Stairlift Service Across Oklahoma County

Oklahoma County, OK

From the National Register-listed Heritage Hills Tudors and 1920s Mesta Park mansions with carved oak staircases to the Paseo Arts District Spanish Revival homes with narrow interior stairs and raised front entries, our team has mapped every housing stock in Oklahoma County. We know the 1960s brick ranches across Northwest OKC and The Village where the split-level layout demands a swivel-exit seat, and the Nichols Hills estates where HOA architectural review adds a week but never stops an install. We also staff dedicated technicians for the Tinker AFB corridor — Midwest City, Del City, and Moore — and the Edmond-Norman corridor, so you never wait on a tech driving across the metro at rush hour on I-35.

Heritage Hills Tudor — straight rail on dark oak open-tread staircase

Heritage Hills, OK Installed March 2026

A 1922 Tudor Revival in Heritage Hills with dark hardwood open-tread stairs and a hand-carved oak newel post the family's preservation covenant protects. We bolted a straight rail directly into the oak treads on the right side, color-matched the finish to the existing stain, and parked the beige seat at the bottom landing. Mrs. McCord rides from the ground floor to the second story without gripping the banister — the rail sits flush against the treads and clears the newel post completely.

Mesta Park mansion — curved rail with 90-degree bend at upper landing

Mesta Park, OK Installed February 2026

A 1925 mansion on a tree-lined Mesta Park block with a sweeping staircase that bends around a half-wall at the upper landing. We laser-scanned the geometry on the first visit and fabricated a curved rail that follows the 90-degree turn precisely. The brown-upholstered seat parks at the upper floor hallway so Mr. Whitehorse steps off onto flat hardwood instead of the top tread. Framed art on the stairwell wall stayed untouched — the rail is entirely self-supporting from the treads.

Northwest OKC brick ranch — straight rail in compact traditional stairwell

Northwest OKC (Warr Acres), OK Installed January 2026

A 1967 brick ranch in the Warr Acres area with stone-look tile treads and a compact stairwell next to a wooden sideboard Mrs. Tate's late husband built. The split-level layout made the space tight, so we specified the slimmest-profile straight rail and mounted it on the wall-side of the treads. The brown-upholstered seat sits at the bottom near the sideboard and its potted fern, folding flat when parked so the hallway stays clear.

Outdoor

Paseo Arts District Spanish Revival — outdoor lift on stone-paved front entry

Paseo Arts District, OK Installed November 2025

A 1929 Spanish Revival cottage in the Paseo Arts District with seven exterior steps up to the arched front porch and rough natural stone paving at the base. Mrs. Cleary couldn't manage the entry after her second hip replacement. We installed a weather-resistant cream seat on an outdoor straight rail with the full Oklahoma storm package — impact-rated motor housing, marine-grade upholstery, and UV-stabilized seat material. The stone paving at the bottom landing required custom anchor bolts to secure the rail base.

Midwest City veteran home — straight rail on carpeted stairs near Tinker AFB

Midwest City, OK Installed December 2025

A two-story home two miles from Tinker AFB with carpeted stairs and a landing area where Mr. Darnell had been confined to the ground floor for eight months after a service-connected spinal injury. We mounted the straight rail through the carpet into the subfloor — no carpet removal, no re-stretching. The brown-upholstered seat matches the carpet tones and folds flat at the landing. His VA HISA grant through the OKC VA Health Care System covered the full cost.

Platform Lift

Capitol Hill two-story — indoor wheelchair platform lift for full-time chair user

Historic Capitol Hill, OK Installed October 2025

A 1940s two-story in Capitol Hill where Sra. Hernández uses a wheelchair full-time and cannot transfer to a seated stairlift. We installed an indoor inclined wheelchair platform lift with a flat black anti-slip platform, yellow high-visibility safety edges on both sides, and interlocked gates at top and bottom. The entire consultation happened in Spanish — Luis walked her through every control twice. The orange-toned stairwell walls frame the white handrail cleanly, and the platform clears the lower doorway by two inches.

Common Questions

Everything Oklahoma City Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift actually cost in Oklahoma City right now?

Straight rails in standard OKC two-story homes run $2,600 to $5,200 installed. Curved rails — common in Heritage Hills Tudors, Mesta Park mansions, and Paseo Arts District Spanish Revival homes — run $8,800 to $14,800 because the rail is manufactured to your exact staircase geometry. Tornado-rated outdoor models with impact-resistant housings for raised porches run $4,000 to $7,200. Every written quote is honored for 30 days and includes installation, rail, seat, battery backup rated for 25+ full cycles, and the first service visit.

Are prices different in Nichols Hills or Edmond than the rest of OKC?

Equipment pricing is the same across the metro — we don't inflate quotes for Nichols Hills, Edmond, or Deer Creek addresses. What varies slightly is install labor for unusual conditions: historic millwork preservation in Heritage Hills and Mesta Park, HOA architectural review submissions in Gaillardia or Oak Tree, and storm-season rush installs after a May tornado damages the exterior. Every line item is on the quote. No surprise premiums.

Do you charge extra for Spanish-language service?

No. Every OKC assessment can be conducted in Spanish at your request — Luis handles most of our south OKC, Capitol Hill, and Stockyards City calls personally. Every printed quote, consent form, and operating manual is also available in Spanish. Zero surcharge, ever.

Is there a price difference between new and refurbished stairlifts in Oklahoma City?

Refurbished straight-rail units run roughly 30-40% less than new — typically $1,800 to $3,200 installed in OKC. We carry certified refurbished inventory with the same 2-year parts warranty as new. Curved rails are almost always new because they're custom-manufactured to your staircase geometry. During your free assessment Luis will show you both options side by side so you can compare the actual cost difference for your specific stairs.

A word from Luis

Most Oklahoma City families call me after something has already happened — a fall on the narrow treads in a Heritage Hills bungalow, a father who stopped going upstairs after knee surgery in a Nichols Hills ranch, a daughter in Dallas worried about her mother riding out the next ice storm alone in a Mesta Park two-story.

My job is simple: get to your house inside 24 hours, measure once, and hand you a written quote that's good for 30 days. No pressure. No upsells. En español si lo prefiere.
