Do the hillside lots near Tucalota Hills mean a more expensive curved lift?
Not automatically. A lot of the graded lots out this way still built a single straight flight inside the house even though the pad itself is sloped — the grading affects the foundation, not necessarily the staircase. We measure the actual stairs on-site before quoting; a mid-landing or a bend in the stairs is what pushes the price into curved-rail territory, not the elevation of the lot.
How long does a stairlift installation take in a French Valley house?
Because most of French Valley was built in the last fifteen years or so, the staircases tend to be clean, code-compliant, single-run flights — no settling, no odd angles from decades of shifting. A straight rail on that kind of stairs is usually a same-day job. A curved rail, more common on the hillside lots with a landing or turn, takes longer since the rail is custom-fabricated to the stair profile first.
Will the installation damage the stairs or the wall?
