Our Coverage Area

Stairlift Service Across Seminole County

Seminole County, FL

Oviedo spans from the rural acreage of Black Hammock on Lake Jesup's shore to the walkable town center at Oviedo on the Park. The largest residential pockets account for most installs: Live Oak Reserve (2001–2010 builds, mature oaks, two-story homes with hardwood treads), Carillon (1990s block-exterior split-levels with 90-degree stair turns), and Bentley Woods (Centex-built, carpeted stairs on the north side off SR 434). Remington Park (230 homes, late-1980s) has narrower staircases that sometimes rule out a standard straight rail. Gated communities like Chapman Lakes and Ellington Estates need HOA coordination. We also serve Chuluota, Geneva, Winter Springs, and Sanford.

Live Oak Reserve, FL Installed January 2026

The Henderson home is a 2006 two-story in Live Oak Reserve with dark oak hardwood treads and a straight 14-foot run. Luis bolted the rail to the treads, matched the cream seat upholstery to the neutral wall color, and had the lift running before lunch. Carillon — curved rail at the upper landing

Carillon, FL Installed February 2026

The Russo home in Carillon is a 1994 block-exterior split-level. The staircase makes a 90-degree left turn at a mid-landing beneath a chandelier. Luis laser-measured the turn radius and rail path in about an hour. The curved rail was fabricated off-site and parks the brown seat up at the top floor, clear of the hallway.

Common Questions

Everything Oviedo Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift cost in Oviedo, FL?

A straight stairlift in Oviedo starts at $2,800 installed. Curved lifts, custom-bent to match your staircase turns, start at $9,000. Outdoor models start at $4,000. Heavy-duty units rated to 600 lb start at $5,050. These prices include the assessment, the rail, the seat, the install labor, and a demo of how everything works. No hidden fees — the number Luis gives you at the assessment is the number on the invoice.

Do Oviedo stairlift prices include the assessment and installation?

Yes. Every quoted price includes the in-home assessment, where Luis measures your stairs and checks tread material, electrical access, and clearances, plus the rail and seat unit, full installation, and a walkthrough of the controls, safety sensors, and battery backup. There is no separate assessment fee and no travel charge for Oviedo or any Seminole County address.

Are there cheaper stairlift options in Oviedo?

We don't compete on price alone — we compete on the install staying solid for 15 years. Some companies sell reconditioned units for less, but they come with no manufacturer warranty and unknown motor hours. Our lifts are new, factory-shipped, and carry a 5-year parts warranty plus a lifetime warranty on the rail. Financing starts at $79/month if you prefer to spread the cost.

Does Medicare cover stairlift costs in Florida?

No. Medicare Parts A, B, and D do not cover stairlifts — they're classified as home modifications, not durable medical equipment. The two main funding paths in Florida are the VA HISA grant (up to $6,800 for service-connected veterans) and the SMMC-LTC Medicaid waiver, which can cover home accessibility modifications for eligible enrollees. We walk you through both applications at no charge.

A word from Luis

I've put lifts into about every kind of home Oviedo has — 1980s two-story Colonials in Remington Park, newer builds in Live Oak Reserve, and townhomes over at Oviedo on the Park. One pattern I see constantly: the master bedroom is upstairs in these big houses. That means a curved rail roughly half the time, especially in Carillon and Chapman Lakes where the staircase makes a 90-degree turn at the landing.

Out in Black Hammock and Geneva you've got older ranch homes on larger lots — single-story, but with three or four steps up to the porch. An outdoor straight lift handles that. The humidity and summer storms mean you want the weather-sealed model for anything exterior, and battery backup matters here. We had a lift in Live Oak Reserve run through a six-hour outage during hurricane season last year. The homeowner's daughter called the next morning and said her dad didn't even know the power had gone out.

Your Next Step

Ready to get started? It's simple.

Oviedo is the kind of place people stay. They buy a home in Live Oak Reserve when the kids are in elementary school and they're still in it when the grandkids visit. A stairlift keeps that house working — no moving to a single-story, no converting the dining room into a bedroom. Same view out the kitchen window, same neighbors, same Cross Seminole Trail access for the morning walk.

Give us a call or fill out the form. Luis will come out, measure the stairs, and give you a number that doesn't change. No pressure, no follow-up calls unless you want them. Most Oviedo installs happen within a week of the assessment.
