterans may use the VA HISA grant (up to $6,800), and we assist with Medi-Cal HCBA Waiver applications during the assessment.

What does an outdoor stairlift cost in Parkway?

Outdoor models start at $4,000, including a weather-sealed rail, IP55-rated motor, and UV-treated seat cover. Stone porch installs in Florin and Meadowview typically add 1–2 hours for masonry anchoring. The lift handles 100°F summers and wet Januarys.

A word from Luis

I work Parkway and South Sacramento every week, and the 95823 has a clear pattern: 1950s ranch homes off Parkway Estates with one straight flight, then the 1960s and 70s split-levels in Valley Hi that turn at a half-landing. The ranches take a straight rail bolted into oak treads in about three hours. The split-levels need a laser measure and a custom-bent curved rail.

Most of these stairwells run 30 to 32 inches, which is plenty. I bolt into the treads, never the drywall, so the rail comes out clean years later. If your front entry has stone steps like a lot of Florin and Meadowview homes, I'll weather-seal an outdoor lift for the Valley's 100-degree summers and wet Januarys.

Your Next Step

Ready to get started? It's simple.

Parkway's housing stock — those 1950s ranches and 1960s split-levels — was built before anyone planned for aging in place. Narrow stairwells, half-landing turns, and stone porch steps are all solvable. A straight rail handles most Parkway Estates homes; curved rails cover the Valley Hi and North Laguna split-levels; an outdoor lift keeps the front entrance open when the steps get to be too much.

Call Luis at (800) 965-0350 for a free in-home assessment. He'll come to your Parkway home — Parkway Estates, Valley Hi, Florin, anywhere in the 95823 — within the week, measure your stairs, and hand you a written quote. Most installs happen within 10 days of the order.
