Expert Stairlift Installation in Bellevue, WI

Most Bellevue homes are 1960s-1990s Brown County ranches and split-levels with carpeted treads — we bolt the rail through the carpet into the treads, and weather-seal outdoor rails for the freeze-thaw cycles off the bay.

Stairlift Service Across Brown County

Brown County, WI

Most of Bellevue's housing stock dates from the 1960s through 1990s. The Jourdain Tract subdivisions east of Riverview Drive hold single-story ranches and modest split-levels with standard 12-to-15-foot stair runs — the simplest installs we do. The Eaton Road corridor mixes newer two-stories with older raised ranches where outdoor rails handle the front-entry steps. Along the Creamery Road stretch near Allouez, colonials from the 1970s occasionally need curved rails for upper-landing turns. The Lime Kiln Road two-stories from the 1990s have oak hardwood treads and standard widths. We also serve Allouez, Ledgeview, Hobart, De Pere, Ashwaubenon, and Howard — all within 15 minutes of our service base.

Straight

Jourdain Tract ranch — straight rail on hardwood treads

Jourdain Tract, WI Installed March 2026

A 1968 ranch in the Jourdain Tract with original dark oak hardwood treads down the main staircase. Mr. Kowalski had been sleeping on the recliner for two months after a knee replacement at Bellin Hospital. Luis measured Tuesday and installed Wednesday morning, bolting the straight rail directly into the oak treads — never the wall, never the banister. The cream-upholstered seat parks at the bottom landing, footrest folded, leaving full stair clearance for the grandchildren.

Creamery Road colonial — curved rail past the upper landing turn

Creamery Road, WI Installed February 2026

A 1974 colonial on Creamery Road with a 90-degree turn at the upper landing in a high-ceilinged modern interior the Novaks remodeled in 2019. A national chain quoted two separate straight rails with a mid-staircase transfer. Luis laser-scanned the entire run and we fabricated one custom-bent curved rail. The brown seat parks at the top landing, swivels to dismount, and Mr.

Allouez cottage — straight rail on stone-tile foyer with oak sideboard

Allouez, WI Installed December 2025

A 1962 cottage in neighboring Allouez with a stone-tile foyer at the base of the stairs and an oak sideboard parked against the wall by the bottom newel post. The narrow stairwell put off two other companies. Luis fitted our slimmest rail and the brown seat tucks under the archway when parked at the bottom — the sideboard never had to be moved. Mrs.

Eaton Road raised ranch — weather-sealed outdoor lift on stone steps

Eaton Road, WI Installed November 2025

A 1970s raised ranch on the Eaton Road corridor with six exterior flagstone steps from the driveway up to the front door — no handrail and Wisconsin ice from November through March. Mr. Vander Heiden is a Vietnam-era veteran who qualified for the HISA grant through the Milo C. Huempfner VA OPC.

Lime Kiln Road two-story — straight rail on carpeted treads

Lime Kiln Road, WI Installed October 2025

A 1990s two-story on Lime Kiln Road with warm-tan carpeted treads and a tile floor at the base of the stairs — standard mid-range residential build. Mrs. Schneider had a spinal fusion at Bellin Hospital and her physical therapist wanted a stairlift in place before discharge. The brown seat parks near the upper landing, color-matched to the carpet tones.

Platform Lift

Ledgeview accessible remodel — indoor wheelchair platform lift

Ledgeview, WI Installed September 2025

A newer Ledgeview two-story with a four-step interior level change between the garage entry and the main floor — an inclined wheelchair platform, not a seated stairlift. Luis installed a flat black deck with yellow high-visibility safety edges, a white handrail on the open side, controls at wheelchair height on both levels, and a safety gate that locks before the platform moves. Common Questions

Everything Bellevue Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift cost in Bellevue, WI right now?

Straight rails for standard Bellevue homes — Jourdain Tract ranches, Eaton Road split-levels, Lime Kiln Road two-stories — run $2,800 to $5,500 installed. Curved rails for staircases with landing turns, common in older Creamery Road colonials, run $9,000 to $15,000 because the rail is fabricated to your exact staircase geometry. Outdoor models for raised front entries run $4,000 to $7,500. Every quote is written, honored for 30 days, and includes installation, rail, seat, battery backup, and the first service visit.

Are Bellevue prices different from Green Bay or De Pere?

Equipment prices are identical whether you live in Bellevue, Green Bay, De Pere, Ashwaubenon, or Howard — we do not inflate quotes by zip code. What can vary slightly is install labor for unusual conditions: stone-veneer walls in older Allouez cottages, HOA paperwork in newer Ledgeview developments, or extra weather-sealing on outdoor installs facing the bay. Everything is itemized upfront on the written quote.

Does the winter-rated outdoor coating cost extra?

No. Every outdoor Bellevue install ships with weather-sealed rail coating standard — Wisconsin freeze-thaw cycles and Brown County humidity off the bay demand it. National chains price this as a $400 add-on. We include it because an outdoor rail in Brown County without the winter coating starts corroding within 18 months. The quote covers the coating, UV seal, and IP55 weather-rated motor housing.

Is a used or refurbished stairlift cheaper in Bellevue?

Used straight rails run $1,500 to $2,800 installed — roughly half the cost of new. We recondition every unit in-house: new batteries, new upholstery, factory-tested motor and safety sensors. Curved rails cannot be reused because every curved track is fabricated to one specific staircase. If your Jourdain Tract ranch or Lime Kiln Road two-story has a standard straight run, a refurbished unit is a solid option. Same warranty on labor and rail, same service coverage.

A word from Luis

Most Bellevue families reach out after a close call — a parent who slipped on the oak treads of a Jourdain Tract ranch, a retired paper-mill worker in an Eaton Road split-level whose knees gave out after decades of shift work, a daughter in Milwaukee worried about her father alone in a Creamery Road colonial he built in 1972.

I drive out within 24 hours, measure once, and hand you a written quote honored for 30 days. Brown County homes are honest — single-story ranches, modest split-levels, the occasional 90-degree landing turn in an Allouez cottage. That keeps install times short and quotes predictable. En español si lo prefiere.
