Stairlift Service Across Wayne County

Wayne County, NC

Goldsboro's stairlift work breaks into the historic core, the Walnut Creek lakefront, and the post-war ranches near the base. West Haven and the Goldsboro Historic District downtown hold the oldest stock — narrow 30–32-inch stairwells, heart-pine treads, original balusters preserved. Walnut Creek east of US 70 is the private-lake/golf community with 1990s–2000s two-story builds and quarter-turn upper landings. Meares Bluff and Rosewood south of town hold spacious tree-lined family ranches with sunken-living-room step-downs. Herman Park area homes near downtown have shorter porch entries. Seymour Johnson AFB housing-adjacent ranches west of town are the HISA-funded territory. I also serve Pikeville, Mount Olive, Fremont, Eureka, Walnut Creek (the town), Seven Springs, and Smithfield from this base.

Common Questions

Everything Goldsboro Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a straight stairlift cost in Goldsboro, NC?

A standard straight rail in Goldsboro starts at $2,800 installed, including chair, track, two remotes, and a 5-year warranty. Most West Haven historic district and Meares Bluff jobs land between $3,100 and $4,000 depending on rail length and tread material.

How much does a curved stairlift cost in Walnut Creek?

Curved rails for Walnut Creek lakefront splits start at $9,000 and typically run $11,000–$14,500. The rail is laser-measured, fabricated in 4–6 weeks, then installed in one day. Quarter-turn upper landings around a chandelier are the most common Walnut Creek configuration.

Is financing available in Goldsboro and Wayne County?

Yes — 0% APR financing from $79/month over 36 months, or 5.99% over 60 months. We run soft-pull credit at the kitchen table; no SSN needed for the pre-approval.

What's the average total project cost for Seymour Johnson AFB veterans?

After HISA grant ($6,800 service-connected) most of our Goldsboro AFB veteran installs cost the homeowner $0–$3,500 out of pocket — typically a curved rail in the $11,000–$13,500 range with HISA covering the bulk.

A word from Luis

Goldsboro splits into three jobs for me. The West Haven and downtown historic district homes — National Register territory, mid-1800s to 1940s — have narrow 30–32-inch stairwells with original heart-pine treads. I bolt the rail along the right side and preserve every original baluster. No wall damage; no tread damage.

The Walnut Creek private-lake community east of US 70 is the curved-rail territory — 1990s–2000s two-story builds with quarter-turn upper landings around a chandelier. I run a single curved rail rather than a transfer at the landing.

Then there's Seymour Johnson AFB. Wayne County has one of the highest active-duty plus retiree veteran densities in eastern NC, and the HISA grant ($6,800 service-connected) plus NC CAP/DA Waiver covers most of the curved-rail jobs I do here. The Goldsboro VA Clinic at 2610 N Hospital Road and the Johnson AFB VA Clinic at 1055 Jabara Avenue are both two miles from most installs. I file the HISA paperwork myself.

— Luis Ramírez, Goldsboro
Your Next Step

Ready to get started? It's simple.

Goldsboro sits inside the NC CAP/DA Waiver district and within four miles of two VA facilities — Johnson AFB Clinic at 1055 Jabara Avenue and Goldsboro CBOC at 2610 N Hospital Road. With Seymour Johnson AFB anchoring Wayne County, HISA-funded stairlifts are our highest-volume job here.

If you're caring for a parent in West Haven, Walnut Creek, or anywhere on the Seymour Johnson side and the stairs are the daily problem, call me directly. I'll tell you in 20 minutes whether a straight or curved rail is the right call — and whether your HISA grant covers it.
