Stairlift Service Across Henry County

Henry County, GA

Stockbridge stairlift installs span the city's distinct housing pockets. In Eagles Landing, curved rails handle the wide switchback stairs of 1990s-era craftsman homes. Avian Forest and Austin Park are dense with split-foyer layouts built between 1985 and 2000 — straight stairlifts fit these narrow, carpeted or hardwood staircases in under four hours. Lake Spivey homes often need outdoor lifts for deck-to-dock access or curved interior rails for multi-level lakefront builds. Pinehurst and Flippen have older ranch and two-story homes where tread-mounted rails avoid drywall work. We serve all of Henry County, from Monarch Village to the Bradbury Acres subdivisions.

Straight

Oak Staircase in Eagles Landing

Eagles Landing, GA Installed March 2026

The McAllister family's Eagles Landing home had a straight oak staircase, 14 treads. We mounted a beige straight rail to the hardwood treads with five bolt points. The seat parks at the bottom, folding up to leave the hallway clear. The mother used it the same afternoon to reach the upstairs laundry room she hadn't seen since her hip surgery.

Curved Rail at Lake Spivey

Lake Spivey, GA Installed May 2026

The Reynolds family's Lake Spivey home had a curved staircase with a 90-degree turn at the upper landing, oak treads, chandelier overhead. Luis laser-measured the geometry in an hour. The custom rail arrived two weeks later, bent to match the turn. Install took five hours. The brown seat parks at the top floor and swivels at the landing so Mrs. Reynolds steps off straight into the hallway.

Compact Split-Foyer in Avian Forest

Avian Forest, GA Installed February 2026

The Carter family's Avian Forest split-foyer had stone-look tile treads — 12 steps, narrow staircase, a wooden sideboard at the base. We mounted a brown straight rail to the treads, tight to the wall so the stairway stayed walkable. The sideboard stayed in place. Install took under three hours. Mrs. Carter, who'd been sleeping in the downstairs guest room for a year, went upstairs that evening.

Outdoor

Porch Entry in Pinehurst

Pinehurst, GA Installed April 2026

The Benson family's Pinehurst home had a covered front porch with rough stone paving — four steps up, exposed to Georgia humidity and summer storms. We installed a cream outdoor stairlift with IP55 seals on every connection. Marine-grade aluminum rail, epoxy-set anchors into the stone. Dedicated outdoor GFCI line, weatherproof switch. Mrs. Benson gets from her car to the front door without help, rain or shine.

Carpeted Stairs in Austin Park

Austin Park, GA Installed January 2026

The Davis family's Austin Park home had carpeted stairs — beige cut-pile, 13 treads, standard width. We mounted a brown straight rail, bolting through the carpet and pad into the oak treads beneath. The carpet fibers close back around the bolt points after removal. Install took three hours. Mr. Davis used the upstairs bathroom that night for the first time in four months.

Common Questions

Everything Stockbridge Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift cost in Stockbridge?

A straight stairlift in Stockbridge starts at $2,800 installed. The most common installs here — split-foyer homes in neighborhoods like Avian Forest and Austin Park — run 12 to 14 feet and land in the $2,800–$3,500 range. Curved stairlifts, which we see a lot in Eagles Landing and Lake Spivey homes, start at $9,000 because the rail is custom-bent to your staircase after a laser measurement. Outdoor lifts for porch or deck access start at $4,000. Heavy-duty models that carry up to 600 pounds start at $5,050. Every quote includes the rail, seat, installation, and a 5-year warranty with lifetime rail coverage.

Are there any hidden fees with Stockbridge stairlift installation?

No. The quote Luis gives you at the in-home assessment is the price you pay. It covers the rail, seat, all mounting hardware, labor, cleanup, and a walk-through to show you how the lift works. There's no charge for the assessment itself. If your stairs need a permit — most Stockbridge residential installs don't, but some HOA-governed subdivisions like Eagles Landing may require one — we'll tell you upfront and handle the paperwork.

How much is a curved stairlift in Stockbridge compared to a straight one?

Curved stairlifts start at $9,000 versus $2,800 for a straight rail. The difference is the rail itself — a straight rail is cut to length from stock; a curved rail is custom-fabricated to match your exact stair turns after a 1-hour laser measurement on site. In Stockbridge, we see curved installs most often in Eagles Landing homes with wide switchback stairs, Lake Spivey multi-level builds, and older two-story homes in Pinehurst where the staircase makes a 90-degree turn at the landing.

Can I get financing for a stairlift in Stockbridge?

Yes. Financing starts at $79 a month through our third-party partner. There are no prepayment penalties. Many Stockbridge families combine financing with a grant — for example, using the VA HISA grant ($6,800 for service-connected veterans) to cover most of a straight lift, then financing the remainder. We walk you through the paperwork at the assessment.

A word from Luis

I've installed stairlifts in Stockbridge for over 15 years, and every neighborhood has its own stair geometry. Eagles Landing homes from the 90s have wide switchback stairs that need a custom curved rail — we laser-measure on site and the rail comes back bent to match. Over in Avian Forest and Austin Park, it's mostly split-foyers from the 80s and 90s. Those are straight runs, 12 to 14 feet, carpeted or hardwood. We bolt the rail to the treads and the install's done in three hours.

Lake Spivey homes are a different animal — multi-level lakefront builds, sometimes with an outdoor flight from the deck down to the dock. We use the IP55-rated outdoor rail for those. I've also done several indoor platform lifts in Flippen and Pinehurst for families where a wheelchair user needs to get between floors. The deck carries up to 600 pounds and the yellow safety edges trigger an immediate stop if anything touches them.

Funding-wise, a lot of Stockbridge veterans don't know the Stockbridge VA Clinic on Medical Boulevard can process a HISA grant application — $6,800 for service-connected veterans, no repayment. Georgia's EDWP waiver also has a $10,000 lifetime cap for home modifications through Medicaid. Between those two programs, most families in Henry County can get a stairlift covered without paying out of pocket.

Your Next Step

Ready to get started? It's simple.

Stockbridge keeps growing — new subdivisions east of I-75, townhome clusters near Piedmont Henry Hospital, and the established neighborhoods around Eagles Landing and Panola Mountain that have been here for decades. Stairs don't get easier as the years go by, but a stairlift is a one-day install that gives you back the upstairs.

Call Luis at the Stockbridge office. He'll come out, measure your stairs, walk you through the funding options — HISA, EDWP, the Georgia Home Access Program — and give you a written quote on the spot. Most installs happen within a week of the assessment. Same price whether you're in a split-foyer off Jodeco Road or a lake house on Spivey.
