Straight Stairlift
Most common · From $2,800
The straight rail fits any staircase without turns or landings. In Waukee's newer two-story homes — Glynn Village, Spring Crest, Fox Creek — a straight install typically runs 12 to 16 feet and takes under three hours. The rail bolts to the treads, the seat folds up when not in use, and the DC motor runs on battery backup so the lift works during winter power outages.
