Straight Stairlift

The standard for Clark County's stucco two-stories — from Summerlin to Henderson to Spring Valley.

Over 70% of the stairlifts we install across the Las Vegas Valley are straight rails. The typical Clark County two-story — built between 1990 and 2010 with a single straight run from the entry foyer to the upper bedrooms — installs in under four hours. The rail bolts to stair treads, never into stucco walls, the seat folds flat, and the heat-rated battery backup carries you through July brownouts when the grid strains above 115 degrees. Every motor ships heat-rated to 130 degrees as a baseline specification.

Starting at $3,200 installed

Our Coverage Area

Stairlift Service Across Clark County

Clark County, NV

From Sun City Summerlin along the Spring Mountains — where split-level Del Webb models and sunken dens create the valley's most common short-staircase install and where HOA approval typically comes in 24-48 hours under our pre-templated ARC packets — to the Mediterranean estates of Green Valley Ranch in Henderson, where formal entry foyers with chandelier clearances and 90-degree upper-landing turns require custom curved rails and sometimes a VA HISA coordination — our team has mapped every staircase type in Clark County. We know which Spring Valley blocks still have original 1980s Saltillo tile treads that need masonry anchors, which Southwest Las Vegas entries off Blue Diamond Road have raised flagstone porches that need UV-coated outdoor lifts, and which Downtown bungalows near Fremont Street sit inside the John S. Park Historic Preservation district. Nearby North Las Vegas, Summerlin South, Winchester, Spring Valley, and Paradise are all inside our same-week scheduling window — and Nellis AFB cases receive priority scheduling as a baseline practice.

Summerlin South two-story — straight rail on oak treads, HOA-approved in 48 hours

Summerlin South, NV Installed March 2026

A 1998 two-story in Summerlin South with dark oak treads and a wrought-iron balustrade — a standard American West build from the late 1990s along Town Center Drive. Mrs. Kendall had a partial knee replacement at Summerlin Hospital in January and her surgeon told her to avoid stairs for eight weeks. We measured Wednesday, the Summerlin HOA ARC approved by email Thursday morning using our pre-templated accommodation packet, and the lift was running Friday afternoon. The rail bolts into the stair treads only — the wrought-iron spindles and the textured stucco wall were never touched. The heat-rated battery backup carried Mrs. Kendall through a July brownout on the Summerlin grid without missing a ride. She has not had to sleep on the living room couch since the day we installed.

Henderson Green Valley estate — curved rail through 90° upper-landing turn

Henderson (Green Valley), NV Installed February 2026

A 2003 Mediterranean-style two-story in Green Valley Ranch with a formal entry foyer and a staircase that sweeps 90 degrees at the upper landing before the bedroom hallway. The Nakamuras retired from Nellis AFB in 2004 and had no intention of leaving. Mr. Nakamura's VA neurologist at the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System on Pecos Road wrote the medical-necessity prescription, Luis laser-scanned the full staircase geometry during the first visit, and we fabricated a curved rail that follows the 90-degree bend in one continuous track. The swivel-exit seat at the top means Mr. Nakamura steps off onto the hallway floor instead of the top tread. Green Valley Ranch HOA approved the install under federal Fair Housing reasonable-accommodation rules — Luis prepared the full ARC accommodation packet and physician letter at no charge. The rail parks flush against the wall at the landing, leaving clearance for Mrs. Nakamura to walk past.

Southwest Las Vegas entry — outdoor lift on flagstone porch steps, VA-funded

Southwest Las Vegas, NV Installed December 2025

A 2001 stucco two-story off Blue Diamond Road with a raised front entry and six flagstone steps that radiate 140-degree heat well into the evening during July and August. Mr. Briggs, a retired Army sergeant who served at Fort Irwin before settling in the valley, fell on the flagstone twice the prior summer. His VA provider at the North Las Vegas VA Medical Center prescribed the outdoor lift under his service-connected disability rating. Luis prefilled VA Form 10-0103 with the VA Southern Nevada system's documentation preferences, and the HISA grant covered the full installation cost. Every component is UV-coated and IP55 weather-sealed against the Clark County dust storms that come through the southwest valley three or four times each summer. Mr. Briggs has ridden it through two full desert summers without a service call.

Spring Valley ranch — heavy-duty rail for post-surgical recovery

Spring Valley, NV Installed November 2025

A 1991 two-story in Spring Valley with Saltillo tile treads and a homeowner recovering from bariatric surgery at Sunrise Hospital who needed the 600-lb-capacity reinforced frame with the wider 22-inch padded seat. Luis identified the need at the first assessment — the standard seat width would have been uncomfortable enough that the homeowner would likely have avoided using the lift. The masonry anchors required for the Saltillo tile added twenty minutes to the install and nothing to the quoted price. Mr. Castellano used the lift multiple times daily through his full six-month recovery period, and his surgeon specifically credited home mobility access with keeping him out of a skilled nursing facility placement. The heat-rated motor and battery are baseline spec on every Clark County install.

Sun City Summerlin split-level — compact rail on carpeted stairs to sunken den

Sun City Summerlin, NV October 2025

A 1993 Del Webb model in Sun City Summerlin — one of the 7,700 homes in the 55-plus community along the Spring Mountains. Most Sun City homes are single-story, but the Patels chose a split-level with eight carpeted stairs between the main living level and the sunken den. After Mr. Patel's second hip replacement at MountainView Hospital, those eight steps were the hardest part of every day. The slim-profile straight rail mounts through the carpet into the stair treads beneath the pad — never into the drywall — and the chair rides smoothly from the main level to the den landing. Sun City Summerlin HOA approved within forty-eight hours using Luis's standard ARC accommodation packet. The compact seat folds flat when parked so the staircase stays fully open for other household members.

Downtown Las Vegas bungalow — curved rail bypassing mid-landing in 1962 historic home

Downtown Las Vegas, NV September 2025

A 1962 cinder-block bungalow three blocks east of Fremont Street in the John S. Park Historic Neighborhood with a staircase that splits at a mid-landing between the ground-floor entry and the raised bedroom wing. A standard stairlift would have required a transfer at the mid-landing — not an option for a user with limited upper-body strength. We designed a continuous curved rail that bypasses the mid-landing without stopping, carrying Mr. Orozco from the front entry to the bedroom level in a single uninterrupted ride. Luis confirmed with Clark County that an interior install inside the John S. Park Historic District required no exterior review, conducted the full consultation in Spanish, and coordinated with Mr. Orozco's VA social worker at the North Las Vegas VA to file the HISA grant paperwork. The grant covered the full installation.

Common Questions

Everything Las Vegas Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift cost in Las Vegas right now?

Straight rails in standard Clark County two-stories — the stucco homes across Summerlin, Spring Valley, Henderson, and Southwest Las Vegas — run $2,800 to $5,500 installed. Curved rails for homes with landing turns, common in Green Valley Ranch estates and Summerlin split-levels, run $9,000 to $15,000 because the rail is manufactured to your exact staircase geometry. Outdoor models for raised entry steps and flagstone porches run $4,000 to $7,500. Every quote is written, honored for 30 days, and includes the heat-rated motor, battery backup, and first service visit. Financing from $79 per month for qualified buyers.

Does the heat-rated motor cost extra in Las Vegas?

No. Every stairlift we install on the Clark County valley floor ships with a heat-rated motor and thermal shutdown at 130 degrees as a baseline — not a $300 upgrade. Standard off-the-shelf motors throttle above 115 degrees ambient, and Las Vegas routinely exceeds that in July. Garages and south-facing entryways can hit 140 degrees by mid-afternoon. The heat rating is included in our quoted price for every Las Vegas Valley install.

Do you charge for HOA paperwork in Summerlin or Henderson?

No. Nevada has the highest HOA-governed housing rate in the western US, and most Summerlin, Green Valley, Anthem, Sun City Summerlin, and Sun City Anthem communities require ARC approval for any fixed installation. We prepare the full ARC accommodation packet — including the physician medical-necessity letter required under NRS Chapter 116 and the federal Fair Housing Act — at no charge. The packet is templated from hundreds of prior Clark County approvals and typically comes back approved in 24-72 hours.

Are prices different in Summerlin versus Spring Valley?

Equipment prices are identical across Clark County. We do not inflate quotes for Summerlin or Henderson addresses. What can vary slightly is install labor for unusual conditions: masonry-rated anchors for Saltillo or travertine tile treads in older Spring Valley and Paradise homes, HOA ARC documentation for gated communities, and compensating mounts for the foundation settling in pre-1990 downtown bungalows. Every line item is itemized upfront.

A word from Luis

Most Las Vegas families call me when the summer heat has finally made the second-floor bedrooms impossible — the stairs are the last obstacle between staying in the house they've owned for twenty years and moving to a facility they never wanted. Sun City Summerlin alone has kept me busier than I can count since 2008. Nellis AFB veterans make up another big part of my week.

I come to your house, measure with a laser, and hand you a written quote good for 30 days. The heat-rated motor and HOA paperwork are included in every quote — no add-ons when I arrive. En español si lo prefiere.
