Our Coverage Area

Stairlift Service Across Tarrant County

Tarrant County, TX

From the narrow stairwells of Historic Downtown’s 1920s Craftsman bungalows — where we fit compact-profile rails under original archways without touching a single spindle — to the wide-foyer two-stories of Stone Bridge Estates where landing turns require custom curved rails, our team has measured and installed throughout every Grapevine neighborhood. We know which Oak Creek Estates lots sit on hillside grades that require reinforced outdoor anchoring, which Nash Farm ranchers have the split-level garage entry a straight rail solves in one afternoon, and which Parr Park area lots are too narrow for a traditional ramp but ideal for an inclined platform lift. Grapevine sits at the center of the mid-cities corridor, so we also cover Southlake, Colleyville, Euless, and Bedford with the same crew — no travel premiums, same service-day availability.

Straight

Historic Downtown bungalow — straight rail on original 1920s hardwood treads

Historic Downtown, TX Installed March 2026

A 1923 Craftsman bungalow two blocks from Grapevine’s Main Street with the original narrow-tread oak staircase. Mrs. Harrington had raised three children here and was not leaving because of a bad hip. The treads were original — 3.5-inch-wide risers, slightly irregular spacing from 100 years of settling. We measured each tread individually, spaced the rail brackets around the irregularities, and matched the rail finish to the honey-oak tone of the original woodwork. The chair parks at the lower landing and clears the narrow archway into the downstairs hallway by two inches.

Stone Bridge Estates colonial — curved rail with 90-degree upper landing turn

Stone Bridge Estates, TX Installed February 2026

A 2004 colonial in Stone Bridge Estates with an open two-story foyer and a staircase that turns 90 degrees at the upper landing before reaching the master suite hallway. Mr. Whitmore’s wife uses a rollator and needed to reach the upstairs bedroom independently after hip replacement surgery at Texas Health Harris Methodist. We digitally scanned the full run on the first visit, fabricated a curved rail in 11 days, and installed in a single afternoon. The swivel-exit seat at the top rotates so she steps directly onto the hallway hardwood instead of balancing on the top tread — the detail that gave the family the most confidence in daily use.

Silverlake cottage — straight rail on stone treads in a compact traditional stairway

Silverlake, TX Installed January 2026

A compact traditional home in Silverlake with stone-tiled treads and a wooden sideboard at the base of the staircase. The stairway was narrow and the family wanted the rail to coexist with the existing furniture without blocking the hallway. We bolted the straight rail into the stone treads using masonry anchors rated for the tile thickness, ran the track along the wall side, and parked the seat at the bottom landing next to the sideboard. The folding footrest clears the potted plant on the cabinet by several inches. The cottage layout meant every bracket placement had to account for tight clearances, but the final run fits the space without crowding the entry.

Outdoor

Oak Creek Estates — outdoor porch lift on stone-paved front entry

Oak Creek Estates, TX Installed December 2025

A raised front porch entry at the Torres home in Oak Creek Estates with rough natural stone paving at the base and seven steps up to the covered porch and front door. Mr. Torres’s physician at Baylor Scott and White told him the outdoor entry steps were a fall risk after two back surgeries. We anchored the weather-resistant cream seat unit into the stone porch structure with stainless expansion bolts, sealed every connection point against North Texas spring storms, and fitted a carpeted outdoor tread at the bottom landing for secure footing on arrival. The rail track carries a UV-stabilized coating rated for the 100-plus-degree summer days that hit the south-facing stone entry. Mr. Torres uses it every time he leaves the house.

Nash Farm area — veteran-funded straight rail on carpeted stairs

Nash Farm, TX Installed November 2025

Retired Sergeant Bowman lives in a 1980s ranch-style home near Nash Farm with 14 carpeted treads leading from the main floor to the upstairs bedrooms. A service-connected knee injury made the daily climb increasingly dangerous. The carpet-mount brackets bolt through the pile and pad into the plywood subfloor, hidden entirely beneath the rail track — no visible hardware, no carpet damage. The brown-upholstered seat blends with the carpet tone so naturally that his grandchildren barely noticed it on install day. We walked him through VA Form 10-0103, coordinated with VA North Texas in Dallas, and had the $6,800 HISA grant approved in five weeks. Total out-of-pocket: zero.

Platform Lift

Parr Park area — indoor inclined platform lift for full-time wheelchair user

Parr Park area, TX Installed October 2025

The Caldwell home near Parr Park has a split-level interior stairway connecting the entry level to the main living floor. Their daughter uses a power wheelchair full-time and cannot transfer to a seated stairlift. We installed an indoor inclined wheelchair platform lift with a flat black anti-slip platform surface and yellow high-visibility safety edges on all sides. The white handrail runs the full length of the incline. The warm-toned interior walls and window light made placement straightforward — the platform folds flat against the wall when not in use, and the keyed call station at the lower landing lets her summon it independently. Three companies told the family an elevator was the only answer. This installed in a single day.

Common Questions

Everything Grapevine Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift cost in Grapevine right now?

Straight rails in standard Grapevine homes run $2,800 to $5,500 installed. Curved rails — needed when your staircase has a landing turn, common in Stone Bridge Estates colonials and the larger Oak Creek Estates homes — run $9,000 to $15,000 because the rail is manufactured to your exact staircase geometry. Outdoor lifts for raised entries on Grapevine’s hillside and lakeside lots run $4,000 to $7,500. Every quote is written, honored for 30 days, and includes installation, rail, seat, battery backup, and your first service visit. No travel fees anywhere in Tarrant County.

Is the price different for a Historic Downtown home versus a newer subdivision?

Equipment prices are the same regardless of neighborhood. What can vary slightly is install labor for non-standard conditions — original narrow treads in century-old bungalows near Main Street, open-riser floating staircases in Silverlake contemporaries, or hillside lots where outdoor installs involve more anchoring work. We itemize every line on the written quote. No zip code premiums.

Is the in-home assessment free?

Zero charge. The assessment takes about 45 minutes — we walk your staircase, measure with a laser, explain exactly what we’d install and why, and leave you with a written quote. No deposit, no obligation, no follow-up pressure. If you decide to move forward, the quote holds for 30 days.

Do you offer financing?

Yes — three lending partners with 0% APR for qualified buyers and fixed-rate plans from $79 per month. Application is a soft credit pull, takes about four minutes, and approval is typically instant. Many Grapevine families combine financing with a partial VA HISA grant or the federal IRS medical deduction to reduce the monthly cost further. We run through the math during the free assessment.

A word from Luis

Most of my Grapevine calls come from one of two situations: a parent who has lived in their Historic Downtown bungalow for 30 years and refuses to leave, or a newer Stone Bridge home that a family built for decades but now has a two-story staircase that changed overnight after surgery or a diagnosis.

I come out the same day you call, measure the staircase with a laser, and hand you a written quote before I leave. No callbacks, no follow-up pressure. I know Grapevine’s housing stock. I’ve worked in the narrow stairwells of the 1920s bungalows near Main Street, the wide-foyer builders in Silverlake, and the lake-view hillside homes in Oak Creek Estates.

If you’re a veteran, I’ll walk you through the HISA process line by line — Grapevine has a strong vet community and we see that grant constantly.
