Our Coverage Area

Stairlift Service Across Oklahoma County

Oklahoma County, OK

Del City is 7.6 square miles and the heart of our service area runs from Epperly Heights at SE 29th and Sunnylane out to Eagle Lake in the north and Carter Park to the west. Most of the housing stock is Epperly's original 1947-48 precut ranches — straight 12-14 step stairs, 34-36 inch treads, interior plaster walls. The later tracts in Midway Village (annexed 1963) have more split-levels that need a 90-degree curve. Tinker AFB sits right on the east edge, so a large share of our calls are retired military — we handle VA HISA grants weekly. Del City issues permits in about 3-5 days.

Common Questions

Everything Del City Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a straight stairlift cost in Del City?

Straight rails in Del City start at $2,800 installed. The Epperly Heights ranches typically take a 13-foot rail, which runs $2,800 to $3,400 with basic features. Curved rails for the Midway Village split-levels start at $9,000.

Are there hidden fees on a Del City install?

No. The quote includes rail, seat, motor, battery backup, labor, and the Del City building permit. No travel fee inside Del City, Midwest City, or the Tinker AFB corridor. The only add-on we quote separately is a powered folding rail if your stairs block a doorway.

Can I finance a stairlift in Del City?

Yes. Financing starts at $79/month for a straight rail on a 60-month term. We approve most Del City homeowners during the in-home quote — no dealer interest markup on top of the lender rate.

What does maintenance cost after install?

Annual tune-up is $189 and includes battery test, rail lubrication, and drive-gear inspection. The unit has a 5-year parts warranty and a lifetime rail warranty. Most Del City families never pay for a repair.

A word from Luis

Del City is a 1947 town. George Epperly bought 160 acres at SE 29th and Sunnylane and built the first 582 houses — most of what I install on today still sits in those original Epperly Heights tracts. They're compact, one-and-a-half stories, with straight 12-14 step runs and 34-36 inch tread widths. Nine out of ten quotes in Del City are straight rails.

What matters here that doesn't matter everywhere: tornado season and freeze-thaw. I brief every family on how to safely evacuate a parked rider during a tornado warning (fold the seat, head for the shelter — don't try to ride down with the power out). And the outdoor units I spec for Del City porches have to handle the January freeze-thaw cycle — I use the marine-grade fasteners and the sealed control board, same spec I use on coastal jobs.

I cover Del City, Midwest City, the Tinker AFB corridor, Valley Brook, and the east edge of Oklahoma City. Same-week install on most straight rails, 18-21 days on curved.

— Luis Ramírez, Del City
Your Next Step

Ready to get started? It's simple.

Del City families trust us because we know Epperly's original build specs — the plaster walls, the 1947-era stair geometry, the standard 36-inch widths. Most quotes are straight rails, most installs finish same-week, and we process VA paperwork on-site for Tinker AFB retirees.
