The standard for Castaic’s Stonegate two-stories, Hasley Hills split-levels, and Val Verde ranches. Over 70% of the stairlifts we install across the Santa Clarita Valley are straight rails. The rail bolts into your treads, the seat folds flat, and the battery backup keeps you moving through Santa Ana wind power shutoffs and summer heat. Most installs wrap in under four hours.

Stairlift Service Across Los Angeles County

Los Angeles County, CA

From the Stonegate subdivision — hillside two-stories built in the early 2000s with open floor plans and 15-tread hardwood runs — to the Hasley Hills homes along Hasley Canyon Road with their split-level entries and elevated front porches, our crew has measured staircases across every Castaic neighborhood. Val Verde features older ranches and modest single-stories from the 1960s where straight rails install in under three hours. The Castaic Lake area homes tend toward newer construction with wider stairways suited to standard rails. We also serve Stevenson Ranch, Santa Clarita, Valencia, and Simi Valley as part of our northern LA County route.

Stonegate two-story — beige seat on hardwood treads, hillside home

Stonegate, CA Installed March 2026

A 2003 Stonegate two-story on the hillside above Castaic Lake with 15 hardwood treads and an open floor plan. Mrs. Reyes had back surgery at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital and the staircase to the bedrooms was the single barrier to recovering at home. We matched the beige seat to the warm hardwood tones, bolted the rail into the treads, and parked the chair at the bottom landing where it folds flat against the wall. The open stairway gives plenty of clearance — folded, the seat takes up just 11 inches.

Hasley Hills split-level — curved rail through a 90° landing turn

Hasley Hills, CA Installed February 2026

A Hasley Hills split-level along Hasley Canyon Road with six steps from the entry to the living area, a 90-degree landing, then eight more steps to the bedrooms. Mr. Torres has lived in this house since 1995 and refused to consider moving. We laser-scanned the full run on the first visit, fabricated a single curved rail that carries him from the entry to the upper hallway without stopping, and installed a swivel-exit seat at the top. One ride, zero transfers. The compact-profile curved track fits the tighter split-level geometry perfectly.

Val Verde ranch — straight rail on carpeted stairs beside the hallway shelf

Val Verde, CA Installed January 2026

A 1965 Val Verde ranch with carpeted stairs and a standard 36-inch-wide staircase. The brown-upholstered seat sits at the bottom of the stairs next to a wooden shelf Mrs. Carter has kept in the hallway for decades. The rail bolts through the carpet into the wooden treads beneath — no carpet removal, no damage to the pile. This is among the shortest installs we do in Castaic — the 1960s ranch layout has a compact 11-tread run that wraps up in under three hours.

Hasley Hills home — outdoor lift on elevated front porch steps

Hasley Hills, CA Installed December 2025

A Hasley Hills home along Hasley Canyon Road with six concrete steps leading from the driveway to the elevated front porch. Mr. Fletcher had fallen twice on the steep entry before his daughter called. The cream-colored weather-resistant seat sits at the bottom, ready when he comes home from errands. Every component is UV-stabilized for direct California sun, heat-rated for 110°F+ surface temperatures, and sealed against the dust and Santa Ana winds that sweep through Castaic Pass. The battery backup kept the lift running during a PSPS power shutoff last fall.

Castaic Lake area home — straight rail in newer construction, same-week install

Castaic Lake, CA Installed November 2025

A newer two-story home near Castaic Lake with wide engineered-hardwood treads and an open stairway. Mrs. Gonzalez’s daughter called on Monday, we measured Tuesday afternoon, and the install crew arrived Thursday morning. The Medi-Cal HCBA waiver covered the cost after the LA County waiver agency completed the assessment. The rail mounts flush against the wall, and the swivel seat at the top lets Mrs. Gonzalez step off onto the upstairs landing facing the hallway. She was riding it by Thursday evening.

Platform Lift

Stonegate home — inclined wheelchair platform lift with yellow safety edges

Stonegate, CA Installed October 2025

Mr. Morales is a full-time wheelchair user after a motorcycle accident and the family’s Stonegate two-story has no first-floor bedroom. A seated stairlift was not an option — he needed to ride his chair between floors. We installed an inclined wheelchair platform lift along the indoor stairway: a flat black anti-slip platform with yellow high-visibility safety edges on all thresholds, white handrails, and a keyed lockout so visiting grandchildren cannot activate it unsupervised. The HCBA waiver through Medi-Cal covered the majority of the cost after the Los Angeles County waiver agency completed the assessment. Mr. Morales rolls onto the platform and rides to the upper floor without leaving his chair.

Common Questions

Everything Castaic Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift cost in Castaic, CA?

Straight rails in standard Castaic homes — the Stonegate two-stories, Hasley Hills split-levels, Val Verde ranches — run $2,800 to $5,500 installed. Curved rails for landing turns and L-stair layouts run $9,000 to $15,000 because the rail is manufactured to your exact staircase geometry. Outdoor models for elevated front entries and hillside porch steps run $4,000 to $7,500. Every quote is written, honored for 30 days, and includes installation, rail, seat, battery backup, and the first service visit.

Are Castaic prices different from Santa Clarita or Valencia?

Equipment prices are identical across the Santa Clarita Valley. What varies slightly is install complexity for unusual conditions — hillside entry outdoor installs in Stonegate, split-level geometry in Hasley Hills, or masonry-anchored jobs in older Val Verde concrete-block construction. We itemize every line on the written quote. No canyon surcharges, no zip-code pricing.

Is a stairlift cheaper than moving out of Castaic?

Moving costs in northern LA County — real estate commission, closing costs, packing, new deposits — typically run $30,000 to $60,000 given current Castaic home values above $700,000. A straight stairlift installs in under four hours for $2,800 to $5,500 and lets you stay in the home you have lived in for decades, in the neighborhood you know, near Henry Mayo Hospital and your community. For most Castaic families, the stairlift costs less than the real estate commission alone.

Do you offer financing for Castaic homeowners?

Yes. We offer 12-month interest-free financing and extended terms up to 60 months starting at $79 per month for a standard straight install. Approval takes minutes during the in-home visit. We also help you stack financing with VA HISA, the IRS medical deduction, or Medi-Cal HCBA so you pay the lowest possible out-of-pocket.

A word from Luis

Castaic families call after something specific — a parent in a Stonegate hillside home who slipped on the staircase, a retired firefighter in Hasley Hills whose back surgery at Henry Mayo keeps getting pushed off because he is afraid of the stairs, a daughter in Santa Clarita worried about her mother alone in a Val Verde ranch.

I drive out, measure the staircase, and hand you a written quote honored for 30 days. No pressure. No upsells. En español si lo prefiere.
