Stairlift Service Across Williamson County

Williamson County, TX

From the master-planned fairways of Forest Creek — where 1990s two-stories with wide oak staircases and iron balusters were never designed with mobility in mind — to Brushy Creek split-levels with garage-to-kitchen rises, our team has measured staircases across every major Round Rock neighborhood. We know which Behrens Ranch floorplans have the 90-degree upper landing that requires a curved rail, which Paloma Lake builds have builder-grade carpet over plywood, and which Old Town cottages have narrow limestone treads. We also staff dedicated coverage for Fern Bluff, Teravista, Cat Hollow, Hutto, Pflugerville, and Cedar Park.

Straight

Forest Creek two-story — straight rail on original hardwood oak treads

Forest Creek, TX Installed March 2026

A 1998 Forest Creek home with a wide, straight staircase — original oak treads, iron balusters, and a grandmother who had been sleeping on the living room sofa for six weeks after knee replacement surgery at Baylor Scott & White in Round Rock. Her daughter called us on a Tuesday, we measured Wednesday morning, and installed Friday afternoon. The rail bolts directly into the hardwood treads and never touches the iron balusters or the wall. The chair parks flat against the wall at the bottom landing, leaving the full staircase width open for other family members.

Behrens Ranch — curved rail with 90-degree turn at upper landing

Behrens Ranch, TX Installed February 2026

A 2004 Behrens Ranch home where the staircase curves 90 degrees at the upper landing before opening into the hallway. Two other companies told the Delgados they would need two separate lifts — one for the straight run and a transfer platform at the turn. We laser-scanned the full staircase on the first visit, fabricated a single continuous curved rail, and installed a swivel-exit seat at the upper landing so Mr. Delgado steps directly onto the hallway floor. One continuous ride from the foyer to the second floor with zero mid-stair transfers.

Cat Hollow — compact straight rail in narrow traditional staircase

Cat Hollow, TX Installed January 2026

A late-1990s traditional home in Cat Hollow with a narrow staircase and carpeted treads over a plywood subfloor. The staircase width was below average for the era, which meant a compact-profile rail was essential to keep the remaining walkway clear for other household members. We measured the exact clearance during the assessment, selected the slimmest rail profile in our lineup, and mounted it tight to the wall side. The chair folds flat against the wall when not in use, preserving every inch of usable stair width. Four hours start to finish, including a full walk-through of every safety sensor.

Outdoor

Fern Bluff ranch — outdoor lift on raised limestone front porch

Fern Bluff, TX Installed December 2025

A 1990s ranch in Fern Bluff with a raised front porch, six exterior limestone steps, and Central Texas sun beating down on the south-facing entry from March through November. Mr. Garza is a retired Army staff sergeant who served at Fort Cavazos and qualified for a HISA grant through the Central Texas VA Health Care System in Temple. We installed a weather-sealed outdoor rail with UV-stabilized seat upholstery and high-heat lubricant rated to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. The motor housing is IP55-sealed against rain. His outdoor lift has survived two Texas summers without a single service call.

Paloma Lake — straight rail on fully carpeted staircase, hospital-deadline install

Paloma Lake, TX Installed November 2025

A 2012 Paloma Lake home with a wide, straight, fully carpeted staircase — builder-grade carpet still in good condition. Mr. Franklin had spinal stenosis surgery at Dell Seton Medical Center in Austin and needed the lift operational before his discharge date. We scheduled the assessment for Monday, confirmed the straight rail specification by Tuesday, and installed Thursday morning. The mounting bolts pass through the carpet into the plywood subfloor beneath — no cutting, no creasing, no visible damage. The carpet pile hides the bolt flanges entirely. He rode it to his bedroom the day he came home from the hospital.

Platform Lift

Brushy Creek split-level — inclined wheelchair platform lift with yellow safety edges

Brushy Creek, TX Installed October 2025

A 1990s split-level in Brushy Creek with a four-step rise between the garage-level entry and the main living floor. Mrs. Reeves uses a power wheelchair full-time after a stroke, and the family had been carrying her up those four steps twice a day for nearly a year. We installed an inclined wheelchair platform lift along the staircase with a flat anti-slip platform and high-visibility yellow safety edges around the perimeter. The platform is large enough for a full-size power chair, the gate interlocks prevent movement unless fully closed, and the controls are mounted at wheelchair-accessible height on both levels. She now moves between floors independently.

Common Questions

Everything Round Rock Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift cost in Round Rock right now?

Straight rails in standard Round Rock two-stories — the brick traditionals in Forest Creek, the post-2005 builds in Paloma Lake, the split-levels in Brushy Creek — run $2,800 to $5,500 installed. Curved rails for staircases with landing turns, common in larger Behrens Ranch and Forest Creek homes, run $9,000 to $15,000 because the rail is manufactured to your exact staircase measurements. Outdoor lifts for front entry steps run $4,000 to $7,500. Every quote is written, honored for 30 days, and includes installation, rail, seat, battery backup, and your first service visit.

Are prices higher in Round Rock than in Austin or Georgetown?

Equipment prices are identical across Williamson and Travis counties. We do not inflate quotes based on neighborhood or zip code. What can vary slightly is install labor for unusual conditions — masonry anchors in limestone treads in Old Town homes, a landing turn that requires a curved rail, or a home where the electrical panel is in the garage and we need a dedicated circuit run. We itemize everything on the written quote so you see exactly where every dollar goes.

Is there a charge for the in-home assessment?

Zero. The assessment takes about 45 minutes — we walk your staircase with you, measure with a laser, answer every question, and leave you with a written quote. No deposit, no obligation, no follow-up pressure calls. If you decide to move forward, the quote is honored for 30 days. If you don't, we shake hands and leave.

Do you offer financing for Round Rock homeowners?

Yes — three lending partners with 0% APR for qualified buyers and low fixed-rate plans from $79 per month. Application is a soft credit pull that does not affect your score, takes about four minutes, and approval is usually instant. Many Round Rock families combine financing with a partial VA HISA grant or the federal medical deduction to reduce the effective monthly cost. We walk you through the math during the free assessment.

A word from Luis

Most Round Rock families call me after a parent comes home from Baylor Scott & White or after a knee replacement changes the math on a two-story house. The conversation is almost always the same: 'We moved to Forest Creek fifteen years ago and never thought about the stairs.' I drive out the same day, measure the staircase, and leave you with a written quote good for 30 days. No pressure, no deposit.

I know Williamson County. I've installed in Forest Creek, Brushy Creek, Behrens Ranch, Paloma Lake, Old Town, and the newer Teravista builds. En español si lo prefiere.
