Our Coverage Area

Stairlift Service Across Riverside County

Riverside County, CA

Home Gardens stretches roughly from Magnolia Avenue south to the 91 freeway, with the bulk of single-family stock built between Lincoln and Sampson. We install across the whole CDP — the ranch homes off Tolton Avenue, the smaller two-bedroom homes near McKinley, and the senior-heavy stretch around Garretson Avenue. The mobile home parks along Magnolia (Home Gardens Mobile Lodge area) usually take a 12-foot straight rail because the porch steps are short. Older tracts off Sampson Avenue and Vandermolen Drive often have a tight half-landing turn that needs the curved rail. We also serve the adjacent stretches of Corona — the Sierra del Oro hillside homes off Green River Road and the older Corona neighborhoods near Magnolia and Lincoln. Permits aren't required for residential stairlifts in unincorporated Riverside County, so most installs happen within 5 days of the quote.

Common Questions

Everything Home Gardens Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift cost in Home Gardens, CA?

A straight rail in a Home Gardens ranch home runs from $2,800 installed. Curved rails — common on the older Sampson Avenue split-levels — start at $9,000 because the rail is custom-bent for your exact stairs. Outdoor units start at $4,000 and heavy-duty (up to 600 lb) starts at $5,050. Quotes include rail, seat, install, and 5-year warranty.

Are there extra fees for unincorporated Riverside County installs?

No. Residential stairlifts don't require a permit in unincorporated Riverside County (which Home Gardens is part of), so there's no permit fee. The quote you get is the price you pay — no hidden line items.

Can I finance a stairlift on a fixed income?

Yes. Financing starts at $79/month with terms up to 60 months. We also work with the Medi-Cal HCBA Waiver and VA HISA grants ($6,800 for service-connected veterans, $2,000 non-service-connected) to bring the out-of-pocket cost down.

Do you offer rental stairlifts in Home Gardens?

Yes — rental is the right move if a parent is recovering from hip surgery and only needs the lift for 3-6 months. Monthly rental on a straight rail runs about $250/month with no install fee. We pull the rail when you're done and patch any anchor holes.

A word from Luis

Home Gardens is a CDP wedged between Corona and the 91 freeway, and most homes here were built between 1955 and 1985 — small ranches, split-levels, and a handful of mobile home parks off Magnolia Avenue. The stairs are narrow (32-34 inches between walls is typical) and the upper landings are tight, which is why I push the slim-fold seat on almost every quote in this ZIP.

I've installed lifts on stucco-walled stairwells off Tolton Avenue, on the back-yard patio steps in the older tracts near Sampson Avenue, and on the carpeted runs in the homes off Lincoln. The 92879 housing stock holds rails well — the original framing here is real 2x4 douglas fir, not engineered lumber, so anchors bite hard. If you're worried about the install scratching your wall paint, don't be. We bring touch-up putty and the rail leaves no studs exposed.

Your Next Step

Ready to get started? It's simple.

Home Gardens is a small CDP with a real housing-stock pattern: tight stairs, narrow landings, and original framing that holds anchors well. We've quoted enough homes here to know which models fit which floor plans on sight.

If you've got a parent in one of the 92879 ranch homes who's started taking the stairs one at a time, call us. Most jobs we see in Home Gardens take 3-4 hours start to finish, and the rail comes off cleanly when you sell the house.
