Stairlift Service Across Burlington County

Burlington County, NJ

From the 1960s split-levels and raised ranches in Tenby Chase along Tenby Chase Drive and Haines Mill Road, to the two-story colonials in Hartford Park off Hartford Road and Perkins Lane where wider center-hall staircases take a standard straight rail, our crew has measured staircases throughout Delran Township. The Chester Avenue corridor near Delran Intermediate School features Cape Cod and bi-level homes with narrow enclosed stairways that benefit from our slim-profile rail. Along Creek Road and Bridgeboro Road, older farmhouse conversions and 1950s bungalows have steeper-than-standard interior runs. In the newer developments near Conrow Road and the Delran Community Park, two-story homes have open floor plans with wider treads and straight runs that simplify every install.

1978 Tenby Chase split-level — straight rail on carpeted half-flight

Tenby Chase, NJ Installed March 2026

A split-level in Tenby Chase built in 1978 with a carpeted half-flight of seven steps between the main level and the bedrooms. Mrs. Pellegrino had been sleeping on the living room sofa for three weeks after her second knee replacement because the half-flight was too painful. We laser-measured the run, confirmed the standard rail would leave 25 inches of clear passage on the 36-inch-wide stairway, and installed the same week. The brown-upholstered seat folds flat against the wall at the bottom. Mrs. Pellegrino slept in her own bed that night.

Hartford Road colonial — curved rail through a 90° landing turn

Hartford Road, NJ Installed February 2026

A two-story colonial on Hartford Road with a center-hall staircase: eight steps from the front hall to a 90-degree landing, then six more steps to the upstairs bedrooms. The Henderson family has lived here since 1985. We digitally scanned the entire run on the first visit, fabricated a single curved rail that carries Mr. Henderson from the front hall to the upper hallway without stopping, and installed a swivel-exit seat at the top so he steps onto hardwood instead of balancing on the top tread. His VA provider at the Burlington County clinic wrote the HISA prescription and the grant covered $6,800.

Straight

Chester Avenue Cape Cod — straight rail on narrow enclosed stairway

Chester Avenue, NJ Installed January 2026

A 1950s Cape Cod on Chester Avenue near Delran Intermediate School with a narrow enclosed stairway to the second-floor bedrooms. Mrs. Caputo qualified for the JACC program through the Burlington County Office on Aging and the program covered the full installation cost. The slim-profile rail takes up 11 inches when folded, leaving 19 inches of clear passage on the 30-inch stairway. Luis walked her through every control at the kitchen table and left a large-print quick-start card taped next to the bottom station.

Outdoor

Bridgeboro Road home — outdoor lift on brick front porch steps

Bridgeboro Road, NJ Installed December 2025

A raised ranch on Bridgeboro Road with six brick front steps leading to the covered porch. Mr. Romano had been entering through the garage for three months because the brick steps were too slippery in fall rain. The cream-colored weather-resistant seat sits at the bottom step, ready when he comes home from errands. Every component is corrosion-resistant for road salt spray in winter, UV-stabilized for summer, and rated for New Jersey's freeze-thaw cycling from November through March.

Conrow Road development — straight rail on wide treads, same-week install

Conrow Road, NJ Installed November 2025

A newer two-story home in the Conrow Road development near Delran Community Park with wide oak treads and an open floor plan. Mr. Walsh's daughter in Philadelphia called on Wednesday, we measured Thursday morning, and the install crew arrived Friday afternoon. The rail mounts flush against the wall on the right side, leaving the left banister fully open. The swivel seat at the top lets Mr. Walsh step off onto the hardwood landing facing the upstairs hallway. He was riding it by Friday evening.

Platform Lift

Conrow Road home — inclined wheelchair platform lift with yellow safety edges

Conrow Road, NJ Installed October 2025

A two-story home near Conrow Road where Mr. Jackson uses a power wheelchair full-time after a spinal cord injury during his service in the Army. A seated stairlift was not an option — he needed to ride his chair between floors. We installed an inclined wheelchair platform lift along the indoor stairway: a flat black anti-slip platform with yellow high-visibility safety edges on all thresholds, white handrails, and a keyed lockout so visiting grandchildren cannot activate it unsupervised. The HISA grant covered $6,800 and NJ FamilyCare covered the remaining balance through his Medicaid service coordinator. Mr. Jackson rolls onto the platform, presses one button, and rides the incline to the upper floor without leaving his chair.

Common Questions

Everything Delran Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift cost in Delran, NJ?

Straight rails in Delran homes — the split-levels in Tenby Chase, the Cape Cods along Chester Avenue, the colonials in Hartford Park — run $2,800 to $5,500 installed. Curved rails for the two-story homes on Hartford Road or Creek Road with landing turns run $9,000 to $15,000 because the rail is manufactured to your staircase's exact geometry. Outdoor models for raised front entries and porch steps run $4,000 to $7,500. Every quote is written, honored for 30 days, and includes installation, rail, seat, battery backup, and the first service visit.

Are Delran prices different from Cherry Hill or Moorestown?

Equipment prices are identical across Burlington County — we do not adjust based on city size or neighborhood. What varies slightly is install labor for unusual conditions: narrow enclosed stairways in bi-level homes along Chester Avenue, steeper runs in 1950s bungalows on Bridgeboro Road, and the corrosion-resistant lubricant we spec as standard on every Delran install for four-season durability. Those are baseline specs, not upcharges. We list every line item on the written quote.

Is a stairlift cheaper than moving to a single-story home?

Relocation costs in Burlington County — real estate commission, closing costs, moving crew, new deposits — run $18,000 to $35,000 minimum given current home values. A straight stairlift installs in under four hours for $2,800 to $5,500 and lets you stay in the home you have lived in for decades, in the neighborhood you know, close to your doctors and your community. For most Delran families, the stairlift costs less than the real estate commission alone.

Do you offer financing for Delran homeowners?

Yes. We offer 12-month interest-free financing and extended terms up to 60 months starting at $79 per month for a standard straight install. Approval takes minutes during the in-home visit. We also help you stack financing with VA HISA, NJ JACC, or NJ FamilyCare so you pay the lowest possible out-of-pocket.

A word from Luis

Delran families usually call after a fall or a close call on the stairs — a grandmother who slipped on the hardwood in a Hartford Road colonial, a father recovering from hip surgery at Virtua who hasn't been upstairs in six weeks, a daughter in Cherry Hill worried about her parents in a split-level on Tenby Chase Drive they've owned for 35 years.

I drive out, measure the staircase, and hand you a written quote good for 30 days. No pressure. No upsells.
