Stairlift Service Across Clark County

Clark County, NV

From the 1931 stone cottages along Arizona Street in the Boulder City Historic District to the 1970s ranch homes in Gingerwood, from lakefront blocks near Marina Highlands to newer two-stories in Del Prado and Bella Vista Estates, we've measured stairs on every block in Boulder City. Historic District cottages have 28-inch stairwells that need the compact-profile rail. Gingerwood's open-riser staircases need backing plates across each tread. Del Prado split-levels have tile-on-concrete treads that take masonry anchors. Lake View blocks above the marina add weather-sealed outdoor units.

Boulder City sits 25 miles southeast of the Las Vegas Strip in Clark County. We cover Henderson and Searchlight with no travel surcharge.

Compact rail on steep oak treads in a 1947 Historic District cottage

Historic District, NV Installed March 2026

A 1947 cottage on Avenue B with original dark-stained oak treads, only 29 inches wide between original plaster walls. The steep pitch — built before modern code — required the adjustable-angle mount. We bolted the compact-profile rail into the oak treads, not the wall. The beige seat folds to 11 inches and parks at the bottom landing, leaving enough clearance for the homeowner's grandchildren to pass on the stairs.

Custom curved rail at upper landing in a Bella Vista Estates two-story

Bella Vista Estates, NV Installed February 2026

A modern two-story in Bella Vista Estates with a 90-degree turn at the upper landing, high ceilings, and polished tile flooring on the top floor. We laser-scanned the staircase, designed the curved rail to hug the wall side, and fabricated a single continuous track. The brown seat parks at the upper landing, ready for Mrs. Gutierrez's mother. Curved rails start at $9,000.

Compact rail on flagstone treads in a 1933 Hoover Dam-era cottage on Wyoming Street

Boulder City Historic District, NV Installed January 2026

A 1933 stone cottage on Wyoming Street, originally built for a Hoover Dam superintendent. Light flagstone treads, narrow stairwell, original brick hearth in the front room and a wooden sideboard tucked beside the stairs. Tight cottage geometry — about 11 feet of rail. We anchored the compact-profile track into the stone with masonry sleeves so the original treads stayed unmarked. The brown seat parks at the bottom landing next to the sideboard.

Common Questions

Everything Boulder City Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift cost in Boulder City right now?

Straight rails in standard Boulder City homes run $2,800 to $5,500 installed. Curved rails — needed for Bella Vista Estates split-level turns and Marina Highlands multi-landing staircases — run $9,000 to $15,000 because the rail is custom-manufactured to your exact stair geometry. Outdoor models with UV-stabilized hardware for Mojave Desert conditions run $4,000 to $7,500. Every quote is written, honored for 30 days, and includes installation, rail, seat, battery backup, and the first service visit.

Do other Las Vegas-area companies charge less?

Equipment prices are identical whether you live in Boulder City or Summerlin. The difference is travel fees — many Las Vegas installers add $150 to $300 for the 25-mile drive over Railroad Pass to Boulder City. We don't. Our Clark County crew covers Boulder City, Henderson, and Searchlight at the same flat rate. No travel surcharge, no mileage add-on, no fuel pass-through.

Does the Mojave Desert heat affect long-term costs?

Outdoor units in direct Nevada sun need UV-stabilized upholstery and heat-rated batteries. Both are standard on every outdoor install we do here. Indoor units in air-conditioned homes have no heat-related wear. Annual service runs about $150. Batteries last 4 to 6 years indoors, 3 to 4 years on outdoor units exposed to 110°F+ summer afternoons. We give you the replacement timeline at the assessment.

Is a used or refurbished stairlift worth it in this climate?

For indoor units, a certified refurbished rail can save 30 to 40 percent and works fine in Boulder City's air-conditioned homes. For outdoor units, we only install new — Mojave UV and heat cycles break down seals, wiring insulation, and upholstery faster than in temperate climates. A used outdoor unit shipped in from the Midwest will fail within two Boulder City summers.

A word from Luis

Boulder City is a small town that acts like one — people know each other, and when a neighbor on Avenue B gets a stairlift, the next call comes from Avenue G the following week. I've measured stairs in the 1930s Hoover Dam-era stone cottages in the Historic District, the Gingerwood ranch homes, and the newer two-stories in Del Prado.

Mojave Desert heat is the wild card here. Garage temperatures hit 130 degrees in July, outdoor concrete steps radiate heat past sundown, and UV breaks down standard upholstery in two seasons. Every outdoor install gets UV-stabilized vinyl and heat-rated batteries — standard, no upcharge. The VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System at 6900 N Pecos Rd in North Las Vegas handles HISA grants for Boulder City veterans. I've done that paperwork dozens of times.
