Our Coverage Area

Stairlift Service Across Garland County

Garland County, AR

We install across every Hot Springs neighborhood, from the Craftsman and Queen Anne homes in the Whittington Park Historic District along Whittington Avenue, to the 1890s mansions on Park Avenue near the Pullman Trailhead, to the African-American historic homes in the Pleasant Street Historic District east of Malvern Avenue. Lake Hamilton split-foyers, the bungalows of the Quapaw-Prospect Historic District, and the post-war ranches near Oaklawn Park each present different rail challenges. We also serve homes on Central Avenue near Bathhouse Row, the cottages above Whittington Park, and the newer builds out toward Mountain Pine. Most pre-1930 Hot Springs flights run 30 to 32 inches wide on hardwood — narrower than modern code, which is why fit matters.

Common Questions

Everything Hot Springs Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift cost in Hot Springs, AR?

A straight stairlift on a typical Hot Springs 13-foot run starts at $2,800 fully installed. Curved rails for the 90-degree Park Avenue mansion landings and Lake Hamilton split-foyers start at $9,000 because the rail is custom-fabricated to your exact turn. Outdoor lifts for porch entries start at $4,000.

Are there extra fees for installs in Whittington Park or Pleasant Street?

No. Our Hot Springs quote is all-inclusive: rail, motor, seat, battery backup, installation labor, and 5-year parts warranty. The City of Hot Springs does not require a permit for an interior residential stairlift, even in the Local Ordinance Historic Districts (Central Avenue and Pleasant Street).

Can I finance a stairlift in Hot Springs?

Yes. Financing starts at $79 per month with approved credit on a straight unit. We work with three lenders so you can compare APRs at the consultation. No prepayment penalty if you decide to pay it off after a HISA grant or insurance reimbursement.

How does the Hot Springs cost compare to assisted living in Garland County?

Assisted living in the Hot Springs area averages roughly $4,500 per month in 2026. A straight stairlift pays for itself versus seven weeks of facility care, and a curved unit pays for itself in two months — and you keep your home and your equity in this market.

A word from Luis

Hot Springs is the most varied housing stock I work with anywhere in Arkansas. The Whittington Park Craftsmans built in the 1890s have steep, narrow flights with original quarter-sawn oak treads — a straight rail is the right call but I have to drill through plaster lath to find studs. The Pleasant Street historic homes have similar bones. Then you cross the river to Lake Hamilton and you're in 1970s split-foyers with two short flights instead of one long one, and the right answer is two units, not one.

For veterans, the Hot Springs VA Clinic at 177 Sawtooth Oak Street can start your HISA paperwork. The grant runs $6,800 service-connected, $2,000 non-service-connected, one-time, tax-free. I bring the form to the consultation so we can fill it out together.

Your Next Step

Ready to get started? It's simple.

Hot Springs deserves a stairlift installer who has actually walked up the steep Whittington Avenue Craftsmans and the Lake Hamilton split-foyers. Cookie-cutter measurements miss the 30-inch tread widths in pre-1930 homes and the unusual landing turns in the Quapaw bungalows.

Call (501) 555-LIFT or request a quote and we'll book a no-pressure measurement at your Hot Springs address within 48 hours. If you're a veteran enrolled at the Hot Springs VA Clinic at 177 Sawtooth Oak Street, mention HISA on the call and we'll bring the paperwork.
