Straight Stairlift

The workhorse of North Las Vegas's boom-era two-stories — Aliante, El Dorado, Tropical Parkway.

Over 70% of the stairlifts we install in Clark County are this model. A single straight run, the rail bolts to your stair treads (never into the wall), the seat and footrest fold up out of the way, and the battery backup keeps you moving through the next outage. Most North Las Vegas installs wrap in under three hours. Every unit ships with the Nevada heat-spec package — heat-rated motor, sealed gear housing, UV-stable fabric.

Starting at $3,150 installed

What's Included

Our Coverage Area

Stairlift Service Across Clark County

Clark County, NV

From the master-planned streets of Aliante — North Las Vegas's largest planned community, built between 2003 and 2008 with tile stairs, open foyers, and HOA rules that govern everything visible from the street — to the older tracts of El Dorado and the Losee Road corridor, where late-1990s construction means the homeowners have been there long enough to need the stairs they once ran up, our team has measured staircases across every North Las Vegas subdivision.

We know which Aliante floor plans have the L-shaped staircase with the 90° turn that requires a curved rail — it's the same builder floor plan in hundreds of homes. We know which El Dorado tracts have the standard 14-tread straight run that installs in under three hours. And we know the North Valley and Tropical Parkway neighborhoods where the mix of 1995-2005 construction produces two-stories with the steepest tile stairs in the metro — built during the phase when builders were maximizing square footage on narrow lots.

The Nellis AFB-adjacent neighborhoods — the tracts east of Las Vegas Boulevard North and south of Craig Road — have the highest veteran density in the city. These are predominantly 1990s and 2000s tract homes where retired military families are aging in place. The VA Southern Nevada facility is a 10-minute drive. We handle more HISA grant installs per capita in this part of North Las Vegas than anywhere else in Clark County.

2005 Aliante two-story — tile stairs, heat-rated motor

Aliante, NV Installed March 2026

A 2005 Aliante two-story with 14 tile treads and a vaulted foyer. Mrs. Duncan's daughter called from California after her mother mentioned sleeping on the couch for two months. We drilled through the tile, anchored into the concrete, and had the rail running by noon. The heat-rated motor handles the July temperatures when the attic-adjacent stairwell pushes past 100°F.

El Dorado open foyer — slim-profile rail, barely visible from the entry

El Dorado, NV Installed February 2026

A 2001 El Dorado tract home with an open foyer and a homeowner who was clear the stairlift couldn't look like a hospital device in his living room. We specified the slim-profile rail, matched the finish to the wrought-iron balusters, and positioned the chair to park flush against the wall at the bottom. Mr. Callahan's poker night has been meeting there for years — three months in, nobody has noticed the lift.

Aliante L-shaped staircase — single curved rail, 90° turn

Aliante, NV Installed January 2026

An Aliante home with the L-shaped staircase floor plan that appears in hundreds of homes across the community. The Martinez family's grandfather needed a solution that didn't require stopping and standing at the landing. We laser-scanned, fabricated a curved rail that takes him from the entry to the upstairs hallway in one continuous ride, and added a swivel-exit seat at the top. He uses it five times a day.

Nellis-area tract — HISA-funded, swivel-exit seat

North Valley, NV Installed December 2025

A 1998 tract home near Nellis AFB. MSgt. Thompson retired after 22 years of service and the 14 tile stairs became the obstacle his VA physician wrote up. We prefilled the HISA grant paperwork and walked it to the VA Southern Nevada prosthetics office — authorization came back in four weeks. The swivel-exit seat rotates 90° at the upper landing so he steps off onto the hallway carpet, not the top tile tread.

Tropical Parkway garage entry — heat-sealed for 130°F garage temps

Tropical Parkway, NV Installed November 2025

A Tropical Parkway two-story where three steps from the garage to the house became Mr. Reeves's daily obstacle after hip surgery. The garage hits 130°F in July. We installed a short-rise outdoor rail with the heat-rated motor, reflective motor housing insulation, and sealed gear housing. The lift has run through two Clark County summers without throttling.

Losee Road corridor — compact rail in a narrow tract stairwell

Losee Road Corridor, NV Installed October 2025

A late-1990s tract home along the Losee Road corridor where the builder maximized square footage by narrowing the stairwell. Mrs. Vasquez's grandchildren live with her and need room to pass. We installed the compact-profile rail with the fold-up footrest — the chair tucks flat against the wall when parked, leaving enough clearance for the kids to use the stairs freely.

Common Questions

Everything North Las Vegas Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift actually cost in North Las Vegas right now?

Straight rails in standard North Las Vegas homes — the Aliante tile stairs, the El Dorado tracts, the Tropical Parkway two-stories — run $2,800 to $5,500 installed. Curved rails for Aliante homes with L-shaped staircase turns and any 90° landing geometry run $9,000 to $15,000. Outdoor models for raised front entries and garage transitions run $4,000 to $7,500. Every quote is written, honored for 30 days, and includes installation, rail, seat, heat-rated battery backup, and the first service visit.

Are prices different in North Las Vegas than Henderson or Summerlin?

Equipment prices are the same across Clark County — we don't inflate quotes for any zip code. What varies slightly is install labor for unusual conditions: the steep tile stairs in some Tropical Parkway builds, or the occasional electrical upgrade in older North Valley homes. Line items are on the quote upfront. No surprise surcharges.

Is a used or refurbished stairlift safe in this heat?

For straight staircases, a certified refurbished unit can save 30-40% — we carry factory-reconditioned straight rails with new upholstery, new batteries, and a 2-year warranty. Every refurbished unit ships with the same Nevada heat-spec package (heat-rated motor, sealed gear housing, UV-stable fabric) as a new install. For curved rails, refurbished is almost never an option. Ask during the assessment.

Does the Aliante HOA need to approve this?

For interior installs, no — the lift isn't visible from outside. For exterior installs, the Aliante Master Association and some sub-associations require ARC submission. NRS Chapter 116 and federal Fair Housing Act require HOAs to grant reasonable accommodations for documented disabilities. We prepare the ARC accommodation packet with the physician medical-necessity letter at no charge. Most Aliante approvals come back within two weeks.

A word from Luis

Most North Las Vegas families call me after the house they bought in 2004 catches up with them — a stumble on the tile stairs in an Aliante two-story, a Nellis retiree whose knees gave out before his mortgage did, a daughter in Henderson worried about her parents in an El Dorado tract home they never planned to leave.

My job is simple: drive to your house within 24 hours, measure once, and give you a price that's honored for 30 days. No pressure. No upsells.
