Stairlift Service Across Dakota County

Dakota County, MN

Most of the work I do in Inver Grove Heights falls in four pockets. Inver Wood Estates and Hilltop are 1970s ramblers and split-foyers with original carpeted oak stair stringers — straight rails go in fast. Arbor Pointe and the lots along Argenta Trail are newer two-stories with 90 degree turns at the upper landing, so they need curved rails. Salem Square and Argenta Townhomes have narrow stair runs (often 32-34 inches) where a swivel seat is mandatory. The bluff homes near Pine Bend and along Concord Boulevard often have outdoor entry stairs from the driveway down to a walk-out level — those get IP55 weather-sealed outdoor units. I also serve Roseport, South Grove, and the older Mississippi-frontage lots near Cahill Avenue.

Common Questions

Everything Inver Grove Heights Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift cost in Inver Grove Heights?

Straight rails on the 70s split-foyers in Inver Wood Estates and Hilltop start at $2,800 installed. Curved rails for the Arbor Pointe two-stories run $9,000-$14,000 depending on the turn radius. Outdoor units for the Pine Bend bluff homes start at $4,000.

Is financing available for Inver Grove Heights residents?

Yes. We offer financing from $79/month with approved credit through a third-party lender. Most Dakota County customers qualify for 0% promotional terms over 12 or 24 months.

Are there extra costs for Salem Square or Argenta townhouse installs?

Narrow townhouse stair runs (32-34 inches wide) sometimes need a swivel-seat upgrade — that adds about $400. No extra labor charge; same-day install in most cases.

Does the price include removal of an old stairlift?

Yes. If you have an existing unit from a previous owner, we remove and dispose of it as part of the install. No surcharge.

A word from Luis

Inver Grove Heights homes split into two patterns I see again and again. North of 65th Street you get 1960s and 70s split-foyers — six steps up, six down — and on those I usually drop a 12 to 14 foot straight rail right onto the existing oak treads, no structural work needed. South toward Arbor Pointe and the bluff lots near Pine Bend, the houses are newer two-stories with a 90 degree turn at the upper landing. Those need a custom curved rail measured to the millimeter.

The Argenta and Salem Square townhouses are the trickiest because the stair runs are narrow — sometimes 32 inches wall to wall. I bring a swivel-seat unit so the rider can pivot at the top landing without the seat blocking the hallway. Every install I do here is permitted through the Inver Grove Heights building department, and I know the inspectors by name.
