Stairlift Service Across Allegheny County

Allegheny County, PA

Hampton Township is built around four named communities on hilly wooded ground. Allison Park, the largest, has 1960s–1980s bi-levels and split-foyers along McCully Road and Duncan Avenue — half-landings drive most of our curved rail jobs here. Gibsonia in the north has newer colonials on quarter-acre lots with full 36-inch tread widths. Elfinwild south of Route 8 mixes ranches and capes with original hardwood treads — ideal for a straight rail bolted directly into the oak. Wildwood near the Allegheny–Butler county line is more rural with longer driveways and detached garages where outdoor lifts get specced for grade-level basement entries. Service extends to Richland, Ross Township, Pine, Franklin Park, McCandless, and Indiana Township within 8 miles.

Common Questions

Everything Hampton Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift cost in Hampton, PA?

Straight installs in Elfinwild and older Allison Park homes start at $2,800. Curved rails for the bi-level half-landings common throughout Hampton Township start at $9,000. Outdoor IP55 lifts for Wildwood and Gibsonia start at $4,000. Heavy-duty 600 lb units start at $5,050. Every quote is fixed and written before we start.

Are there extra fees for the Hampton Township hilly terrain?

No. Custom curved rail fabrication is included in the curved base price for the bi-level and split-foyer geometry common along McCully Road and Duncan Avenue. We do not upcharge for half-landings or for driving into the Route 8 corridor. The written quote you receive covers labor, rail, and all hardware.

How does Hampton pricing compare to Pittsburgh's North Hills suburbs?

Same base price across Allegheny County. The cost driver is your stair geometry, not your zip code. A 14 ft straight in Hampton costs the same as a 14 ft straight in Wexford or Pine. Curved rails are priced per laser-measured inch of custom fabrication, the same formula we use across all Pittsburgh-area municipalities.

Does the $79/month financing apply to Hampton homeowners?

Yes. We offer 0% APR financing from $79/month through our partner lender, with approval in about 10 minutes at the in-home visit. A typical Allison Park curved install runs about $250–$280/month over 36 months with no down payment and no prepayment penalty.

A word from Luis

Hampton Township is hilly. Most of the housing stock is split-level or bi-level — basement to first floor, first to second — with a half-landing in the middle. That means more curved-rail jobs here than the Pittsburgh average. I bring laser measuring gear to every Hampton first visit because the half-landings between McCully Road and Hardies Road never measure the same twice. On McCully Road alone I have measured six different half-landing geometries in adjacent houses built the same decade.

Winter is the other Hampton variable. We are above 1,000 feet elevation in parts of Gibsonia and Wildwood, and freeze-thaw cycles work hardware loose if it is not torqued correctly. I use Loctite on every mounting bolt, schedule the first annual inspection for early March after the freeze-thaw season, and keep a battery quick-release tag in every install for power outages on Route 8. Every Hampton homeowner gets the same freeze-tested setup regardless of rail type.

— Luis Ramírez, Hampton
Your Next Step

Ready to get started? It's simple.

Hampton Township moves on Pittsburgh's calendar. Most local installs happen September through November, before the first hard freeze, so the rail mounts cure before freeze-thaw cycles start. We schedule curved-rail laser measurements first because our fabrication lead time is 2–3 weeks — book early if you want a Gibsonia colonial or an Allison Park bi-level curved rail done before December.

Whether you are in an Allison Park bi-level, a Gibsonia colonial, or an Elfinwild ranch, we will measure the stairs, walk through the CHC Waiver and HISA paperwork with you, and leave a fixed written price the same day. No travel fee inside Allegheny County.
