When I pull up to a house on Toepperwein Road or in Coronado Village, there's a good chance the homeowner either served at Randolph or has family who did. The housing stock here tells the story — most of these homes went up in the 60s and 70s when the base was expanding, and nobody was thinking about stairlifts back then.
