Stairlift Service Across Walton County

Walton County, FL

Miramar Beach's housing stock runs from 1970s-era Tang-O-Mar beach cottages with narrow interior staircases to the multi-story Mediterranean-style homes in Frangista Beach and the golf villas of Emerald Bay. Inside Sandestin Resort, Burnt Pine estate homes often have sweeping curved staircases with marble treads; Gulf Pines and Seascape townhomes typically run on straight carpeted or hardwood geometry. The high-rise condos and gated communities along Scenic Gulf Drive — Shipwatch, Avalon Beach Estates, Hidden Dunes — mostly have straight staircases, but the salt-air exposure makes outdoor and rust-resistant hardware a real factor. For wheelchair users, we install platform lifts in single-level-over-parking homes throughout the Sandestin and Emerald Bay areas.

Straight

Straight Rail on Dark Hardwood in Gulf Pines

Gulf Pines, FL Installed May 2026

The Morrisons own a 1990s Gulf Pines home with dark oak treads and a straight 14-foot staircase from the main floor to the bedroom level. The beige seat was mounted at the bottom landing, with the rail bolted directly to the treads — no wall work needed. Luis had it installed, tested, and demonstrated in three hours.

Curved

Curved Rail at Upper Landing in Burnt Pine Estate

Burnt Pine, FL Installed April 2026

The Callahans' Sandestin estate has a curved staircase with a 90-degree turn at the upper landing wrapping around a half-wall beneath a chandelier. After a one-hour laser measurement, the custom rail was bent at the fabrication shop to match the exact turn radius. The brown upholstered seat parks at the upper floor. The rail hugs the wall contour through the landing turn without blocking the hallway to the master suite.

Compact Straight Install in Tang-O-Mar Beach Cottage

Tang-O-Mar Beach, FL Installed March 2026

The Reyes family's 1970s Tang-O-Mar cottage has a narrow staircase with stone tile treads and a wooden sideboard at the base. At 29 inches wide, the stairway needed a slimline rail to leave enough clearance. Luis installed the brown seat unit close to the wall, with the rail anchored to the tile treads using a masonry bit and epoxy-set bolts.

Outdoor Porch Lift on Frangista Beach Gulf-Front Home

Frangista Beach, FL Installed February 2026

The Barretts' Frangista Beach home has five stone-paved steps from the driveway to the raised front porch, with direct Gulf exposure about 300 yards from the waterline. Luis installed a cream-colored outdoor unit with IP55 weather sealing and all-stainless fasteners. The rail was anchored into the stone pavers with corrosion-resistant epoxy anchors.

Carpeted Straight Install in Seascape Townhome

Seascape, FL Installed January 2026

The Kowalskis' Seascape townhome has a carpeted staircase leading from the tiled ground-floor entry up to the main living level. The brown seat was chosen to blend with the beige carpet tones. Luis bolted the rail through the carpet and padding directly into the wood sub-treads.

Platform Lift

Inclined Wheelchair Platform in Shipwatch

Shipwatch, FL Installed December 2025

The Okafors' Shipwatch home needed a solution for their teenage son who uses a manual wheelchair — the straight indoor staircase from the ground level to the main floor was the only barrier. Luis recommended an inclined platform lift instead of a vertical lift, which would have required cutting through the floor and pouring a concrete pad. The flat black deck with yellow safety edges rides a rail bolted to the treads.

Common Questions

Everything Miramar Beach Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift cost in Miramar Beach?

A straight stairlift for a typical Miramar Beach home runs from $2,800 installed. Curved rails for multi-story homes with landings — common in Burnt Pine and Frangista Beach — start at $9,000. Outdoor lifts for Gulf-front porches start at $4,000 with salt-air-rated seals and stainless hardware. Heavy-duty units rated for 600 lb start at $5,050. Every quote includes the in-home measurement, rail cutting, installation, and a 5-year warranty with lifetime rail coverage.

Are there hidden fees or travel charges for Miramar Beach installs?

No. The price Luis quotes at the assessment is the price you pay — no travel fees anywhere in Walton County, no upcharge for weekend scheduling, no surprise line items. The assessment itself is free with no obligation. We serve the entire Miramar Beach area from Tang-O-Mar through Sandestin to Shipwatch at the same rate.

How does Miramar Beach pricing compare to buying from a big-box retailer?

Big-box stairlift kits run $1,500 to $3,000 for the hardware alone, but they don't include measurement, cutting the rail to length, bolting it to your treads, or the electrical hookup. Most also use zinc-coated hardware that corrodes in Miramar Beach's salt air within 18 to 24 months. Our price includes the marine-grade stainless hardware, the install labor, the battery backup, and the 5-year warranty.

Can I finance a stairlift in Miramar Beach?

Yes. Financing starts at $79/month through our partner lender. No prepayment penalty. Most approvals come through same-day, and we can schedule your install as soon as you're approved — often the same week.

A word from Luis

Miramar Beach throws a couple of curveballs that don't show up in a catalog. On Scenic Gulf Drive, the older 1970s and 80s beach cottages in Tang-O-Mar have some of the narrowest interior staircases I've measured in Walton County — 28 inches wide in a few, which rules out a lot of off-the-shelf units. Then you've got the Burnt Pine estates inside Sandestin with sweeping curved staircases and marble treads that need custom rail bending after a laser measurement. The salt-air exposure on anything within a quarter-mile of the Gulf is the other one — outdoor lifts here need IP55-rated seals and stainless hardware, period, or the corrosion starts within two seasons.

Most Miramar Beach installs I do fall into three buckets: the Gulf Pines and Avalon Beach Estates homes where a straight rail bolts to hardwood treads in about three hours, the Frangista Beach multi-story new-construction homes where curved rails handle landings and half-walls, and the outdoor porch lifts on Scenic Gulf Drive properties. I tell every family the same thing up front — we come out, measure, give you a firm number, and can usually be back inside the same week to install. No travel fees anywhere in Walton County.

— Luis Ramírez, Miramar Beach
Your Next Step

Ready to get started? It's simple.

Miramar Beach sits on one of the narrowest parts of the Emerald Coast — just a mile and a half between the Gulf and Choctawhatchee Bay. That geography means a lot of the homes here are multi-story to catch a view, and the salt air is relentless on anything metal. We stock the right hardware for it, and we've done enough installs from Tang-O-Mar to Burnt Pine that we know the local building layouts cold.

Give us a call or fill out the form. Luis comes out to your place — no charge, no obligation — measures your staircase, and gives you a written quote on the spot. Most families in Miramar Beach have their lift installed the same week.
