Straight Stairlift — Corona, CA

Straight Stairlift

Most common · From $3,200

The standard for Corona's ranch homes and two-story tract builds — from North Corona to Eagle Glen. A single straight run, the rail bolts to your stair treads (never into the wall), the seat and footrest fold up out of the way, and the battery backup keeps you moving through Inland Empire heat waves when the grid strains. On the older ranches in North Corona and El Cerrito, we anchor into original hardwood or concrete treads with the right fastener for the substrate — not a one-size-fits-all bracket. Most Corona installs wrap in under 4 hours.

Starting at $3,200 installed

What's Included

  • Battery backup for power outages
  • Swivel seat with safety lock
  • Two wireless remote controls
  • Soft start and soft stop motion
  • Fold-up seat, arms, and footrest
  • 10-year motor & gearbox warranty

Compared to Alternatives

vs Curved: 3x less expensive and installed in one visit. vs Home elevator: 10-15x less cost and no construction. vs Moving bedroom downstairs: Keeps your home exactly as it is.

Stairlift Service Across Riverside County

Riverside County, CA

From the 1960s ranch blocks of North Corona — where quarter-acre lots with original hardwood stairs are our most common layout — to the master-planned communities of Eagle Glen and Dos Lagos with wide builder-grade staircases and HOA boards we've already worked with, our team has mapped every neighborhood in the Circle City. El Cerrito's 1970s two-stories often have the 90-degree landing turns that require curved rails. Central Corona bungalows inside the Grand Boulevard circle have narrow stairwells with original stucco trim that need our slim-profile model. Sierra Del Oro homes feature dramatic raised front entries with stone-paving steps that demand outdoor-rated installs with UV-hardened coatings. South Corona is the newest part of the city, but families moving parents into upstairs guest bedrooms in 2000s-era two-stories are now our fastest-growing segment.

1968 North Corona ranch — straight rail on original oak hardwood treads

North Corona, CA Installed March 2026

A 1968 ranch in North Corona with a straight 14-step staircase and original honey-oak hardwood treads the family had maintained for nearly 60 years. Mrs. Gutierrez was adamant — no carpet, no runner, no adhesive residue on the oak. We mounted the rail brackets with recessed stainless bolts directly into the treads, countersunk flush so you can't feel them underfoot. The chair parks at the bottom landing folded flat against the wall, keeping the full entry hallway width open. Mr. Gutierrez tested it twice before we packed up, declared it quieter than the garage door opener, and rode it upstairs to take a nap.

1974 El Cerrito two-story — curved rail with 90-degree upper landing turn

El Cerrito, CA Installed February 2026

A 1974 two-story in El Cerrito with 10 steps from the foyer, a 90-degree turn at the upper landing, and three more steps to the bedroom hallway. The landing turn made a straight rail impossible — two other companies quoted two separate lifts with a mid-transfer. We laser-scanned the full staircase, fabricated a single curved rail that takes Mr. Sandoval from the foyer tile to the upstairs carpet in one continuous ride, and installed a swivel-exit seat at the top so he steps off onto the hallway floor facing forward. The seat parks at the upper landing in a modern, upscale-feeling interior with the curved rail bending cleanly around the half-wall.

Central Corona bungalow — straight rail in compact stairwell alongside original stucco trim

Central Corona, CA Installed January 2026

A 1948 bungalow inside Corona's original Circle City grid, two blocks from Grand Boulevard, with narrow stairs flanked by textured stucco walls and original decorative stone trim at the base. The staircase was 27 inches wide — barely enough for a standard rail and walking clearance. We fitted the slim-profile model with the seat at the bottom near the wooden sideboard in the cozy traditional-style entry. The treads were original fir with a compact, cottage feel — we sealed each bracket mount and ran the rail along the stone-trim side so the opposite wall stayed completely unmarked. Mrs. Flores is 84, has lived in this house since 1969, and told us she intends to stay.

Sierra Del Oro front entry — weather-sealed outdoor lift on stone paving steps

Sierra Del Oro, CA Installed December 2025

A 1990s Sierra Del Oro home with a dramatic front entry — seven stone-paving steps rising from the circular driveway to the covered porch, exposed to full Southern California sun. Mr. Thornton is a retired Marine who served at Camp Pendleton and qualified for a HISA grant through the Corona VA Clinic on Teller Street. We mounted the outdoor rail into the stone pavers with marine-grade stainless anchors, UV-coated every exposed surface, and sealed the motor housing to IP55. The cream-colored weather-resistant seat sits at the rough stone paving at the base, with natural daylight from above and the front porch visible at the top of the ride.

Eagle Glen two-story — straight rail over builder-grade carpet and pad

Eagle Glen, CA Installed November 2025

A 2003 two-story in Eagle Glen with a straight 15-step staircase covered in builder-grade carpet over a standard pad. The brown-upholstered seat sits on the carpeted stairs at the landing, matching the warm carpet tones. We cut carpet plugs at each bracket point, mounted directly to the plywood substructure, and sealed the carpet edges so the surrounding pile stays flat. The stairway is wide enough that the family walks past the folded chair without turning sideways. Mrs. Kim's mother rides it four or five times a day and joins the family for every meal.

Platform Lift

South Corona home — inclined wheelchair platform lift with yellow safety edges on indoor stairway

South Corona, CA Installed October 2025

A 2006 two-story in South Corona where Mr. Reeves uses a power wheelchair after a construction accident. The indoor stairway between the family room and the upper landing — warm orange-toned walls, a window at the turn — was the barrier. We installed an inclined wheelchair platform lift that rides along the stair treads on a rail, with a flat black anti-slip platform bordered by high-visibility yellow safety edges. The white handrail folds down for boarding and locks during the ride. Unlike a seated stairlift, Mr. Reeves wheels directly onto the platform without transferring. He filed through the Medi-Cal HCBA waiver with our help — we coordinated the Environmental Accessibility Adaptation paperwork with the Riverside County HCBA waiver agency.

Common Questions

Everything Corona Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift cost in Corona right now?

Straight rails in standard Corona homes — the ranches in North Corona, the two-stories in Eagle Glen, the 1970s builds in El Cerrito — run $2,800 to $5,500 installed. Curved rails for split-levels and homes with landing turns run $9,000 to $15,000 because the rail is manufactured to your exact staircase geometry. Outdoor models for raised front entries run $4,000 to $7,500. Every quote is written, honored for 30 days, and includes installation, rail, seat, battery backup, and the first service visit.

Are prices different in Corona than in LA or Orange County?

Equipment prices are the same across Southern California — we don't inflate quotes based on zip code. What can vary slightly is install labor for unusual conditions: narrow stairwells in 1940s Circle City bungalows near Grand Boulevard, homes where we need to route a dedicated 120V circuit, or outdoor installs where extreme Inland Empire heat requires upgraded UV coatings and heat-rated battery cells. We itemize everything on the written quote. No surprises.

Do you charge extra for Spanish-language consultations?

No. Every Corona assessment can be conducted in Spanish at your request — Luis is bilingual and has walked dozens of Inland Empire families through every line of the paperwork in their preferred language. Every printed quote, consent form, and operating manual is available in Spanish. Zero surcharge. Corona's Hispanic community is over 50% of the population — bilingual service is baseline, not a special request.

Any hidden fees for HOA installs in Eagle Glen or Dos Lagos?

Our quote includes the HOA paperwork we handle for you. We've worked with the Eagle Glen community association, Dos Lagos HOA, Sierra Del Oro, and several 55+ communities across western Riverside County — the FEHA reasonable-accommodation letters are already templated. Under California's Fair Employment and Housing Act, your HOA must grant reasonable accommodations for documented disabilities. If a board requires its own engineer's letter or formal ARB review, we tell you before we start.

A word from Luis

Most Corona families call me after a scare — a slip on the tile landing in a North Corona ranch, a parent who hasn't been upstairs in the Eagle Glen house since the hip replacement, a son in Orange County worried about his father alone in the El Cerrito home he built in 1972. My job is simple: drive to your house within 24 hours, measure once, and give you a price that's honored for 30 days. No pressure. No upsells. En español si lo prefiere.
