Our Coverage Area

Stairlift Service Across St. Louis County

St. Louis County, MO

I cover every part of Hazelwood, starting with the dense 1960s and 1970s ranch subdivisions along Howdershell Road — single-flight straight runs that almost always take a 14-foot rail without modification. East toward Lindbergh Boulevard the newer 2000s two-stories bring the half-landing turn that needs a curved track. Cold Water Creek homes near the elementary school have the original oak treads from the post-war years, while the Howdershell Park area south of the park gives us mostly carpeted stairs that bolt cleanly. Around Truman Park in the city's center the brick ranches off McKelvey Road are textbook straight installs, and the Musick Park corridor on the east side mixes 1970s splits with the occasional outdoor entry that needs an IP55 unit for Missouri freeze-thaw.

Common Questions

Everything Hazelwood Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift cost in Hazelwood?

A 14-foot straight rail in a typical 1960s Hazelwood ranch off Howdershell Road runs $2,800-$3,400 installed. The single-flight no-turn staircase common to the city's ranch subdivisions is the cheapest configuration we install.

Why is the curved rail more expensive?

The track has to be custom-bent in our shop to your exact landing geometry — typical for the newer two-stories near Lindbergh. From $9,000, including the heavier motor needed for the turn radius.

Is the in-home assessment free in Hazelwood?

Yes. We measure your stairs, check your power outlet, and write the itemized quote at your kitchen table — free across Hazelwood, Florissant, and Bridgeton.

Can I finance a stairlift install?

Yes — from $79/month on approved credit through our lending partner. A typical $4,200 install in the Howdershell corridor runs $79-$95/month over 60 months.

A word from Luis

Most of Hazelwood went up in the 1960s and 1970s as ranch subdivisions on quarter-acre lots — Howdershell, Cold Water Creek, the streets around Truman Park. Those are nearly always one straight run from the foyer to the second floor: a 14-foot rail, four hours, you're using your bedroom again that afternoon.

The exceptions are the newer 2000s two-stories closer to Lindbergh Boulevard, which more often have a half-landing turn that needs a curved rail. I drive Hazelwood, Florissant, and Bridgeton every week, so when somebody calls I can usually be on their stairs within 48 hours with a written quote.

Your Next Step

Ready to get started? It's simple.

Hazelwood's housing stock is mostly 1960s-70s ranches on quarter-acre lots — single-flight straight installs are the rule, curved rails are the exception. Most of my Hazelwood quotes come in between $2,800 and $3,400 for a straight rail in a Howdershell or Truman Park ranch.

Same-week measure across Hazelwood, Florissant, and Bridgeton. Straight from $2,800, curved from $9,000, outdoor from $4,000. Written quote at your kitchen table, no deposit to hold a date.
