Stairlift Service Across Tarrant County

Tarrant County, TX

North Arlington is where the volume is — block after block of 1960s and 1970s ranches, many with the split-level entry that requires a curved rail. South Arlington runs newer with 1980s and 1990s two-story colonials where wider stairs and carpeted treads mean a standard straight rail installs in three hours. Dalworthington Gardens has larger estate homes where matching the rail finish to original hardwood matters most. Pantego, tucked between Arlington and Grand Prairie, has small-lot bungalows with steep narrow stairs where the compact-profile rail earns its keep. We also cover Grand Prairie, Mansfield, Kennedale, and Forest Hill without a travel fee.

Straight

North Arlington ranch — straight rail on original oak treads, seat parked at the bottom landing

North Arlington, TX Installed March 2026

A 1968 ranch in North Arlington with a 14-foot straight staircase, original dark-stained oak treads, and an open-tread design that shows every fastener. The beige seat parks at the bottom landing, folded flush against the wall. We pre-drilled pilot holes through the hardwood to prevent splitting and bolted the straight rail to the right side of the stair treads. Mr. Tran's daughter had been asking him to move for two years — he wasn't leaving. The rail matched the warm wood tones and the seat blends into the entry.

Curved

North Arlington split-level — curved rail with 90° turn, seat parked at the upper landing

North Arlington, TX Installed February 2026

A 1972 split-level in North Arlington with the classic DFW layout — stairs from the foyer up to the main living area with a 90° turn at the upper landing beside the half-wall balustrade. Two companies quoted separate straight rails with a walking transfer. We laser-scanned the run, fabricated a single curved rail that bends around the half-wall, and parked the brown-upholstered seat at the upper floor hallway. The modern chandelier overhead stays untouched. Mrs. Martinez steps off onto the hallway carpet — one ride, zero transfers.

Dalworthington Gardens estate — straight rail on stone treads beside the hallway cabinet

Dalworthington Gardens, TX Installed January 2026

A ranch estate in Dalworthington Gardens with stone-topped stair treads, a traditional wooden sideboard with a potted plant right beside the bottom landing, and the cottage-style warmth that the Hendersons wanted preserved. The compact stairwell meant every inch counted. We mounted the straight rail tight to the wall, anchored through the stone treads with masonry-rated fasteners, and positioned the brown-upholstered seat so it folds flat without blocking the sideboard. The cozy traditional feel of the home stays intact.

Outdoor

South Arlington raised porch — weather-sealed outdoor rail on stone-paved front entry

South Arlington, TX Installed December 2025

A raised front porch in South Arlington with eight exterior steps on rough natural stone paving and a carpeted tread at the bottom. Mrs. Jackson uses a walker and had been entering through the garage for two years. We anchored the weather-sealed outdoor rail through the stone paving into the concrete substrate, installed the cream-colored seat with UV-coated upholstery rated for 140°F Texas summers, and added a keyed call station at the lower landing. The IP55 weather-sealed motor handles the heat, UV, and the rare ice storm. Mrs. Jackson used the front door for the first time in two years the day we finished.

Straight

South Arlington colonial — straight rail on carpeted stairs at the landing

South Arlington, TX Installed November 2025

A 1985 two-story colonial in South Arlington with 14 carpeted treads and a landing area at the turn. The brown-upholstered seat matches the carpet tones — deliberate, not coincidence. The rail anchors through the carpet and pad into the plywood subfloor with lag bolts. No carpet removal, no patching. Mrs. Williams had a hip replacement scheduled at Medical City Arlington and wanted the lift working before she came home from surgery. We measured Monday, installed Wednesday. She rode it home three weeks later without touching the stairs.

Platform Lift

North Arlington split-level — indoor wheelchair platform lift for a full-time wheelchair user

North Arlington, TX Installed October 2025

A 1972 split-level where Abuela Sandoval uses a power wheelchair and cannot transfer to a seated stairlift. The inclined platform lift has a flat black anti-slip surface with bright yellow high-visibility safety edges, white handrails, and interlocked gates at both levels. The orange-toned walls of the indoor stairway frame the lift, and natural light from the window illuminates the platform. Luis walked the entire family through the controls in Spanish. Abuela rode it herself on install day and told her granddaughter: 'Ahora no necesito a nadie.'

Common Questions

Everything Arlington Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift actually cost in Arlington right now?

Straight rails in standard Arlington homes — the 1980s South Arlington two-stories, the newer tracts along I-20, the Pantego bungalows — run $2,800 to $5,500 installed. Curved rails, which you'll need for most 1960s and 1970s North Arlington split-level ranches with a mid-landing turn, run $9,000 to $15,000 because the rail is custom-manufactured to your staircase geometry. Outdoor and heat-sealed models for raised front porches and covered patio entries run $4,000 to $7,500. Every quote is written, honored for 30 days, and includes installation, rail, seat, battery backup, and the first service visit.

Are prices different in Arlington than in Dallas or Fort Worth?

Equipment prices are the same across the DFW Metroplex — we don't inflate quotes for Dalworthington Gardens addresses or discount for Pantego ones. What varies slightly is install labor for unusual conditions: split-level landing turns in 1960s ranches, original wood banister preservation in older homes, and running a dedicated circuit in a house with an undersized electrical panel. We tell you the line items upfront. No surprise premiums.

Do you charge extra for Spanish-language service?

No. Every Tarrant County assessment can be conducted in Spanish at your request — Luis is bilingual and has walked hundreds of DFW families through every line of the paperwork in their preferred language. Every printed quote, consent form, and operating manual is also available in Spanish. Zero surcharge.

Any hidden fees for HOA communities in Arlington?

Our quote includes the HOA paperwork we handle for you. The federal Fair Housing Act and Texas Human Resources Code §121.003 prohibit HOAs from unreasonably refusing accessibility modifications for a resident with a documented medical need. We provide the documentation packet at no cost and have worked with dozens of Tarrant County HOAs. If a board requires its own engineer's letter, we tell you before we start — not after.

A word from Luis

Most Arlington families call me after a specific event — a slip on the carpeted stairs of a 1970s North Arlington ranch, a parent who stopped going upstairs after a knee replacement at Medical City Arlington, a son in Houston worried about his father in a Dalworthington Gardens home that's been in the family since 1968. My job is simple: drive to your house within 24 hours, measure once, and give you a price that's honored for 30 days.

Arlington's veteran population is one of the highest in the DFW metro. The Dallas VA Medical Center is 25 minutes north on I-30, and I know the HISA coordinator there by name. If you qualify, I prefill VA Form 10-0103 before I leave your kitchen table. En español si lo prefiere.
