Our Coverage Area

Stairlift Service Across Fairfax County

Fairfax County, VA

We install across the Huntington CDP and the surrounding Fairfax County neighborhoods. The original Huntington subdivision off Huntington Avenue is mostly 1940s WWII-veteran duplex stock — narrow but consistent staircases, 13-foot straight runs, original oak. Jefferson Manor's 550 side-by-side townhouses share the same era and footprint. Rose Hill, the largest subdivision in the CDP, has 1950s ranches with one or two quarter-turns. Belle Haven and Belle View, just east on the Potomac side, have larger 1950s split-levels. We also serve the Yellow Line high-rises around the Huntington Metro station and the surrounding Alexandria neighborhoods of Old Town, Del Ray, and Mount Vernon corridor homes.

Common Questions

Everything Huntington Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

How much does a stairlift cost in Huntington, VA?

A straight stairlift installed in a typical 1940s Huntington duplex or Jefferson Manor townhouse runs from $2,800 with hardware, battery backup, and the five-year warranty. Curved rails for the Rose Hill quarter-turns or Belle Haven splits start at $9,000. Outdoor units start at $4,000 and 600-pound capacity heavy-duty units at $5,050.

Are there hidden fees for installation in Fairfax County?

No. Our quote includes the rail, chair, battery backup, in-home measurement, install labor, removal of any prior unit, and the warranty package. We do not charge travel fees inside Fairfax County or the Alexandria mailing-address corridor.

Can I finance a stairlift through your Huntington office?

Yes. Financing starts at $79/month with approved credit and 36- to 84-month terms. Most Huntington households qualify with a soft credit pull that does not affect your score.

Do you offer rentals for short-term recovery in Huntington?

Yes, we rent straight stairlifts on monthly terms for post-surgical recovery — common after orthopedic procedures at Inova Mount Vernon Hospital at 2501 Parker's Lane, Alexandria. Professional install and removal, no permanent modification.

A word from Luis

The Huntington duplexes off Huntington Avenue all share the same 1940s footprint — a 13-foot straight run, 36-inch tread width, original oak that has been refinished a dozen times since the GIs moved in. I can quote one of these from a phone call before I leave the truck because the geometry is that consistent. The 1950s Rose Hill ranches add a quarter-turn at the bottom, which sometimes pushes a job to a curved rail.

For Jefferson Manor and Belle Haven, I always check whether the staircase opens onto a finished basement — about half do, and that affects whether we route the parking position to the upper or lower landing.

— Luis Ramírez, Huntington
