Our Coverage Area

Stairlift Service Across Los Angeles County

Los Angeles County, CA

We serve all of San Fernando and the neighboring San Fernando Valley. Up in San Fernando Northeast near the 210, postwar ranches have straight runs that take a standard rail in a morning. The Maclay Avenue corridor mixes prewar bungalows and two-story Spanish Revivals whose 90-degree turns call for a curved rail. Around Pioneer Park and the historic Lopez Adobe blocks, 1950s cottages have stone-tile treads and tight landings, so we fit slim-rail models. Homes near Las Palmas Park and Recreation Park often have carpeted stairs or a stone front stoop that suits an outdoor unit. Every assessment is free, and we leave a firm written quote before we go.

Common Questions

Everything San Fernando Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding, no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

How much does a straight stairlift cost in San Fernando?

A straight stairlift starts at $2,800 installed. That covers the rail, seat, battery backup, and labor for a standard straight staircase - the kind found in most ranch and split-level homes around San Fernando Northeast. The price stays flat regardless of step count on a straight run, and you get a firm quote at the free in-home assessment.

What does a curved stairlift cost in San Fernando?

Curved stairlifts start at $9,000. The rail is custom-bent after a laser measurement that maps every turn and landing - common in the two-story Spanish Revivals along the Maclay Avenue corridor. Financing is available from $79/month for qualified buyers, reviewed with you during the assessment.

Is financing available for San Fernando residents?

Yes. Financing starts at $79/month for qualified buyers. Lenders offer 0%-interest plans for 12-18 months or extended terms up to 60 months with no prepayment penalty. We walk through the monthly numbers during the free assessment so there are no surprises before you decide.

Are there any hidden fees for permits or disposal in San Fernando?

No. The quoted price includes delivery, installation, the in-home assessment, and a demo ride. California exempts assistive devices like stairlifts from building permits because the rail mounts to the treads, not the structure. If we remove an old lift, that's included at no extra charge.

A word from Luis

San Fernando is a city I know block by block. The housing stock here runs from the 1910s through the 1970s - a lot of prewar bungalows off Maclay, two-story Spanish Revivals, and single-level ranch homes that still have a half-flight up to the front door.

Most of these stairs are narrow, so we use a slim rail bolted to the treads and we don't touch the plaster. In the older Lopez Adobe blocks I take extra care, and in the newer ranches near Recreation Park we're usually in and out in a morning. If your stairs are getting harder, call me and we'll find the right rail for your house.

Luis Ramírez, San Fernando
Your Next Step

Ready to get started? It's simple.

San Fernando has stayed its own city since residents voted to incorporate in 1911, and much of its housing has aged right along with the families in it. Whether you're in a prewar bungalow off Maclay or a 1960s ranch near Recreation Park, there's a stairlift that fits your staircase without tearing up the house.

Luis Ramírez brings 15+ years of Los Angeles County experience and knows the funding routes here: the VA HISA grant, the Medi-Cal HCBA Waiver, and CalAIM's home-modification benefit. The in-home assessment is free and ends with a firm quote. Call (800) 965-0350 to book yours.
