Our Coverage Area

Stairlift Service Across Cuyahoga County

Cuyahoga County, OH

We cover all of Fairview Park's four square miles, from the Westwood Cape Cods and Parkview postwar ranches to the larger colonials around Bain Park and the Metroparks ridge. Westgate-area homes near the shopping center usually have a 12 to 14 foot straight run; the Goldwood blocks south of Lorain Road run narrower stairs, often 32 inches, which needs a slim-profile seat. The Bohlken Park side and the homes off Coe Ridge Road typically have split-level layouts with 6 to 8 exterior garage steps that benefit from an outdoor stainless rail.

Common Questions

Everything Fairview Park Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a straight stairlift cost in Fairview Park, OH?

A straight rail in a standard Fairview Park Cape Cod or ranch runs from $2,800 installed. That covers the rail, seat, battery backup, and full commissioning. Most Westwood and Parkview homes land at or near the starting price because the 14-tread layout is consistent.

How much does a curved rail cost for a Bain Park colonial?

Curved rails start at $9,000 because each one is measured on-site and fabricated to your exact stair. Fairview Park's older colonials with a half-landing 90-degree turn typically run $11,000 to $14,000. The quote is fixed before work begins.

Can I finance the install?

Yes. Financing starts at $79 a month with approved credit. Many Fairview Park households pair that with the Ohio Homestead Exemption property-tax relief to free up cash flow. A soft-pull prequalification does not affect your credit.

What is NOT included in the quote?

The install price is fixed. Variables we flag before install day: adding an electrical outlet near a landing (rare in Fairview Park's updated Cape Cods), carpet removal and replacement on the stair, or any electrical panel work if the home is still on a 60-amp service.

A word from Luis

Fairview Park is Cleveland West's postwar suburb: the Cape Cods on Westwood and Parkview are almost identical, 14-tread straight runs with carpeted oak, and I know the dimensions before I walk in. The Westgate-area ranches have short flights off the garage. The bigger colonials around Bain Park and near the Metroparks ridge are the ones that take a curved rail because the stair turns at the landing.

Lake-effect snow matters for outdoor installs. The garage-entry stairs on Coe Ridge and the side-door stoops in the Goldwood blocks get coated in road salt all winter, so the rail has to be stainless and the motor has to be sealed. Indoor is easier but still takes care: I bolt rails into the tread stringers, never the tread face, because Fairview Park's 1950s floor framing moves with the humidity swings between July and January.

— Luis Ramírez, Fairview Park
Your Next Step

Ready to get started? It's simple.

Fairview Park homes split into three stair types: the Cape Cod straight runs in Westwood and Parkview, the curved colonials near Bain Park, and the split-level garage flights throughout the Westgate and Goldwood blocks. Matching the rail to the stair is more important than the brand name on the motor.

If your parent is in a Fairview Park Cape Cod or one of the Bain-area colonials, I can come measure this week. One hour on-site, written quote in 48 hours, install usually the following week for straight rails.
