Straight Stairlift

The workhorse of Paradise's tract homes, casino-era ranches, and condo conversions.

Over 70% of the stairlifts we install in Clark County are this model. A single straight run, the rail bolts to your stair treads (never into the wall), the seat and footrest fold up out of the way, and the battery backup keeps you moving through the next monsoon-season outage. Most Paradise installs wrap in under four hours. Every install ships with heat-rated motor, high-temperature lubricant, and UV-stable seat fabric as standard Clark County spec.

Starting at $3,200 installed

What's Included

Our Coverage Area

Stairlift Service Across Clark County

Clark County, NV

From the 1960s and 1970s ranches of Paradise Palms and the Desert Inn corridor — the original Vegas residential stock, built for casino workers and Nellis AFB retirees with split-level entries and original terrazzo floors — to the 1990s tract homes of the Tropicana corridor and Sunrise Acres, where wide carpeted two-stories are the dominant layout, our team has mapped every staircase pattern in Paradise. We know which University District condos near UNLV require HOA board approval, which Hughes Center mid-rises have the common-area stairway configuration that needs building-management coordination, and which McCarran area homes from the 1980s have the narrow stairwell that requires a compact folding seat. The Flamingo/Paradise corridor has the mix of condo conversions, 1970s two-stories, and newer infill that accounts for nearly a third of our Paradise installs. Winchester on the north fringe has the older housing stock and highest concentration of aging-in-place homeowners in the township.

Tropicana corridor two-story — heat-rated motor, standard carpet install

Tropicana corridor, NV Installed March 2026

A 1996 two-story on the Tropicana corridor with 14 carpeted treads and a stairwell that faces west — afternoon sun pushed the temperature past 100°F last July. Mrs. Okonkwo's daughter called from Los Angeles after her mother stopped going upstairs entirely. We installed a heat-rated motor with 130°F thermal shutdown, UV-stable fabric for the sun-exposed upper landing, and had Mrs. Okonkwo riding within three hours. She sleeps in her own bedroom every night now.

Desert Inn corridor — slim-profile rail in a 1970s ranch two-story

Desert Inn corridor, NV Installed February 2026

A 1972 ranch two-story on the Desert Inn corridor — one of Paradise's original residential streets. Mr. Feldman retired from a 35-year casino career and told us the lift needed to be as unobtrusive as the house itself. We specified the slim-profile rail, neutral tan upholstery, and mounted the chair flush against the wall at the base. He rides it four times a day and says it's the best investment since he sold the time-share.

90° landing turn in a 1964 Paradise Palms split-level

Paradise Palms, NV Installed January 2026

A 1964 split-level in Paradise Palms — one of the original Las Vegas residential subdivisions, built for Nellis AFB families and casino workers. The staircase has five steps from the entry, a 90° turn at the landing, and six more to the bedrooms. Mrs. Martinez's husband, a retired Nellis mechanic, had been sleeping on the main-floor couch since his stroke. We digitally scanned the staircase, fabricated a curved rail with desert-spec heat-rated components, and installed in a single afternoon. He rode to his bedroom that evening.

Sunrise Acres carpeted stairs — swivel-exit for safer top-landing step-off

Sunrise Acres, NV Installed December 2025

A 1998 two-story in Sunrise Acres with 13 carpeted treads and a tight hallway at the top. Mrs. Washington's biggest concern wasn't the ride — it was stepping off at the top where her sister had fallen the previous summer visiting from Reno. We installed the swivel-exit seat that rotates 90° at the upper landing, so she stands on the hallway floor instead of the top step. Heat-rated motor runs without throttling through the valley's 115°F peaks.

Winchester narrow stairwell — compact rail in a 1965 ranch home

Winchester/Sahara, NV Installed November 2025

A 1965 ranch in the Winchester area with a narrow stairwell and original terrazzo treads. Mr. Tran's wife called after he stopped going upstairs — he'd been sleeping in the den for five months following a fall. We fitted the slimmest rail in our catalog, drilled into the terrazzo substrate without cracking the decorative surface, and added a folding footrest so the lift parks flat. Mr. Tran went upstairs the day of install and hasn't missed a night in his bedroom since.

McCarran area garage-to-house entry — desert-sealed outdoor rail

McCarran area, NV Installed October 2025

The Reeves home near McCarran has a garage-level entry with four steps up to the main living area. Mr. Reeves is a retired Air Force veteran who qualified for a HISA grant through VA Southern Nevada. We prefilled VA Form 10-0103, the prescription came back in five weeks, and the lift was installed the week after. The sealed gear housing blocks Mojave dust, the heat-rated motor handles 130°F garage temperatures, and the keyed call station sits at the lower landing. Two summers, zero service calls.

Common Questions

Everything Paradise Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift actually cost in the Las Vegas Valley right now?

Straight rails in standard Paradise homes — the Tropicana corridor two-stories, the Sunrise Acres tract homes, the Desert Inn corridor ranches — run $2,800 to $5,500 installed. Curved rails, needed for 1960s Paradise Palms split-levels with mid-landing turns and older homes with 90° staircase bends, run $9,000 to $15,000 because the rail is manufactured to your exact geometry. Outdoor models for covered patios and garage entries run $4,000 to $7,500. Every quote is written, honored for 30 days, and includes installation, rail, seat, battery backup, and the first service visit.

Are prices different in Paradise than Henderson or Summerlin?

Equipment prices are the same across the Las Vegas Valley — we don't charge more for a Strip-adjacent address or a Hughes Center condo. What varies slightly is install labor for unusual conditions: HOA submission timelines in condo buildings, tile-staircase drilling in 1990s tract homes, and the occasional electrical upgrade in a 1960s Paradise Palms ranch. We tell you the line items upfront. No surprise fees.

Does the extreme Las Vegas heat damage stairlifts?

It destroys standard ones. Garages and entryways in Clark County exceed 130°F in July, and standard stairlift motors throttle or shut down above 115°F ambient. Standard lubricants thin to the point of failure. Every Clark County install ships with a heat-rated motor (thermal shutdown at 130°F as a safety ceiling, not a daily operating limit), high-temperature synthetic lubricant rated to 125°F continuous, and UV-stable seat fabric. These are standard spec, not upgrades.

Any hidden fees for condo or HOA buildings?

Our quote includes the HOA paperwork we handle for you. Nevada has the highest HOA-governed housing rate in the western US — most Paradise condos, townhome complexes, and gated communities require architectural review committee approval for any fixed installation. We prepare the ARC accommodation packet with a physician medical-necessity letter at no charge and have templates on file for the major Clark County communities.

A word from Luis

Most Paradise families call me after something has already happened — a fall on the tile stairs in a Desert Inn corridor two-story, a parent who stopped going upstairs after the July heat turned the stairwell into a furnace, a daughter in California calling because her father near UNLV refuses to leave the house he bought in 1985.

My job is simple: get to your house within 24 hours, measure once, and give you a price that's honored for 30 days. No pressure. No upsells. Every Clark County install ships heat-rated — 115°F is not an edge case here, it's the baseline.
