Our Coverage Area

Stairlift Service Across Oklahoma County

Oklahoma County, OK

From the 1940s brick ranches along the Tinker AFB corridor — compact two-bedroom builds with narrow 32-inch staircases that require our slim-profile rail — to the larger split-level homes near Rose State College and the Country Club Heights area with their mid-landing 90-degree turns, our team has measured and installed across every corner of Midwest City. We know which Soldier Creek-area homes have the low-ceiling stairwells that demand a fold-flat footrest, which Air Depot corridor streets from the 1960s have original oak treads that accept hardware cleanly, and which Old Town blocks near the original town center have the narrow entries that made two other companies say no. We also cover Del City, Nicoma Park, Spencer, Choctaw, and Forest Park at the same pricing — our service area is the full east OKC metro.

1947 Tinker corridor ranch — straight rail on original oak treads

Tinker AFB corridor, OK Installed March 2026

A 1947 brick ranch one mile from the Tinker main gate with original dark oak treads and an open-tread staircase. Mrs. Calloway had been avoiding the upstairs bedroom for three weeks after knee surgery at Midwest Regional Medical Center. Luis confirmed the oak treads were solid enough to accept mounting hardware without shimming, and the crew bolted a straight rail to the right side of the staircase. The beige seat parks at the bottom landing, flush against the wall. Mrs. Calloway was back in her own bedroom by the weekend.

Rose State-area split-level — single curved rail through a 90° landing turn

Rose State College area, OK Installed February 2026

A 1968 split-level near Rose State College with a 90-degree turn at the upper landing where the rail curves around a half-wall balustrade. Two competitors told Mrs. Patterson she’d need two separate lifts with a transfer landing. We laser-scanned the entire run, fabricated a single curved rail that bends smoothly around the turn, and parked the brown-upholstered seat at the upper hallway floor. Mr. Patterson retired from Tinker in 2009; the VA HISA grant covered $6,800 of the cost. One ride, zero transfers.

Soldier Creek cottage — straight rail on stone treads in a compact stairwell

Soldier Creek, OK Installed January 2026

A compact 1950s cottage near the Soldier Creek neighborhood with stone-tile treads and a wooden sideboard at the base of the stairs. Mrs. Owens needed a straight rail in a tight space where a potted plant and family furniture crowded the bottom landing. We mounted the rail along the treads, positioned the brown-upholstered seat so it parks next to the sideboard without blocking the hallway, and tested the swivel-exit at the top. The cozy cottage feel stayed intact — visitors barely notice the rail.

Outdoor

Country Club Heights — outdoor porch lift on stone-paved entry steps

Country Club Heights, OK Installed December 2025

A raised-entry home in Country Club Heights where the front porch sits four feet above the driveway — rough natural stone paving at grade level and carpeted outdoor treads leading up to the front door. Mrs. Nguyen’s 87-year-old mother had slipped twice on the entry steps during winter. We anchored a weather-resistant cream seat to an outdoor rail along the porch steps, sealed every component to IP55 for Oklahoma’s ice storms and summer heat, and installed a keyed lockout switch at the base. She rides from the stone entry to the covered porch in under 30 seconds.

Air Depot corridor — straight rail on carpeted stairs with landing

Air Depot corridor, OK Installed November 2025

A 1960s two-story home along the Air Depot corridor with carpet-covered treads running from a tiled entry landing to the upper bedrooms. Mr. Whitaker, a former Tinker maintenance worker with a service-connected knee injury, needed a rail that mounted cleanly through the carpet without tearing it. We bolted through the carpet into the wooden substructure beneath, matching the brown upholstery to the warm carpet tones. The seat parks at the landing near the wall-mounted light switches — family members walk past it without breaking stride.

Platform Lift

Soldier Creek — indoor inclined wheelchair platform for a veteran in a power chair

Soldier Creek, OK Installed October 2025

An indoor stairway in the Soldier Creek neighborhood where Mrs. Reyes’s father uses a power wheelchair and cannot transfer to a seated stairlift. We installed an inclined wheelchair platform lift with a flat black anti-slip deck, yellow high-visibility safety edges, and a white handrail along the indoor stairwell. The warm orange-terracotta walls and natural light from a stairway window frame the unit. He rolls onto the platform, locks the brakes, and rides to the upper floor without leaving his chair.

Common Questions

Everything Midwest City Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift cost in Midwest City, OK right now?

Straight rails in standard Midwest City homes — the brick ranches along the Tinker corridor, the 1960s builds near the Air Depot corridor and Country Club Heights — run $2,800 to $5,500 installed. Curved rails, which the split-level homes near Rose State College almost always require, run $9,000 to $15,000 because the rail is manufactured to your exact staircase geometry. Outdoor models for raised porch entries run $4,000 to $7,500. Every quote is written, honored for 30 days, and includes installation, rail, seat, battery backup, and the first service visit.

Are your prices higher because you serve the OKC metro?

No. Equipment prices are the same whether you’re in Midwest City, Del City, or Choctaw — we don’t apply metro premiums. What varies slightly is labor for narrow staircases in Old Town homes (31-inch width installs require a slim-profile rail and additional fitting time) or custom curved rail fabrication for split-levels near Rose State. We list every line item on the written quote so nothing is a surprise.

Is a stairlift cheaper than moving to a one-story home in Oklahoma County?

Real estate commission, closing costs, moving expenses, and the cost of finding a comparable single-story home in the current Oklahoma County market typically run $20,000 to $40,000 minimum. A straight stairlift installs in under four hours for $2,800 to $5,500. For most Midwest City families, the stairlift costs less than the agent’s commission on the old home — and it keeps you in the neighborhood you’ve lived in for 30 or 40 years.

Is a refurbished stairlift worth considering in Midwest City?

For straight staircases, a certified refurbished unit can save 30–40%. We carry factory-reconditioned straight rails with new upholstery, new batteries, and a 2-year warranty. For curved rails, refurbished is almost never viable because the rail is custom-fabricated to a specific staircase. If your Midwest City home has a standard straight run — most of the Tinker corridor ranches and the Old Town cottages do — ask us about refurbished inventory during the assessment. We’ll give you an honest comparison on the spot.

A word from Luis

Most Midwest City families I hear from waited longer than they should have — a spouse slipping on the carpeted run to the master bedroom, a Tinker retiree who’s been sleeping in the recliner since his hip surgery at Midwest Regional Medical Center, a daughter calling from Tulsa because Dad stopped going upstairs weeks ago.

My job is straightforward: drive to your house within 24 hours, measure the staircase with a laser, and give you a written quote honored for 30 days. No pressure, no upsell, no mystery pricing. Just the facts and the number.
