Our Coverage Area

Stairlift Service Across Washington County

Washington County, MN

We install across every Hugo subdivision and the surrounding lake areas. Victor Gardens and Victor Gardens East are the newest two-story builds on the west side — clean 14-to-16-foot straight runs, install in under four hours. Oneka Prairie, Oneka Place, and Oneka Estates have similar geometry. Older homes around Bald Eagle and the Rice Lake Reserve area often have winder stairs from 1970s ramblers — those are curved-rail jobs. Birch Tree Ponds townhomes typically need shorter straight rails, and the Creekview Preserve walk-outs sometimes call for outdoor rails on the deck steps. We also serve adjoining Lino Lakes, Forest Lake, White Bear Lake, and Stillwater.

Common Questions

Everything Hugo Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift cost in Hugo, MN?

A straight stairlift on a typical Hugo 14-to-16-foot run starts at $2,800 installed. Curved rails for the older Bald Eagle ramblers with winder turns run $9,000-$14,000 depending on the number of bends. Outdoor rails for Creekview Preserve deck installs start at $4,000.

Are there hidden fees on a Hugo stairlift quote?

No. Our written quote covers rail, chair, swivel seat, battery backup, install labor, and the 5-year warranty plus lifetime rail. Hugo does not require a residential permit for a stairlift install, so there's no city fee. The price you sign is the price you pay.

Does the Victor Gardens floor plan affect price?

Usually it brings the price down. The straight 14-to-16-foot runs in newer Victor Gardens, Oneka Prairie, and Birch Tree Ponds two-stories are the cleanest install we do — no custom rail bends, standard battery, 3-hour labor. That's the $2,800-$3,300 range.

Can I finance a stairlift in Hugo?

Yes. We offer 0% financing from $79/month on approved credit through our lending partner. A typical $3,400 straight install is around $94/month over 36 months at 0%. Application takes about 10 minutes during the survey.

A word from Luis

Hugo splits cleanly between the newer Victor Gardens and Oneka Prairie subdivisions on the west side and the older lake homes around Bald Eagle and Oneka Lake to the east. The newer two-stories almost always have a 14-to-16-foot straight run on carpeted treads, which is a 3-hour install and the rail bolts to the tread noses without touching the drywall.

The older lake cabins are tighter and quirkier — split-foyer entries off Oneka Parkway, narrow stairs in the original 1970s ramblers, sometimes a winder at the bottom landing. Those need a curved rail, custom-measured. Either way, I usually get to the survey within two days of the call and quote at the kitchen table.

Your Next Step

Ready to get started? It's simple.

Hugo stairlift jobs run on a tight Washington County schedule — most surveys happen within 48 hours of the call, and a straight rail on the typical Victor Gardens two-story is in and tested the same morning the truck arrives. We carry the rail stock, sealed batteries, and swivel seats locally so there's no two-week shipping wait, even with Twin Cities winter freight delays.

Call before 4 p.m. weekdays and the survey is usually scheduled for the next morning. No deposit to hold the appointment, no charge if the stairs aren't a fit.
