Stairlift Service Across Lehigh County

Lehigh County, PA

We install throughout Upper Saucon Township's villages. Center Valley colonials near the Promenade Shops and DeSales University usually take a straight rail on 36-inch oak treads. Friedensville and Locust Valley hold older farmhouses with narrow stairs and split-level runs. Spring Valley and Lanark mix ranchers and 1970s homes with carpeted treads, while Blue Ridge Estates, Afton Village, and Liberty Village include newer builds with open foyers and curved landings that need laser-measured custom rails. We also serve Salisbury, Emmaus, Coopersburg, Lower Saucon, and Bethlehem just beyond the township line.

Straight

Center Valley — straight rail on original oak treads

Center Valley, PA Installed February 2026

Mrs. Miller, 78, had been sleeping on a pullout couch in the den for four months after knee surgery. Her 1987 colonial had a straight run of dark oak treads. Luis bolted the cream-colored rail directly to the treads with no wall anchors and powered it from a hallway outlet with battery backup. She was back in her upstairs bedroom that evening.

Blue Ridge Estates — curved rail at the upper landing

Blue Ridge Estates, PA Installed April 2026

This 2020 build has an open foyer with the staircase wrapping 90 degrees around a half-wall at the upper landing, under a chandelier with modern iron balusters. Luis laser-measured the geometry before the rail was bent at the factory. The brown seat parks up at the top-floor hallway, out of sight from the foyer, following the half-wall so it reads like original architecture.

Friedensville — slim rail on stone treads in an 1890s home

Friedensville, PA Installed March 2026

This 1890s brick farmhouse had worn stone treads, a narrow 30-inch staircase, and a wooden sideboard at the base. Luis used a slim-rail model whose brown seat folds to 17 inches of clearance and anchored it into the stone with masonry bolts. Mrs. Wagner, 82, reached her second-floor sewing room for the first time since 2024.

Spring Valley — weather-sealed lift on a stone porch

Spring Valley, PA Installed October 2025

A raised stone porch with five steps turned treacherous in winter when ice coated the flagstone. Luis mounted a cream outdoor unit with IP55 all-weather gaskets and a powder-coated aluminum rail bolted to the stone, with a covered gear rack that sheds rain and snow melt. Through the freeze-thaw winter it ran every morning, and battery backup handled outages during storms.

Lanark — carpeted straight run in a 1970s split-level

Lanark, PA Installed June 2026

A 1970s split-level had a 13-step carpeted staircase in beige connecting the den to the kitchen level. Luis chose a brown seat that matches the carpet tones and ran the rail through the carpet into the plywood sub-treads with trim collars over the entry points. Mr. Hartman, a retired steelworker, made his own coffee upstairs the next morning.

Platform Lift

Locust Valley — indoor wheelchair platform lift

Locust Valley, PA Installed May 2026

This family needed access for their 22-year-old son, who uses a power wheelchair after a spinal cord injury. Luis installed an inclined platform lift along the main staircase — a flat black deck with yellow safety edges and white handrails on both sides, rated to 600 lb. The platform folds up against the wall when idle, leaving the stairs clear for everyone else.

Common Questions

Everything Upper Saucon Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding, no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift cost in Upper Saucon Township?

Straight stairlifts start at $2,800 installed; curved lifts begin at $9,000 because the rail is custom-bent; outdoor units start at $4,000; and heavy-duty models start at $5,050. The price covers in-home measurement, rail, seat, installation labor, and a 5-year warranty plus lifetime rail coverage. Center Valley colonials with standard 36-inch staircases usually take a straight rail, while Blue Ridge Estates and Afton Village homes with curved staircases land higher depending on turn count.

Is financing available for a stairlift in the Upper Saucon area?

Yes. Financing starts at $79 per month with 0% APR options on 12 to 24 month terms through third-party lenders, with no prepayment penalty. About half of Upper Saucon customers finance even when they qualify for a grant, since programs like the VA HISA grant reimburse after installation while financing covers the upfront cost.

Are there hidden fees in an Upper Saucon stairlift quote?

No. The quoted price covers everything: the in-home measurement, the lift equipment, installation labor, packaging removal, and a full operation demonstration. There is no travel fee anywhere in Upper Saucon Township or Lehigh County, and removal of an old lift is included.

How does a stairlift compare to moving to a single-story home near Allentown?

A straight stairlift at $2,800 costs less than one month's rent on a single-story apartment in the Lehigh Valley. Even a curved lift starting at $9,000 is a fraction of realtor commission, moving costs, and closing fees. Most Upper Saucon families find a stairlift lets them stay in a home they have lived in for 20 or 30 years.

A word from Luis

I cover Upper Saucon out of the Lehigh Valley, so I know the housing here cold. Center Valley is full of 1980s and 90s colonials with standard 36-inch oak staircases — those take a straight rail bolted right to the treads in about three hours. Get out to Friedensville or Locust Valley and you hit older farmhouses and split-levels with tight turns and carpeted runs that need more planning.

For the newer builds off Saucon Valley Road with open foyers and curved landings, I laser-measure every angle before the rail is bent at the factory. Whether it's a slim rail for a narrow 1890s stair or an outdoor unit for icy stone porch steps, I give you real measurements and a written quote — nothing you can't take to your family, your VA doctor, or a CHC care coordinator.

Your Next Step

Ready to get started? It's simple.

Upper Saucon sits at the quiet southern edge of the Lehigh Valley, with the Saucon Rail Trail running through Center Valley and DeSales University anchoring the township. Families settle here for decades — and when stairs start to feel like a wall, a stairlift keeps the whole house in reach.

We have bolted straight rails into Center Valley colonials, fit slim rails in narrow Friedensville farmhouses, and sealed outdoor units onto icy stone porches near Locust Valley. Call (800) 965-0350 for a free in-home assessment — Luis brings real measurements and a written quote you can review with family, a VA doctor, or a CHC care coordinator.
