Our Coverage Area

Stairlift Service Across Hamilton County

Hamilton County, OH

Blue Ash sits at the crossroads of I-71 and the Ronald Reagan Highway, and its housing stock tells the story of each decade of Cincinnati suburban growth. The 1960s split-levels and raised ranches along Kenwood Road and Hunt Road are our most common curved-rail jobs — that mid-landing turn between the entry and upper bedrooms requires a custom-fabricated rail. The 1970s colonials near Summit Park and along Cooper Road have standard straight runs with 13 to 15 treads. The newer construction in Carriage Hill features wider stairways and open floor plans that simplify every install. Sycamore Township homes to the east and Deer Park bungalows to the south round out our regular service territory — all within a ten-minute drive of our Hamilton County coverage hub.

1974 colonial on Cooper Road — straight rail on hardwood treads

Cooper Road, OH Installed March 2026

A 1974 colonial near Cooper Road and Reed Hartman Highway with 14 oak treads, polished dark and original to the build. Mrs. Lawson stopped going upstairs to her bedroom after knee replacement at Christ Hospital. We measured Tuesday, bolted the rail straight into the treads — drywall stayed intact — and finished Thursday morning. The cream-upholstered seat parks at the bottom landing. She slept in her own bed that night.

1966 split-level on Hunt Road — curved rail through a 90 degree landing turn

Hunt Road, OH Installed February 2026

A 1966 split-level on Hunt Road with six steps from the front entry to a 90-degree landing, then nine more to the bedrooms. Mr. Russo retired from GE Aviation in 2019. We laser-scanned the run, fabricated a single curved rail that carries him from entry to upper hallway without stopping, and installed a swivel-exit seat at the top. His Cincinnati VAMC provider wrote the HISA prescription — the grant covered $6,800.

Summit Park cottage — straight rail on stone-tile treads beside the sideboard

Summit Park, OH Installed January 2026

A compact 1940s cottage near Summit Park with light stone-tile treads and a tight 11-foot stairwell. The brown-upholstered seat parks at the bottom landing, right beside the family's wooden sideboard that holds three generations of school portraits. The rail bolts into the tile-set treads with anchor sleeves rated for stone. Folded, the seat takes 11 inches of the narrow stairwell. Install ran clean to lunchtime.

Kenwood Road raised ranch — outdoor lift on flagstone front steps

Kenwood Road, OH Installed December 2025

A raised ranch on Kenwood Road with five flagstone front steps that iced over every winter. Mr. Walsh had already fallen twice on the icy stones before his son called us. The cream-upholstered weather-sealed seat sits at the bottom, ready when he comes home from errands. Every component is UV-stabilized, freeze-rated for Hamilton County's freeze-thaw cycle, and carries an IP55 seal.

Carriage Hill home — straight rail on carpeted treads, PASSPORT funded

Carriage Hill, OH Installed November 2025

A two-story in the Carriage Hill development with carpeted treads — warm tan pile that matches the brown seat upholstery. Tile floor at the base where the rail terminates. Mrs. Patel's son contacted the Council on Aging of Southwestern Ohio; PASSPORT approved coverage in three weeks. We installed two days after the approval letter arrived. The rail mounts through carpet into the wood treads beneath — no carpet removal. She was riding it by lunchtime.

Sycamore Township, OH Installed October 2025

We installed an inclined wheelchair platform along the indoor stairway: a flat black anti-slip deck with yellow high-visibility safety edges, white handrail, and keyed lockout. Loads up to 600 lb. Common Questions

Everything Blue Ash Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift cost in Blue Ash, OH?

Straight rails in standard Blue Ash homes — the colonials near Summit Park, the two-stories along Cooper Road, the older builds in Deer Park — run $2,800 to $5,500 installed. Curved rails for the 1960s split-levels on Kenwood Road and Hunt Road run $9,000 to $15,000 because the rail is manufactured to your exact staircase geometry. Outdoor models for raised entries run $4,000 to $7,500. Every quote is written and honored for 30 days.

Are Blue Ash prices different from Cincinnati or Mason?

Equipment prices are the same across Ohio — no inflation or discount based on neighborhood or distance from the city center. What varies slightly is install labor for unusual conditions: the mid-landing fabrication in 1960s split-levels along Hunt Road, the narrow treads in some older Sycamore Township homes, and the corrosion-resistant coating we spec on every outdoor install to handle Ohio's freeze-thaw cycles. Those are baseline specs, not upcharges. We list every line item on the written quote.

Is a stairlift cheaper than moving to a single-story home?

Moving costs in Hamilton County — real estate commission, closing, packing, deposits — typically run $20,000 to $40,000 minimum given current home values in Blue Ash. A straight stairlift installs in under four hours for $2,800 to $5,500 and lets you stay in the home you have maintained for decades, near your doctors at Christ Hospital and TriHealth, and in the school district your grandchildren attend. For most Blue Ash families, the stairlift costs less than the real estate commission alone.

Do you offer financing for Blue Ash homeowners?

Yes. We offer 12-month interest-free financing and extended terms up to 60 months starting at $79 per month for a standard straight install. Approval takes minutes during the in-home visit. We also help you stack financing with VA HISA, Ohio PASSPORT waiver coverage, or IRS medical deductions so you pay the lowest possible out-of-pocket.

A word from Luis

Blue Ash calls usually start after someone stops using the second floor altogether — a retired GE Aviation engineer in Summit Park who hasn't been upstairs since hip surgery at Christ Hospital, a grandmother in Sycamore Township whose grandchildren now bring her laundry down from the bedrooms, a son in Kenwood calling about his parents in one of those 1970s raised ranches on Kenwood Road where the living space is half a flight up from the garage.

I drive out, measure the staircase, and hand you a written quote honored for 30 days. No pressure. No upsells. En español si lo prefiere.
