Stairlift Service Across Denton County

Denton County, TX

Lantana breaks into a handful of distinct subdivisions, each with its own stair geometry. Bandera — the largest pocket, built 2008–2016 — runs heavily toward dark hardwood treads and open two-story foyers. Barrington and Carlisle have the curved staircases; these are the larger homes near the golf course, and almost every install we do here is a custom-bent rail. Brenham and Camden lean a bit smaller, with more carpeted stairs and tighter landings — straight rails, fast installs. Bellaire sits on the eastern edge and has the most front-porch entries with exterior steps, where outdoor stairlifts come into play. Brazos is the newer single-story-heavy section, so we see fewer calls there, but the ones we get are typically platform lifts for wheelchair users.

Straight

Dark Hardwood Straight Run in Bandera

Bandera, TX Installed April 2026

The Morrisons' 2009 Bandera home has a classic Lantana staircase — dark oak treads, iron balusters, open foyer. Mrs. Morrison had been avoiding the upstairs after a near-fall on the hardwood. The beige straight rail went in on a Tuesday morning, thirteen treads, bolted directly to the oak. The rail finish matched the existing ironwork closely enough that the family's real estate agent later said it wouldn't hurt resale value.

Curved

90-Degree Curved Rail in Barrington

Barrington, TX Installed March 2026

The Chens' 2012 Barrington home has a curved staircase — 90 degrees at the upper landing, chandelier overhead. Mr. Chen had a hip replacement in January and couldn't manage the turn. Luis laser-mapped the curve in one hour. The rail came back from fabrication six days later and mounted to the treads in a single day. The brown leather seat parks at the top landing; the outer edge stays clear for walking.

Straight

Compact Straight Rail in Brenham

Brenham, TX Installed February 2026

The Powells' Brenham home is a 2006 build with stone-tile treads and a staircase tucked between the kitchen and the sideboard cabinet. The clearance was tight: 34 inches wall-to-wall. Luis brought the slimline straight rail, which folds to 12 inches when parked. The brown seat parks near the sideboard at the base. Three hours start to finish, and the tile treads took the bolts cleanly — no cracks.

Outdoor

Porch Entry Outdoor Lift in Bellaire

Bellaire, TX Installed May 2026

The Hendersons' Bellaire home has a stone-paved front porch with five steps up from the driveway. Mr. Henderson, 82, had stopped going out front. Luis installed an outdoor stairlift: IP55-rated motor housing, UV-resistant aluminum rail, weatherproof seat cover. The Lantana Community Association approved it in two days — the rail color (dark bronze) matched the porch railing. Mr. Henderson now sits on his front porch every morning with coffee.

Carpeted Straight Run in Camden

Camden, TX Installed January 2026

The Reyes home in Camden has wall-to-wall beige carpet on the stairs — thick pile, 2005 build. Luis explained that brackets mount through the carpet into the tread frame; a small slit is cut for each bolt, the bracket flange covers it completely. The seat was matched to the carpet tone — a warm brown on a tan rail. The tiled floor at the base gives the seat a clean landing spot.

Platform Lift

Indoor Wheelchair Platform in Carlisle

Carlisle, TX Installed April 2026

The Okonkwos' Carlisle home needed a platform lift because their son uses a rigid-frame wheelchair and cannot transfer to a seat. Luis installed an inclined platform lift along the staircase wall: flat black deck with yellow safety edges, white handrail, 600-lb capacity. It parks folded at the bottom when not in use, leaving the stairs fully walkable.

Common Questions

Everything Lantana Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift cost in Lantana?

A straight stairlift in Lantana starts at $2,800 installed. That covers 12 to 14 treads — the typical run in a Bandera or Brenham two-story. Curved rails start at $9,000 because every one is custom-bent to your staircase after a laser measurement. Outdoor lifts start at $4,000, and heavy-duty models (up to 600 lb) start at $5,050. All prices include the rail, motor, seat, battery backup, and installation by Luis. We don't charge extra for the assessment visit.

Why do curved stairlifts cost more in Lantana?

The curved staircases in Barrington and Carlisle — especially the homes near the golf course — have 90-degree turns and intermediate landings that standard straight rails can't handle. Each curved rail is fabricated to match your exact stair geometry. Luis comes out with a laser scanner, maps the turn points, and the rail is bent off-site. The fabrication adds about a week and the material cost is roughly triple that of a straight rail. But the install itself still finishes in a single day.

Do Lantana HOA rules affect stairlift costs?

Generally, no. The Lantana Community Association has been cooperative — interior stairlifts are completely unregulated because they're inside the home. For outdoor lifts, the association asks that finishes stay understated (no bright colors visible from the street), which doesn't add cost. We've done dozens of outdoor installs in Bellaire and along FM 407-facing properties without a single HOA rejection.

Can I finance a stairlift in Lantana?

Yes. Financing starts at $79/month. We work with several lenders who offer 0% interest for 12 months on approved credit. The application takes about ten minutes and you'll have an answer before Luis leaves the assessment. Most Lantana homeowners who finance put down 10–20% and pay the rest over 24 to 60 months. No prepayment penalty.

A word from Luis

Lantana's housing stock is what defines my installs out here. These are big, well-built homes from the 2000s — mostly two-story, mostly with open foyers and wide staircases. In Bandera and Barrington, I see a lot of dark hardwood treads with iron balusters. They look fantastic, but that hardwood is slick under socks, and a fall on those stairs is serious business. The straight-rail installs here go fast — three, maybe four hours — because the treads are solid and the framing underneath can take the bolts without a problem.

The curved jobs are trickier. A lot of the larger homes in Barrington and Carlisle have those sweeping curved staircases with a 90-degree turn at the landing. Beautiful, but impossible for a standard rail. I come out with the laser, measure every turn, and the rail gets bent to match exactly. Takes about a week from measurement to install. The Lantana Community Association has been easy to work with — they care about exterior appearance, so outdoor lifts on FM 407-facing properties need understated finishes, but nobody's ever blocked an install. I've put in over 200 lifts across Denton County. Lantana keeps me busiest because the homes are all the right age — old enough that the original owners are hitting their seventies, new enough that the structure is rock-solid for mounting.

— Luis Ramírez, Lantana
Your Next Step

Ready to get started? It's simple.

Lantana isn't like the older DFW suburbs where every house has a different stair pitch. These homes were built in a tight fifteen-year window by a handful of builders — so once you've measured one Bandera two-story, you've got a template for half the neighborhood. That consistency keeps costs down and install times short. Most jobs in Lantana finish in a single morning.

If your mom or dad is struggling with the stairs in their Lantana home, the first step is an in-home assessment. Luis comes out, measures the staircase, checks the tread structure, and gives you a firm quote on the spot. No pressure, no sales pitch — just a number and a timeline. Call or fill out the form above, and we'll be there within 48 hours.
