Our Coverage Area

Stairlift Service Across Bucks County

Bucks County, PA

Hilltown Township covers about 27 square miles of Upper Bucks County and is built around six historic villages, each with different housing patterns. Blooming Glen — originally Moyer's Store, post-office in 1864 — has the township's oldest farmhouses with steep narrow back stairs. Line Lexington, straddling the Montgomery County line, runs 1920s colonials with standard 10-inch tread depths. Mount Pleasant and Fair Hill hold mid-century ranches and split-foyer homes with carpeted straight runs. Hilltown village proper, around the Creamery Road township office, mixes pre-war farmhouses with newer 1990s subdivisions. Deep Run and Silverdale village edge into the steeper terrain along the East Branch Perkiomen Creek. We also serve neighbors in Dublin, Sellersville, and Perkasie.

Common Questions

Everything Hilltown Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

How much does a stairlift cost in Hilltown Township, PA?

A straight rail in a Line Lexington colonial runs $2,800-$3,400 installed. A curved rail for a Blooming Glen farmhouse with a 90-degree upper turn is $9,000-$13,500 depending on bend angle and rail length. We give you a fixed price after measuring — never an estimate that grows.

Is sales tax charged on a Hilltown stairlift?

Pennsylvania exempts sales tax on prosthetic and orthopedic devices, including stairlifts, when accompanied by a written prescription from a licensed physician (61 Pa. Code §52.1). We collect the prescription before delivery — your invoice shows tax exempted.

What does monthly financing look like in Hilltown?

Our standard plan starts at $79/month for straight rails over 36 months with no down payment. Most Hilltown homeowners get an answer the same day we submit the application during the in-home measurement.

Are there hidden costs after installation?

No. The Hilltown quote includes the rail, seat, installation labor, first-year service plan, and old-lift removal if any. The 5-year mechanical warranty and lifetime rail warranty are standard.

A word from Luis

Hilltown is not one community — it is six historic villages strung along Bethlehem Pike and Route 113, each with its own housing era. Blooming Glen and Mount Pleasant have the 1850s-1880s farmhouses with the steep, narrow back stairs that were never built for a 70-year-old. Line Lexington, on the Montgomery County line, runs more 1920s colonials with standard tread depths. Silverdale and Dublin sit just outside the township but most of my route covers them too.

The single biggest mistake I see Hilltown homeowners make is assuming a curved rail is the only option for a turn. On a Blooming Glen farmhouse with a tight 90-degree turn at the upper landing, two short straight rails with a transfer landing run about $5,500 versus $11,000 for one curved — same daily comfort, much faster install. I write every Hilltown quote with the OBRA Waiver paperwork and the Coatesville VA HISA submission already filled in if either applies. Coatesville VA Medical Center on Black Horse Hill Road is your prescribing facility — I have walked HISA packets through there for Vietnam-era veterans up and down Route 113.

— Luis Ramírez, Hilltown
Your Next Step

Ready to get started? It's simple.

Hilltown's six villages each have their own staircase reality — there is no single "Hilltown stairlift." The 1850s Blooming Glen farmhouse needs different hardware than the 1990s Mount Pleasant subdivision. We measure on-site, write a fixed price, and prepare your OBRA Waiver, CHC Waiver, or Coatesville VA HISA paperwork before installation day if you qualify.

Most straight rails are installed within five business days of the measurement; curved rails ship in three to four weeks. Schedule a same-week visit and I will be on your stairs by Friday.
