Our Coverage Area

Stairlift Service Across Blair County

Blair County, PA

We cover North Woodbury Township and all of Morrisons Cove with no trip charge. Along Cranberry Road and the PA-866 corridor, 1920s dairy farmhouses have steep straight flights that take a straight rail. In Martinsburg Borough, two-story colonials with landing turns often need a custom curved rail. The 1950s-70s homes on Piney Creek Road and around Orchard Lane usually take a straight lift to upper bedrooms. We also serve the cove villages of Fredericksburg, Curryville, Henrietta, Millerstown, Martinsburg Junction, and Homewood at Martinsburg, where stone porches and gravel-grade entries call for sealed outdoor units.

Straight

Cranberry Road — straight rail over dark oak treads

Cranberry Road, PA Installed March 2026

The Yoders' 1920s dairy farmhouse off Cranberry Road has fourteen original dark-oak treads in a single straight flight with no landing. The family had been managing with a cane for two years. We bolted the straight rail into the oak treads only, preserving the century-old wood, and the beige seat parks at the bottom near the kitchen entry.

Curryville, PA Installed April 2026

The Beilers' 1950s compact cottage in Curryville has stone-tile treads and a wood-paneled sideboard at the base of twelve narrow steps. The brown seat rail clears the sideboard with two inches to spare, set on masonry-rated anchors, and the trim cover was matched to the wood paneling. The whole install took three and a half hours.

Piney Creek Road — carpeted straight lift in a split-level

Piney Creek Road, PA Installed February 2026

The Millers' 1970s split-level on Piney Creek Road has beige carpeted treads and a tiled floor at the base of thirteen steps. The brown seat rail blends with the carpet tones, and we mounted the rail through the carpet into the sub-treads so the carpet was left undisturbed. A retired teacher with arthritic knees now reaches the upper bedrooms easily.

Common Questions

Everything North Woodbury Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding, no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a straight stairlift cost in North Woodbury Township?

A straight stairlift starts at $2,800 installed, including the rail, seat, battery backup, and roughly a three-hour installation. Most straight lifts in Morrisons Cove farmhouses run $2,800 to $3,500, depending on how long the rail needs to be for your flight.

How much more is a curved stairlift in Morrisons Cove?

Curved stairlifts start at $9,000 versus $2,800 for a straight rail. The older cove homes with landing turns each need a one-off rail, custom-bent after an on-site laser measurement that takes about an hour, so the price depends on the number of turns and the rail length.

Are there hidden costs for a North Woodbury install?

No. The quoted price is final and covers the rail, chair, battery backup, labor, and warranty. Extra rail length for a long farmhouse run is factored into the quote before you sign, and there is no separate delivery or trip charge anywhere in Blair County.

Do you offer financing in the Martinsburg area?

Yes. Financing is available from $79 per month through partner lenders, usually with same-day approval and fixed-rate, fixed-term plans and no balloon payment. Veterans should look into the VA HISA grant first, since it does not have to be repaid.

A word from Luis

I have worked on a lot of the older two-story farmhouses out here in Morrisons Cove, from the dairy homesteads off PA-866 to the brick houses in and around Martinsburg. Many were built between the 1920s and 1970s with steep flights, narrow landing turns, and original oak or heart-pine treads I will not scar, so every rail bolts into the treads, not the walls.

Central Pennsylvania winters mean a lot of freeze-thaw on stone porches, so outdoor lifts have to be properly sealed. I will tell you honestly whether your staircase takes a straight rail or whether the landing turn needs a custom-bent curved one.
