A straight rail for the single-flight staircases common in the Village Homes and Garden Homes section on the west side sits at the lower end of the price range, since there's no landing turn to build a custom bend around. A curved rail for one of the two-story condo stairwells near Fontainebleau Park runs more, because the rail has to be fabricated to that exact turn. Miami-Dade generally prices at the higher end of national ranges, so we break the quote into rail, motor, and labor line items rather than giving a single round number over the phone.
Usually, yes, but not because the lift itself costs more. Condo jobs mean coordinating with HOA or building management before we can even get in to measure, and the older 1970s stairwells on the east side are narrower, which sometimes pushes a straight-rail job into curved-rail territory. The Garden Homes and Village Homes to the west tend to have simple single-flight stairs, which keeps both material and labor cost down.

If you're in one of the condo or apartment buildings that make up the eastern half of Fontainebleau, plan on it — we're modifying a stairwell inside a shared structure, so building management usually wants sign-off first. Homes on the west side, the Village Homes, Garden Homes, and townhomes, are standalone properties, so that step doesn't apply there.
