A word from Luis

Holly Springs is a different job than Atlanta proper. The Harmony on the Lakes and Holly Mill split-foyers have an entry landing with 4–6 risers down to the basement and 7–9 risers up to the main level — that's two short rails, not one long one, and pricing has to reflect that. I see a lot of Atlanta-area quotes that miss this.
Out toward Hickory Flat the stock is older — 1970s farmhouses on Sixes Road with deep treads and shallow risers, sometimes a winder at the top. Those almost always need a curved rail. The newer Toll Brothers and Lennar builds in Mountain Brook and Crestmont are uniform geometry and a straight rail handles them in three hours flat. I have measured hundreds of Cherokee County stairs across every subdivision and the subdivision tells me the spec.
