Stairlift Service Across Moore County

Moore County, NC

Pinehurst installations span several distinct residential pockets. The Village of Pinehurst — a National Historic Landmark district — holds early-1900s Colonial Revival cottages with original hardwood treads and winding staircase geometries that straight rails handle cleanly. Pinewild, about a mile from the Village, has 1990s golf-course builds where curved rails frequently sweep 90 degrees at a mid-landing. Forest Creek homes carry the wide, carpeted staircases typical of newer construction. Clarendon Gardens and Weymouth Heights mix traditional Colonials and split-levels, while The National and the Country Club of North Carolina (CCNC) round out the service area. We also serve nearby Southern Pines, Aberdeen, and Whispering Pines.

Common Questions

Everything Pinehurst Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift cost in Pinehurst, NC?

A straight stairlift in Pinehurst starts at $2,800 installed. Curved models, which require custom fabrication after a laser measurement of your staircase, start at $9,000. Outdoor lifts begin at $4,000 with weather-sealing for Sandhills humidity.

Why are curved stairlifts more expensive for Pinehurst homes?

Curved stairlifts cost more because each rail is custom-bent to match your exact staircase geometry — no two are alike. In Pinehurst, the historic Village homes often have winding staircases with mid-landings, and the golf-course homes in Pinewild and Forest Creek frequently have 90-degree turns at the top.

Are there any hidden costs with stairlift installation in Pinehurst?

No hidden costs. The quoted price includes the rail, carriage, seat, installation labor, and a full demonstration of how to use and maintain the lift.

How do Pinehurst stairlift prices compare to Raleigh or Charlotte?

Stairlift pricing in Pinehurst runs comparable to the broader North Carolina market. The same straight-rail model that starts at $2,800 here would cost about the same in Raleigh or Charlotte.

A word from Luis

I've put stairlifts into just about every type of home Pinehurst has — from the early-1900s Colonial Revival cottages in the historic Village with their show-stopping staircases, to the wide carpeted builds in Forest Creek, to the stone-porch entries in Clarendon Gardens. The historic Village homes are my favorite installs.

Those original oak treads and narrow staircases look intimidating, but a straight rail bolts right in — about three hours, no wall damage, and an 82-year-old is back using her upstairs bathroom. The one thing people here don't always plan for is the humidity. We're in the Sandhills, and July and August get muggy. If you need an outdoor lift for porch steps or a raised entry, get the weather-sealed model.

We handle the measurement, the install, and the funding paperwork — including VA HISA and NC Medicaid CAP/DA — under one roof. Call (800) 965-0350 for a free in-home assessment and a written quote you can submit with any funding application.
