Our Coverage Area

Stairlift Service Across Sacramento County

Sacramento County, CA

Briggs Ranch is our highest-volume Folsom neighborhood — large-lot 1990s two-stories with 14-to-16-tread straight runs, wood-frame construction, and 3-to-4-hour installs we've measured dozens of times. No HOA here, so no approval delay. Empire Ranch is the same era with similar stair geometry; its HOA requires a FEHA reasonable-accommodation packet we pre-fill at no charge.

Los Cerros is the premier neighborhood — taller ceilings, sweeping curved entries that require custom-fabricated rails. Diamond Glen is Folsom's only 55+ gated community with single-story homes where the stairlift need is typically the garage-to-kitchen steps. Broadstone mixes single-family homes near the Palladio. Historic Folsom around Sutter Street has Victorian-era homes where we match rail finishes to original hardwood. Folsom Ranch is the newest area — post-2015 builds with wide stairs and quick installs.

1999 Briggs Ranch two-story — straight rail from hardwood foyer to the upstairs master

Briggs Ranch, CA Installed March 2026

A 1999 two-story in Briggs Ranch with 15 carpeted treads over wood-frame construction from the hardwood foyer to the upstairs master suite. Mr. Kowalski, 74, retired state worker, had been sleeping in the family room recliner for six weeks after a knee replacement at Mercy Folsom. His wife called on a Tuesday; we measured Wednesday and installed Friday. Standard lag-screw anchoring into the wood treads, seat folds flat against the wall, battery backup sized for a PG&E PSPS event. Mr. Kowalski slept in his own bed Friday night for the first time in six weeks.

Los Cerros estate — custom curved rail around a sweeping two-story entry

Los Cerros, CA Installed February 2026

A Los Cerros estate home with a sweeping curved entry staircase, 18-foot ceiling in the foyer, and a custom wrought-iron banister the family had no intention of letting anyone touch. Mrs. Ellison, 78, lives alone on the upper floor and had started taking the stairs on her hands and knees. We laser-scanned the sweeping curve on visit one, fabricated a custom rail that follows the inside arc without contacting the wrought iron, and installed in a single afternoon. The seat parks at the upper landing where she steps off onto the hallway. Mrs. Ellison rides up every evening and down every morning without touching the stairs.

Historic Folsom bungalow — straight rail beside the sideboard on stone-tile treads

Historic Folsom, CA Installed January 2026

An early-1900s bungalow south of the railroad corridor in Historic Folsom with stone-tile treads, a wooden sideboard with a potted fern at the base of the stairs, and that compact cottage character the neighborhood is known for. Mr. Tanaka, 83, had been avoiding the second floor entirely after his second hip replacement. We bolted a straight rail into the tile treads in the tight stairwell, tucked the seat fold-up against the sideboard at the bottom, and matched the rail finish to the original woodwork. Compact space, no damage to the original character. Mr. Tanaka reaches his upstairs bedroom every night.

Diamond Glen 55+ — outdoor stoop lift on stone-paved porch steps

Diamond Glen, CA Installed December 2025

A 1998 single-story home in the Diamond Glen 55+ gated community — no interior stairs, but four concrete steps from the front walkway up to the covered porch and front door. The stone paving at the base had become slippery for Mrs. Patel's mother after a fall. We anchored a weather-resistant cream-seat outdoor rail into the existing stone paving, sealed every fastener for the Central Valley sun, and installed a carpeted tread mat at the bottom step. Mrs. Patel's mother rides from the walkway to the front door in natural daylight under the porch overhang. Battery sized for a PG&E PSPS event.

Empire Ranch — straight rail on carpeted stairs before a parent moved in

Empire Ranch, CA Installed November 2025

A 2003 two-story in Empire Ranch Village — standard tract floor plan, 14 carpeted treads, wood-frame, no landing turn. Mrs. Harmon's mother was moving from Fremont and needed the upstairs guest bedroom accessible before the moving truck arrived on Saturday. The brown-upholstered seat blends with the carpet tones on the treads and the tiled floor at the bottom landing. We measured on Monday, the HOA FEHA packet was approved by Wednesday, and we installed on Thursday. Standard lag-screw anchoring, seat folds flat on the carpeted landing. Platform Lift

Broadstone — indoor wheelchair platform lift for post-surgical discharge

Broadstone, CA Installed October 2025

A 1997 two-story in the Broadstone area near the Palladio shopping center. Mr. Henderson, 71, was discharged from Mercy Folsom after bilateral knee replacement and could not transfer safely to a standard seat. The family needed a wheelchair-accessible solution on the indoor stairway. We installed an inclined wheelchair platform lift — a flat black anti-slip platform with yellow high-visibility safety edges and a white handrail — anchored into the wood treads. Mr. Henderson rolls his wheelchair onto the platform, locks the wheels, and rides to the upper floor without transferring. The orange-toned walls of the stairway brighten the ride. The HOA FEHA packet was approved before he left the hospital.

Common Questions

Everything Folsom Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift cost in Folsom right now?

Interior straight rails in a Briggs Ranch, Empire Ranch, Broadstone, or Folsom Ranch two-story run $2,800 to $5,500 installed. Curved rails for Los Cerros sweeping entries or Empire Ranch townhomes with mid-landing turns run $9,000 to $15,000 because the rail is manufactured to your exact stair geometry. Outdoor stoop lifts for Diamond Glen garage-to-kitchen entries and Historic Folsom front porches run $4,000 to $7,500 with UV-stabilized components and a heat-rated battery included. Every quote is written, honored for 30 days, and includes the rail, seat, battery backup, install labor, and the first service visit.

Are prices higher in Los Cerros or Historic Folsom than in Briggs Ranch?

Equipment prices are identical across every Folsom ZIP. We do not inflate quotes for a Los Cerros address. What varies is labor for unusual site conditions — a custom curved-rail fabrication on a sweeping Los Cerros entry staircase, Historic District Commission paperwork for exterior-visible work on a contributing Sutter Street structure, or a dedicated 120V circuit in a pre-1930 bungalow with dated wiring. Every line item appears on the written quote before you sign.

My Diamond Glen home is single-story. Do I still need a stairlift?

Diamond Glen is single-story, but most homes have three to four concrete steps from the garage to the kitchen and another two to three from the front walkway to the front door. When those steps become the obstacle, an outdoor stoop lift bolted into the existing concrete solves the problem without a ramp, without a remodel, and without leaving Diamond Glen. It is the single most common install we do in the 55+ community.

Do you charge extra for PG&E PSPS-rated battery backup?

No. Every Folsom install — indoor and outdoor — ships with a multi-hour battery reserve as standard equipment because PG&E Public Safety Power Shutoffs reach Folsom neighborhoods during red-flag wind events every fall. This is not an upgrade and it is not an upsell. It is baseline spec for every install in the Sacramento metro foothills.

A word from Luis

Folsom calls split into two conversations. One is a 1990s Briggs Ranch or Empire Ranch two-story where the homeowner bought the house in their 40s and is now 72, the kids moved out years ago, and the master suite is upstairs where it has always been. The other is a Diamond Glen single-story in the 55+ community where the stairlift conversation is about the four concrete steps from the garage into the kitchen, not an interior staircase.

Both calls end the same way — we show up within 24 hours with a laser and leave with a written quote. My promise: on-site anywhere from Historic Folsom to Folsom Ranch within 24 hours, a written quote honored for 30 days, CSLB-licensed (C-61/D-34), and every battery sized for a PG&E Public Safety Power Shutoff.
