Stairlift Service Across St. Louis County

St. Louis County, MO

We install stairlifts across every Ferguson neighborhood. Old Ferguson West is a National Register historic district with early-1900s Craftsman homes featuring original hardwood treads that take a straight or curved rail beautifully. Forestwood and Ferguson-Wabash have post-war brick ranches with basement stair runs as steep as 40 degrees. Lake Pembroke offers mid-century split-levels where a short straight rail reconnects the entry to the lower living area. Plantmore Ridge and Robert Superior feature raised-entry homes that often need an outdoor unit on the front steps. In The Knolls and Seven Hills, two-story colonials with carpeted stairs are our most common install. We also serve Jennings, Florissant, and Overland with no travel fees.

Common Questions

Everything Ferguson Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

How much does a straight stairlift cost in Ferguson, MO?

A straight stairlift in Ferguson starts at $2,800 installed, covering a standard 12- to 14-foot single-run staircase. The final price depends on rail length and options like a powered swivel seat or folding rail. We provide a firm quote during your free in-home assessment — no hidden fees.

What does a curved stairlift cost for a Ferguson home with an L-shaped staircase?

Curved stairlifts start at $9,000 because the rail is custom-manufactured to match your exact stair geometry. Many of the older Craftsman and Victorian homes in Old Ferguson West have 90-degree or 180-degree turns that require this type. Your quote includes laser measurement, fabrication, and a single-visit install.

Are there financing options for a stairlift in Ferguson?

Yes. We offer fixed-rate financing starting at $79 per month with approved credit. Many Ferguson families use financing to avoid a large upfront cost while still getting same-week installation. There are no prepayment penalties.

Does a stairlift increase or decrease my Ferguson home's resale value?

A stairlift is a removable mobility device, not a permanent alteration, so it rarely affects an appraisal. If you sell or no longer need it, we offer buyback and removal services. Many St. Louis County buyers in the 55-plus market actually view a pre-installed lift as a benefit.

A word from Luis

Ferguson has some of the most varied stair layouts I see anywhere in North County. Over in Old Ferguson West you get original 1910s–1930s oak staircases with tight 90-degree turns at the top — those need a custom curved rail every time. The Craftsman bungalows along Forestwood often have a steep, narrow run down to a finished basement, and I bolt a straight rail right to the treads in about three hours.

Lake Pembroke and The Knolls have more mid-century ranch splits — a short six- or eight-step flight from the entry down to a family room. Those are fast installs, but the low ceiling clearance means I have to plan the seat fold carefully. Plantmore Ridge has some raised-ranch homes where the front porch steps are the real barrier, and an outdoor unit with marine-grade powder coat handles Missouri summers and winters without a problem.

If you or your parent lives in Ferguson and the stairs are getting harder, call me directly. I will walk through the house, measure every angle, and give you an honest quote — no pressure, no surprises.
