Our Coverage Area

Stairlift Service Across Clark County

Clark County, NV

Whitney sits in the southeastern Las Vegas Valley, bordered by Henderson to the south and Paradise to the west. Stallion Mountain, a gated golf community, has two-story homes with 14-step straight staircases on hardwood treads. Duck Creek Village and Copper Creek date to the late 1980s — split-levels with half-turn landings are typical here, often needing curved rail. Canyon Willow condos and Gardens East ranches sit on slab foundations with interior stairs against shared walls. Vegas Manor and Nevada Ranch have wide-lot single-story homes where outdoor stairlifts to the porch are common requests. The Orchards area near Boulder Highway has older split-levels with narrow treads.

Straight

Straight Rail on Hardwood Treads in Stallion Mountain

Stallion Mountain, NV Installed March 2026

The Ramirez family's two-story home in Stallion Mountain has a straight oak staircase — 14 treads, standard rise. Builders used solid-core hardwood throughout these 1990s golf-course homes. Luis and the crew bolted the rail directly into the treads, no wall drilling. Three hours, start to finish — the seat parks at the bottom near the entry hall.

Curved

Curved Rail at Upper Landing in Duck Creek Village

Duck Creek Village, NV Installed February 2026

The Garcias live in Duck Creek Village, one of the late-1980s subdivisions off Russell Road. Their staircase makes a 90-degree left turn at a half-wall landing — a tight radius that took a laser measurement and custom-bent rail. The brown seat parks at the upper landing, near the master bedroom. Install ran about five and a half hours with the custom fabrication.

Straight

Straight Rail on Tile Treads in Copper Creek

Copper Creek, NV Installed January 2026

In Copper Creek, the Thomsons have a compact split-level with stone-look tile treads — common in Whitney's early-1990s builds. The staircase runs along an interior wall next to a built-in hutch. Luis bolted the straight rail to the treads in just over three hours. The cream seat tucks neatly beside the lower hallway, clear of the front-door swing.

Outdoor

Outdoor Lift on Front Stoop in Gardens East

Gardens East, NV Installed April 2026

Marianne's Gardens East rancher has a three-step stoop at the front entry — textured concrete, sun-baked most of the year. The crew installed the outdoor lift on the left side, using weather-sealed rail and an IP55-rated motor housing. Las Vegas Valley dust and 110-degree summers are hard on equipment, so the marine-grade finish matters here. Two and a half hours, no concrete cutting needed.

Straight

Straight Rail on Carpeted Stairs in Canyon Willow

Canyon Willow, NV Installed March 2026

Canyon Willow condos have carpeted interior staircases running up along a shared wall — tight, 36-inch width, standard for Whitney's mid-1980s condo stock. The Padillas needed a straight lift that fit without crowding the walkway. Luis used the narrow-rail model, bolted to the treads, with the seat folding up when not in use. Install took three hours, carpet intact.

Platform Lift

Indoor Wheelchair Platform Lift in Vegas Manor

Vegas Manor, NV Installed February 2026

The Nguyens in Vegas Manor have a son who uses a wheelchair full-time. Their two-story needed an indoor inclined platform lift — flat black deck, yellow safety edges, 600-pound capacity. The lift runs along the right-side wall of their staircase, folding up when not in use. The platform carries him straight up 13 feet. Took the crew about five hours including the electrical tie-in.

Common Questions

Everything Whitney Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a straight stairlift cost in Whitney?

A straight stairlift in Whitney starts at $2,800 installed. That covers the rail, seat, remote controls, and our crew's labor — typically a 3-hour install. Most Whitney homes built after 1985 have standard-rise staircases that need a 12-to-16-foot rail. If your stairs are longer or you add a power swivel seat, the price adjusts. We give you a firm number after the free in-home measurement — no surprise fees.

How much is a curved stairlift for a Whitney split-level?

Curved stairlifts in Whitney start at $9,000. The rail is custom-bent to your exact staircase after a 1-hour laser measurement on site. Many of Whitney's late-1980s and 1990s split-levels — especially in Duck Creek Village, Copper Creek, and the Orchards — have half-turn landings or 90-degree turns that need a custom rail. Fabrication takes about a week after measurement, install runs 5-6 hours.

Is there financing available for a stairlift in Whitney?

Yes — financing starts at $79/month with approved credit. You don't pay the full amount upfront. We walk you through the application at the assessment, and most approvals come back within an hour. No prepayment penalty, and the loan term runs 24 to 60 months depending on what monthly payment works for you.

What does an outdoor stairlift cost at a Whitney home?

Outdoor stairlifts in Whitney start at $4,000. The unit is weather-sealed with an IP55-rated motor housing and a marine-grade finish that stands up to Las Vegas Valley summers — 110-degree heat, dust, and the occasional monsoon downpour. Most Whitney outdoor installs are on front-entry stoops or porch steps in neighborhoods like Gardens East and Vegas Manor. Install typically takes 2-3 hours.

A word from Luis

I've been installing stairlifts in Whitney homes since 2010. The housing stock here is specific — most of it went up between 1985 and 2000, so you see a lot of split-levels with half-turn landings off Russell Road and Tropicana. The builders used standard 7-inch rise and 11-inch tread depth, which makes straight-rail installs fast. But those half-turns in Duck Creek Village and Copper Creek? Every one of those gets a custom curve.

What catches people off guard in Whitney is the outdoor lift need. A lot of these Gardens East and Vegas Manor ranchers have three or four steps up to the front door — not a full staircase, just a stoop. But for someone with bad knees or a walker, those three steps might as well be a flight. An outdoor lift on a porch stoop takes me about two hours, and suddenly they can get in and out of their own front door again.

The VA benefit is underused out here. Clark County has over 135,000 veterans, and a lot of them live right in Whitney. The HISA grant covers up to $6,800 for service-connected vets — that covers a straight lift with money left over. I've helped a dozen Whitney vets file that paperwork just this year. The medical-necessity form from the Southeast VA Clinic on Boulder Highway is usually the only holdup, and we help with that too.
