Our Butterfield Ranch home has dark oak stairs with iron spindles and I was worried the stairlift would wreck the look. All American bolted the rail into the treads only — never touched a spindle — and the beige seat blends right in.

The 90-degree turn at the top of our Rolling Ridge staircase had two other companies telling us we'd need two separate lifts. All American scanned the curve, built one rail that follows the arc, and my husband rides from the entry to the bedroom in a single trip.

My mother-in-law speaks Mandarin and we coordinated the whole thing with my sister in San Jose on speakerphone. The All American rep was patient through the entire assessment while I translated. Dad-in-law has used the lift every day since November.
