Our Coverage Area

Stairlift Service Across El Paso County

El Paso County, TX

I cover all of Horizon City and the surrounding El Paso County footprint. Mission Ridge on Eastlake Boulevard is a 4,800-acre master-planned community with newer two-story Pulte and Desert View homes — most need a curved rail. Paseo Del Este sits inside Mission Ridge with similar geometry. Horizon Heights around the Horizon Golf and Conference Center gives us custom-built homes from the late 1990s, often with a single straight rail run. Horizon City Estates and Eastlake Mesa Estates hold the 1990s stucco ranches with one straight stair flight. Sparks, El Paso Hills, Horizon View Estates, Lakeway Estates, and Agua Dulce round out the service area. I also cover Socorro, San Elizario, Fort Bliss, and Sunland Park, NM.

Common Questions

Everything Horizon City Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a straight stairlift cost in a Horizon City home?

A straight rail on a typical 13–14 step Horizon City staircase starts at $2,800 fully fitted. That includes rail, seat, motor, charge points, install labor, and a 5-year parts warranty plus lifetime rail. Eastlake Mesa and Sparks ranches almost always fall into base price.

Why are curved stairlifts so much pricier in El Paso County?

The half-landing geometry in Mission Ridge and Paseo Del Este two-stories needs a custom-fabricated curved rail. We photo-measure 12 reference points, the rail ships from the manufacturer 4–6 weeks later. That fabrication is the entire price difference. Curved Horizon City installs start at $9,000.

Are there hidden fees in a Horizon City stairlift quote?

Not from me. The written quote covers rail, chair, install labor, electrical hookup to a standard outlet, and packaging removal. The only variable is if your stair surface hides damaged subfloor — uncommon in 1990s+ Horizon City builds — and I show you and price the fix before drilling.

Can I finance a stairlift in Horizon City on a fixed income?

Yes — financing starts at $79/month with approved credit. For Horizon City residents on Texas STAR+PLUS or eligible for VA HISA, the lift can come at zero out-of-pocket. I check both paths in the free survey.

A word from Luis

Horizon City has two stair patterns. The 1990s and early-2000s brick-and-stucco ranches off Eastlake Boulevard and across Sparks usually have a single straight 13–14 step run, wide stringers, and dead-flat geometry that takes a standard rail in three hours. The new Pulte and Desert View builds in Mission Ridge and Paseo Del Este are more often two-story with a half-landing turn — those need a curved rail and 4–6 weeks of fabrication.

Two things every Horizon City veteran should know: the El Paso VA Health Care System at 5001 North Piedras Street processes HISA paperwork for service-connected veterans (up to $6,800), and for Medicaid recipients, Texas STAR+PLUS — not a generic HCBS waiver — is the program that funds stairlifts here. I will check both paths in the first 25 minutes.

Your Next Step

Ready to get started? It's simple.

Horizon City is growing fast — 7,500 households today, another 8,000 anticipated within a decade — and the stair geometry varies a lot by build year. The 1990s ranches in Eastlake Mesa and the new Mission Ridge two-stories need very different lifts. A 25-minute in-home survey settles which one is right for you.

I do not work on commission, do not push extras, do not take a deposit. I measure your stairs, write the quote, hand it over, and leave. If your call to me ends with you choosing not to install — totally fine, I will still answer follow-up questions a year later.
