Stairlift Service Across Ocean County

Ocean County, NJ

Beach Haven West serves homeowners across Stafford Township's largest waterfront community — from the original 1957 cul-de-sac phases off Jonathan Drive to the lagoon-front homes of The Coves and Village Harbour. The Mill Creek Road corridor between Route 72 and East Point contains many of the oldest Cape Cod and ranch homes, where narrow interior staircases with hardwood treads are common. The Charles Boulevard spur features larger raised ranches built after Sandy, often with exterior staircases needing weather-sealed outdoor lifts. Homes here face salt air and nor'easter-driven flooding — every outdoor install along these lagoons gets marine-grade sealing and IP55 weatherproofing.

1958 Cape Cod Gets a Straight Lift in Village Harbour

Village Harbour, NJ Installed March 2026

The O'Briens' 1958 Cape Cod had a 30-inch stairwell with original oak treads — too narrow for the husband's walker after hip surgery. Luis installed a 12-foot straight rail in 3 hours, bolting directly to the treads. No drywall work, no repainting. The beige seat parks at the bottom near the sideboard, leaving the upstairs bedrooms fully accessible again.

Lagoon-Front Split-Level Curved Rail in The Coves

The Coves, NJ Installed February 2026

The Feldmans' lagoon-front home has a split staircase with a 90-degree turn at the half-landing — floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the water. After a one-hour laser measurement, Luis installed a custom-bent curved rail hugging the turn. The brown seat parks at the upper landing beneath a chandelier, out of the way of foot traffic to the bedrooms.

1962 Ranch with Original Tile Treads off Jonathan Drive

Jonathan Drive, NJ Installed April 2026

Installed in a 1962 ranch on the Jonathan Drive loop — original stone tile treads, tight quarters, a vintage wooden sideboard at the base. The homeowner had put off a lift for two years, worried it would crack the tile. Luis used a tread-bolted straight rail with no floor anchors. Three hours from unboxing to test ride, tile untouched.

Post-Sandy Raised Home Outdoor Lift on Mill Creek Road

Mill Creek Road, NJ Installed January 2026

The Rizzos raised their Mill Creek Road home eleven feet after Sandy — which left a 14-step outdoor staircase from ground-level storage to the main living floor. Luis installed a cream outdoor stairlift on the exterior wall, marine-grade sealed against salt spray and nor'easter winds. The rough stone paving at the entry handles the foot traffic; the lift handles the climb.

Carpeted Split-Level Straight Rail in Bayview Estates

Bayview Estates, NJ Installed May 2026

A Bayview Estates split-level with carpeted stairs — the homeowner's mother moved in after her husband passed and couldn't manage the stairs to the bedroom level. Luis installed a brown straight rail that blends with the beige carpet, tread-bolted with battery backup. Installed in 3.5 hours on a Tuesday morning. The mother used it unaided by lunchtime.

Platform Lift

Indoor Wheelchair Platform Lift on Charles Boulevard

Charles Boulevard, NJ Installed December 2025

The Millers' raised ranch on Charles Boulevard needed more than a stairlift — their son uses a wheelchair full-time. Luis spec'd an indoor inclined platform lift with a flat black deck and yellow safety edges, mounted to the stair treads along the main staircase. The white handrail runs parallel for ambulatory family members. DC motor, battery backup, 600 lb capacity.

Common Questions

Everything Beach Haven West Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a straight stairlift cost for a Beach Haven West Cape Cod?

From $2,800 installed. Most of the 1950s Cape Cods here run 12 to 14 feet of rail — about three hours from unboxing to test ride. The rail bolts to the treads, not the wall, so there's no drywall or paint work afterward. Battery backup included, runs the lift through nor'easter outages.

How much is a curved stairlift for a lagoon-front home in Beach Haven West?

From $9,000. The price covers a one-hour laser measurement on site, custom fabrication to your exact stair turn, and installation — typically 4 to 6 hours. Homes in The Coves and along Mill Creek Road often have split entries with 90-degree landings. Each rail is bent to match, not pieced together from segments.

Does an outdoor stairlift cost more because of the salt air in Beach Haven West?

From $4,000 — the marine-grade sealing and IP55 weatherproof housing are standard, not an upcharge. The rail, motor housing, and seat upholstery are all rated for direct salt-spray exposure. Raised post-Sandy homes with exterior staircases to the main floor are the most common outdoor install we do here.

Do you offer a heavy-duty stairlift option in Beach Haven West?

Yes. The heavy-duty model carries 600 lb — rated for bariatric use — from $5,050. Wider seat, reinforced rail, same bolt-to-treads installation. Common in the larger raised ranches off Charles Boulevard and in Bayview Estates where the stairwells are wider.

A word from Luis

Most of the homes I work on in Beach Haven West are those original '57 Cape Cods off Jonathan Drive and the Charles Boulevard spur — narrow staircases, often 28 to 32 inches wide, with hardwood treads that have seen sixty years of sand and salt air. The raised ranches along Mill Creek Road and in The Coves are a different story: many went up a full story after Sandy, which means long outdoor staircases. Those need the IP55-sealed outdoor rail.

I've installed over 200 lifts in this community alone. The lagoon-front homes in Village Harbour often have the trickiest geometry — split entries with a half-landing that needs a custom-bent curved rail. But we get them measured, fabricated, and installed inside a week. For the older residents here, that means they stay in the community they've lived in since the '60s instead of moving inland.

— Luis Ramírez, Beach Haven West
Your Next Step

Ready to get started? It's simple.

Beach Haven West isn't a place people leave — they've been here since the first cul-de-sacs opened in 1957, and they plan to stay. A stairlift means keeping the lagoon view from the upstairs bedroom, hosting the grandkids on the deck, and never having to sell the boat because the stairs got hard.

We serve every corner of this waterfront community — from the Mill Creek Road corridor to The Coves, Village Harbour, Bayview Estates, and the original Jonathan Drive phases. Free in-home assessment, same-week scheduling, and installers who know Stafford Township's housing stock inside out. Call or fill out the form to book yours.
