Stairlift Service Across Dallas County

Dallas County, TX

From the lakefront colonials of Waterview — where 2000s-era two-stories with formal staircases overlook Lake Ray Hubbard — to the 1980s brick traditionals of Spinnaker Cove where 40 years of expansive-clay soil movement have shifted foundation treads, our team has measured staircases across every major Rowlett neighborhood. We know which Heritage on the Lake floorplans have the 90-degree landing turn that requires a curved rail, which Highland Meadows builds have carpeted treads over plywood, and which Lakeshore Park Estates homes need outdoor lifts for raised stone entries. We also staff dedicated coverage for Sachse, Garland, Rockwall, Heath, and Murphy.

Waterview colonial — straight rail on dark oak hardwood treads

Waterview, TX Installed March 2026

A 2003 two-story colonial in Waterview with dark oak hardwood treads and a clear 14-step run from the foyer to the upstairs master suite. Mr. Chung's mother moved in after a fall at her apartment and the stairs were the only barrier to the guest suite upstairs. The family wanted the beige seat to blend with the warm indoor wood tones. We bolted the rail directly into the oak treads — never into the wall or the balusters — and the chair parks flat against the wall at the bottom landing, leaving the full staircase width open for other family members.

Heritage on the Lake — curved rail with 90-degree turn clearing pendant light

Heritage on the Lake, TX Installed February 2026

A 1998 Heritage on the Lake two-story with a 90-degree turn at the upper landing and a large pendant light in the foyer that hung directly in the rail path. Two other companies told the Simmons they would need to remove the light fixture. We digitally scanned the staircase, custom-fabricated a curved rail that clears the pendant with inches to spare, and installed a powered swivel-exit seat at the upper landing. Mr. Simmons's father rides from the foyer to the upstairs hallway in one continuous motion without disturbing the fixture.

Spinnaker Cove — compact straight rail on stone-tile treads with foundation compensation

Spinnaker Cove, TX Installed January 2026

A 1985 brick colonial in Spinnaker Cove with stone tile treads that the homeowner's late husband selected decades ago. Forty years of expansive-clay soil movement had shifted the foundation, creating 3/16-inch of tread drift invisible to the naked eye. We used the compact-profile rail to preserve walkway width in the narrower 1980s staircase, mounted with masonry anchors rated for the stone tile, and shimmed the brackets to compensate for every fraction of tread shift. The finished ride is perfectly level. The brown upholstery matches the stone tones and the chair folds flat when not in use.

Lakeshore Park Estates — outdoor lift on raised stone-paved front entry

Lakeshore Park Estates, TX Installed December 2025

The Bradfords' Lakeshore Park Estates home has a raised front entry with decorative stone paving and six exterior steps that bake in the summer sun and ice over in the rare North Texas freeze. Mr. Bradford is a retired Marine who qualified for a HISA grant through the Dallas VA. We installed a weather-sealed outdoor rail with UV-stabilized seat upholstery and high-heat lubricant rated to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. The motor housing is IP55-sealed against rain, and the fitted cover protects the seat when not in use. The VA HISA grant covered the bulk of the cost.

Highland Meadows — straight rail on carpeted staircase, post-surgery install

Highland Meadows, TX Installed November 2025

A 1992 Highland Meadows two-story with 14 carpeted treads and a residential landing that opens to the upstairs hallway. Mrs. Owens had moved her 78-year-old mother in after a hip replacement at Baylor Scott & White in Garland, and the stairs were the only barrier to independence. We drilled through the carpet into the plywood subfloor underneath, set the rail brackets, and had the chair running in under three hours. The carpet pile hides the bolt flanges entirely. Her mother tested it five times before letting go of the railing, and has used it independently every day since.

Platform Lift

Dalrock corridor — inclined wheelchair platform lift with yellow safety edges

Dalrock, TX Installed October 2025

Mr. Navarro served 18 years in the Army and uses a power wheelchair after a service-connected back injury. His home near Dalrock Road was rebuilt after the December 2015 EF4 tornado — modern construction, wide stairwell, level treads. We installed an inclined wheelchair platform lift along the main staircase with a flat anti-slip platform and high-visibility yellow safety edges around the perimeter. The platform is large enough for his full-size power chair, the gate interlocks prevent movement unless fully closed, and the controls are mounted at wheelchair-accessible height on both levels. The VA HISA grant covered the bulk of the installation cost.

Common Questions

Everything Rowlett Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift cost in Rowlett right now?

Straight rails in standard Rowlett homes — the brick colonials in Spinnaker Cove, the lakefront two-stories in Waterview, the post-tornado rebuilds along Dalrock — run $2,800 to $5,500 installed. Curved rails for staircases with landing turns, common in Heritage on the Lake and larger Waterview floorplans, run $9,000 to $15,000 because the rail is manufactured to your exact staircase measurements. Outdoor lifts for raised stone entries run $4,000 to $7,500. Every quote is written, honored for 30 days, and includes installation, rail, seat, battery backup, and your first service visit.

Are Rowlett prices different from Garland or Rockwall?

Equipment prices are identical across east Dallas County and into Rockwall County. We do not inflate quotes for lakefront addresses or newer construction. What can vary slightly is install labor for unusual conditions — masonry anchors in stone-tile treads in older Spinnaker Cove homes, a landing turn that requires a curved rail, or a home where foundation shift means extra shimming. We itemize everything on the written quote so you see exactly where every dollar goes.

Do you charge extra for the Texas heat upgrades?

No. Every Rowlett install ships with high-temperature synthetic lubricant rated to 140 degrees Fahrenheit and UV-stable seat fabric as the Texas default. These are not upgrades — they are standard equipment for every stairlift we install in the Dallas metro. The same applies to battery backup, which keeps the lift running during summer power outages. You never pay a surcharge for features that should be baseline in this climate.

Is there a charge for the in-home assessment?

Zero. The assessment takes about 45 minutes — we walk your staircase with you, measure with a laser, answer every question, and leave you with a written quote. No deposit, no obligation, no follow-up pressure calls. If you decide to move forward, the quote is honored for 30 days. If you don't, we shake hands and leave. Every consultation can also be conducted entirely in Spanish at no extra charge.

A word from Luis

Rowlett families usually call me after a parent moves in or after a surgery at Lake Pointe Medical Center changes the math on a two-story house. The lakefront neighborhoods — Waterview, Heritage on the Lake, Spinnaker Cove — have beautiful staircases that were never designed with mobility in mind. I drive out the same day, measure everything, and leave you with a written quote good for 30 days. No pressure, no deposit.

I know east Dallas County. I've installed in every major Rowlett neighborhood, from the 1980s colonials in Spinnaker Cove to the post-tornado rebuilds along Dalrock. En español si lo prefiere.
