Stairlift Service Across Riverside County

Riverside County, CA

Desert Edge is a cluster of 55-plus manufactured-home communities along Dillon Road. Dillon Estates is a gated co-op with mineral-water pools, where slim-rail straight lifts bolt to laminate treads in narrow double-wides. Caliente Springs Resort park models often turn at a half-wall, so we custom-bend curved rail. Desert Crest homes have compact 30-inch staircases that still take a standard rail. We also serve Corkill Palms and Desert Palms on Corkill Road, Desert View Mobile Home Club on Roberts Road, and Miracle Acres. Most units sit at base price because the staircases are short and straight. Nearby we cover Desert Hot Springs, Cathedral City, Palm Springs, and Palm Desert.

Common Questions

Everything Desert Edge Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding, no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift cost in Desert Edge, CA?

Straight models begin at $2,800, curved at $9,000, outdoor at $4,000, and heavy-duty at $5,050. Pricing covers the in-home assessment, rail, seat, labor, and battery backup. Most Desert Edge manufactured-home units fall into the base price tier because the staircases are short and straight.

Are stairlifts more expensive for manufactured homes in Desert Edge?

No. Manufactured-home staircases use the same tread-mounted rail system as site-built homes. The rail bolts to the steps, not the walls, so a Dillon Estates or Caliente Springs double-wide costs the same to fit as any other home.

What affects the final price of a stairlift in Desert Edge?

Three things: rail length (more treads means more rail), a curved configuration that needs custom fabrication, and an outdoor weather-sealed unit. A typical straight Desert Edge install uses 12–14 feet of rail at base price. California charges no sales tax on medical mobility equipment with a prescription.

Does All American Stairlifts charge a travel fee to come to Desert Edge?

No travel fees. Desert Edge sits inside our regular Coachella Valley service area, and we run assessments weekly along Dillon Road, so there is no mileage or trip charge.

A word from Luis

Desert Edge isn't like the rest of the Coachella Valley. These are manufactured homes off Dillon Road, mostly from the '80s and '90s, with three to five steps up to the door and interior stairs in the double-wides. I've put straight rails in more Dillon Estates park models than I can count.

The install is always the same: bolt to the treads, plug into a standard outlet, test it three times, and hand over the remote. On the Caliente Springs and Desert Crest porches we use a sealed outdoor unit because summer here runs past 110° with blowing sand. Three hours, no surprises, no drywall to patch.

Your Next Step

Ready to get started? It's simple.

Desert Edge is one of the Coachella Valley's most affordable retirement areas, yet its decades-old manufactured homes have stairs and porch steps that get harder to manage each year. A stairlift keeps you in the home you own instead of forcing a move.

We schedule assessments weekly along Dillon Road, so a Desert Edge install rarely waits. Call (800) 965-0350 for a free in-home assessment and a fixed quote.
