Stairlift Service Across Gwinnett County

Gwinnett County, GA

Lilburn's 6 square miles cover distinct residential pockets, each with its own stair geometry. Parkview and Rivermist were built mostly in the 1980s and 1990s — two-story homes with straight oak-tread staircases common for a standard rail install. Hanarry Estates, constructed between 1968 and 1980, has split-level layouts where the stairs turn at a mid-flight landing, often calling for a curved rail. Old Town Lilburn near Main Street and Railroad Avenue holds the city's oldest homes, with narrower staircases under 34 inches where Slimline rails fit. Killian Hill and Camp Creek off Stone Mountain Highway have 1970s ranches and mid-century splits. Lake Lucerne Estates sits on sloping lots — we've put IP55 lifts on stone porch steps overlooking the lake.

Straight

Straight Rail on Dark Hardwood, Parkview

Parkview, GA Installed March 2026

The Mitchells' 1992 two-story Colonial in the Parkview school district has dark oak treads running 13 risers straight up. Luis measured the run — 14 feet, dead straight — and installed a beige-cream straight rail in one morning. The rail mounts to the treads with five lag bolts per bracket, no wall drilling. The chair parks at the bottom, tucked against the newel post.

Curved Rail at Upper Landing, Rivermist

Rivermist, GA Installed February 2026

The Chens' Rivermist home has a curved staircase that sweeps 90 degrees around a half-wall at the upper landing, with a chandelier through the center. Modern interior, high ceilings. Luis took a one-hour laser measurement of the turn geometry, and the rail was fabricated to the exact radius. The brown seat parks at the top floor, swiveling 90 degrees onto solid hallway floor.

Compact Straight Rail on Stone Tile, Old Town Lilburn

Old Town Lilburn, GA Installed January 2026

Cottage-style home a block off Main Street in Old Town Lilburn, built in the 1950s with stone tile treads and a compact 32-inch-wide staircase. A wooden sideboard sits at the base, leaving limited clearance. Luis used the Slimline rail, which mounts close to the wall and folds to 12 inches when parked. The brown seat blends with warm stone and dark wood trim. The sideboard didn't have to move an inch.

Outdoor Lift on Stone Porch, Lake Lucerne Estates

Lake Lucerne Estates, GA Installed May 2026

The Hendersons' Lake Lucerne Estates home has natural stone-paved entry steps — 10 risers from the driveway to the front porch. Luis installed a cream outdoor stairlift with IP55 weather sealing, sealed motor housing, and UV-treated upholstery. The rail has a corrosion-resistant coating against Gwinnett County thunderstorms and the occasional winter ice. The key-fob remote calls the chair from the drive.

Straight Rail on Carpeted Stairs, Nottingham

Nottingham, GA Installed April 2026

The Petersons' 1988 Nottingham build has beige carpeted stairs that match the interior tone for tone. Straight run — 12 risers — from a tiled foyer to a carpeted upstairs hallway. Luis installed a brown-seat straight rail that blends with the carpet and neutral palette. The brackets sit on the treads through small carpet cuts. The DC motor is silent on the carpeted run.

Platform Lift

Indoor Wheelchair Platform, Cedar Creek

Cedar Creek, GA Installed December 2025

The Reyes family in Cedar Creek needed a wheelchair solution for their son. Their 1990s home has a straight staircase with 13 risers — too many for a ramp, no room for a vertical lift. Luis installed an inclined platform lift: flat black deck on a rail bolted to the treads, carries up to 600 pounds. Yellow safety edges stop the platform if anything obstructs. White handrail alongside.

Common Questions

Everything Lilburn Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

How much does a straight stairlift cost in Lilburn?

A straight stairlift in Lilburn starts at $2,800 installed. That covers a standard straight staircase up to 16 feet — common in the 1980s and '90s Parkview-area two-story homes. The price includes the rail, chair, two remotes, battery backup, and the 3-hour installation. If your stairs have a landing partway up (like many Hanarry Estates split-levels), you're looking at a curved rail starting at $9,000 since the rail has to be custom-bent to your stair profile.

What affects curved stairlift pricing in Lilburn?

Curved stairlift pricing depends on the number of turns and the stair layout. In Lilburn, we see a lot of split-level homes in neighborhoods like Hanarry Estates and Four Winds — those typically have one 90° turn at a mid-flight landing, which keeps the curved rail in the $9,000–$11,000 range. Homes with two turns or a switchback staircase can run $12,000+. The rail is laser-measured on site (takes about an hour), then fabricated to match your exact stair dimensions. No two curved rails are alike.

Is there a price difference between indoor and outdoor stairlifts in Lilburn?

Yes. Outdoor stairlifts in Lilburn start at $4,000 versus $2,800 for indoor straight models. The outdoor rail and chair are built with IP55 weather sealing to handle Georgia's humid summers, heavy thunderstorms, and the occasional winter ice. The motor housing is sealed against moisture, the rail has a corrosion-resistant coating, and the seat upholstery is UV-treated. In neighborhoods like Lake Lucerne Estates where outdoor stairs lead down to the lake side, the weatherproofing pays for itself.

Can I finance a stairlift in Lilburn?

Yes. We offer financing starting at $79/month. The approval process is quick — most Lilburn applicants get a decision within a day. The monthly payment covers the full cost including installation, and there's no prepayment penalty. For veterans in Lilburn, we also help with the VA HISA grant paperwork (up to $6,800 for service-connected veterans), which can cover most or all of a straight stairlift.

A word from Luis

Lilburn homes pack a lot of variety into 6 square miles. You've got 1970s split-levels in Hanarry Estates where the staircase turns twice before the upstairs hall — those need a curved rail every time. Then over in the Parkview district, I see 1980s and '90s two-story Colonials with a straight run from the front door to the second floor, which is a 3-hour install top to bottom. The older homes near Old Town Lilburn off Main Street and Railroad Avenue have narrower treads — 32 inches in some cases — and we use the Slimline rail there. It mounts to the treads, not the wall, so the plaster and lath stays intact.

Weather matters here too. Our summers hit the low 90s with humidity that can make an un-air-conditioned stairwell feel like 100 degrees — the DC motor on these lifts doesn't care. Battery backup runs 6 hours after a power cut, which matters when summer thunderstorms knock out lines along Lawrenceville Highway. And in winter, even though Lilburn only gets an ice storm or two a year, that outdoor lift on a Lake Lucerne Estates porch has to be IP55-rated with a sealed motor housing. I've installed one on a stone-paved entryway there that's been through three winters without a service call.
